Lana, Evan and Yuan. . . the trio finally arrives at the asylum, as they step out of the car they examine the dark building standing in front of them, the grass surrounding the area is dry, the trees dead…and like any other horror movie there's utter silence, a perfect example of an abandoned building set up where ghosts roam greeting people with pure heart..
Yuan : here you go Lana this for sure is your type of place isn't it?
Lana who was inspecting the gate along with her trusted companion her camera, she turns towards Yuan nodding her head with excitement like a little kid just been told he will be going to an amusement park,
Lana : ofcourse it is!
Evan chuckles lowly watching Lana's excitement as he responds,
Evan : After all it's Lana we talking about
All three of them make their way inside the building, and the aesthetics inside and out are in sync it's dark, gloomy, and a mess everything a ghost will define as a 'cozy house', Lana snaps a picture here and there as she examines the area following behind the other two, Yuan turns around as he faces the other two,
Yuan: Your paragraph guy here..So here is what we know till now…people who thought it was a good picnic spot captured some odd figures in their pictures and videos…they said they could feel an eerie presence around in this area and they could hear footsteps following them around…so being the famous trio we are here to investigate this place and uncover the truth
Evan being his usual quiet self just nods his head at the information while Lana being our hyper girl her eyes glimmer with excitement as this was just another adventurous journey for her.
The team is back to their investigation while Lana aims her camera to take a picture of marks on the walls but the shutter button clicks on it's own while a dark figure sweeps under the flashlight, the three of them share glances with each other while Yuan points over in the direction where the dark shadow was seen a moment ago,
Yuan : tell me…am not tripping
Evan shakes his head as he walks over in that direction closely examining the spot,
Evan : You weren't tripping my friend, there was a shadow here
Lana : Omg is this the first ghost encounter of the day?!
Evan and Yuan blink giving each other a look before bursting into a laugh,
Yuan : classic Lana..totally unfazed by the spirits as usual
Lana takes a step forward but something stops her mid way, a faint whisper passes near her ear,
…. : Lana…
She looks around cautiously but nothing comes into her view, Evan noticed the sudden change in Lana's demanour as he looks at her with a look of concern,
Lana : All good Lana?
Lana turns her face towards him, her smile takes no time in returning..radiant as always as she looks at him,
Lana : All good
Evan though not convinced decides to just nod his head but keeping an eye on her as usual, Yuan who noticed the exchange between the two perks in,
Yuan : Ahem you two can get your time after we are done with the investigation
Lana raises an eyebrow at Yuan while Evan clears his throat going back to his investigation,
Lana : Oh will the ghosts mind if we just chit chat a bit?
Yuan shrugs his shoulder as he flashes his flashlight across the room,
Yuan : Who knows they might kick us out for disturbing their peace time you know?
Lana : In that case they might kick you first since you keep showing off your charms..careful one of the ghosts might fall for those charms and chase us around
Yuan : I can't help if I am this charming you see
Evan chuckles and gently pats both of their shoulders as a reminder for the surrounding,
Evan : guys don't bicker among yourselves we have a mission you see
In the pin drop silence of the hallway a sudden sound caughts all of the three's attention, it's from the upper floor..the sounds seems like someone is banging the floor aggressively the three exchange glances with each other…
What could possibly be causing the sound?
