Evie was left alone in the emperor's bedchamber after such a passionate night, and just his leaving like that left such a sour taste in her mouth. She stood up and dressed, every slightest inconvenience pissing her off. She opened the doors, leaving. "Your Highness, we have breakfast ready," Hillary said. "No thanks, I will have breakfast in my pavilion," she said. "Go call Lady Catherine for me," she said.
"Your Highness, how was your night?" Cathy rushed in with light footsteps. "My night was good. We are going back to Moonlight Pavilion," Evie said, walking away despite the clear instruction from Reign not to leave.
Cathy, Helga, and Lila followed after her, wondering why their mistress was in such a bad mood. She stopped at the gate and looked at the wooden board at the gate. "Go and bring me ink and a pen," she said, and once Helga was back with the ink, she took it and wrote:
