I DON'T WANNA DIE! I DON'T WANNA DIE! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME! While I am running to the exit of the mall with it is collapsing all around me along with people that are running and screaming for their lives. Just then I am able to see the outside for it to become dark when I was able to open my eyes, I am in an abandoned city with an unknown entity in front of me.
The entity is transparent for it changes into a mirror and what I see is unexpected, I am in another person's body. Not that I'm not pleased with the body being it has curves galore in all the right places with long blonde hair even though the chest area is bigger than mine where at least I still have the same eye color blue.
With me admiring myself my head starts to hurt as if a flood gate had opened allowing my memories to come back to me, 'this is my body...? why did I think it was someone else.' When it finally stopped, I recalled my name also what happened to me. "My name is Janar and I had died trying to escape the mall as it was collapsing around me just before I could reach the exit I was crushed by the debris."
Composing myself I look back towards the mirror to further examine my body. I look at my body only to wonder where I am. For the entity changes to words saying "do you want to be a player or a citizen in this world? This world is survival to the fittest. You will be forced to play death games where you collect faced up cards and when all the cards are collected the players that have survived up till then will have to make a choice.
So will you be a player or citizen also the difference between them is a citizen gets to become the game master of the games and for being a player is self-planetary. But the players get 1 request for their time in this world, but it comes at a cost for the cost of it is not known until the request is made.
So, what will your choice be?"
I asked, "after clearing all the games to collect the faced-up cards what choice will we have to make."
It says, "I cannot answer you have to find out yourself." My next question is "the 1-time request is it only for the players?" Only for it to say yes. "Then I will be a player, and my request can be anything I want it to be right?" Causing it to reply "yes it can be but remember it will come at a cost" for is that all it asks.
Nodding my head "yes" it says now then I will be transferring you to your new world.
When I open my eyes, I am in the center of another abandoned city with litter everywhere and vegetation growing on the building for that's when a screen lights up. that's on a building in front of me with an arrow pointing to my right with writing above it say gaming arena that way. It's pointing to a building a few blocks away while I can see the lights from the building it's pointing to, as I start walking towards it.
When I'm reaching the building, I hear a few voices coming from around the corner. When I get around the corner, I see them walking around a BMW 523d, I take a few minutes to admire its beauty wishing I could drive it before heading in. I walk past some stairs to walk down the hall to make a turn only to stop at the turn, for a woman to walk past me while I see the 3 guys, I heard earlier fiddling with the phones they picked up.
One of them sees us and asks, "if we know what's going on?" The woman doesn't answer for she walks up to the one with a blue dress shirt and black pants on, grabbing his work ID card before tossing towards the way I am. But before it even gets a few inches away it's shot by a laser from the ceiling. The 3 men jump back from the shock they just had from the surprise that the women just showed them.
Still in shock, the man that appears to be in what seems like beach attire walks to where the laser came from while his 2 friends try to stop him. He stops just before where the badge had landed for a laser grid to show up.
'Mhmm, so that's how it forces you to play' while I was thinking this a highschooler walks up to me, bringing me out of my thoughts and she says in relief "I finally found someone, I thought I was the only person here." Before I responded she turned to look towards the others and got excited at seeing more people and speed walk towards them as they were trying to warn her.
Not to go any further but she didn't catch the warning for she entered.
Sighing in disbelief that she didn't get that the 3 men were trying to warn her, the woman picks up another phone and says "my condolences" to go an pickup another one before she turns to asks me if I'm coming to play the game too. I lift my head looking at her "are you asking me?" only to hear from her "is there anyone else around to ask."
Looking at the phone in her hand "yea, I guess I'll come play" walking to her to take the phone.
Taking the phone, it does facial recognition just then for it to go to the home screen that has a back of a card as its wallpaper. With an image of a suit card that has game under it and the other saying visa, then after a few seconds you hear a machine voice that sounds like a female.
[System female voice: The game will commence in 30second the game has 6 participants. The name of the game is Dead or Alive you have to pick a door in each room within the time limit and to leave the building it has to be done within the same time limit, game difficulty 3 of clubs.]
Just when it finished the elevator door opens and the woman gets on, while she was getting on with her back towards us "if you don't want to die get on you obviously can't leave." I get on the elevator with the other 4 following behind me for the elevator door to close.
