Chapter 137 - Chapter 139: Harvest from the Dream World

When the girl said the name "Sherry," Luca finally confirmed that she wasn't the same Miyano Shiho he knew from the anime.

"Sherry" was Miyano Shiho's code name in the Black Organization.

Given the original Shiho's fear and hatred of the Organization, she would never voluntarily choose that code name as her new identity.

It seemed that compared to the trauma of those memories, "Sherry" wanted to distinguish herself from the original "Miyano Shiho." She was embracing her status as a new entity.

Luca didn't mind. He simply instructed Shamila to arrange a new identity for her.

Shamila was understandably shocked to see a beautiful young woman suddenly appear in her young master's lab.

However, Luca had previously briefed his inner circle about the recent influx of visitors from other dimensions. This provided a convenient cover story for Sherry.

"A genius girl who accidentally fell into our world, was disappointed with her original life, and decided to stay."

Shamila still had doubts, but she was loyal enough to process the paperwork without asking too many questions.

With that settled, Luca finally had time to reflect on his experience in the illusory bubble world.

The reason he didn't care much if Sherry was a replica or not was because his entire experience in that dream world felt surreal.

Sherry might be a creation ex nihilo, projected by the system. Debating her "authenticity" was pointless right now.

His focus was on what he had gained.

After the Aurantius Haro accidentally crashed into a [Solar Skateboard], Luca discovered something amazing: this Core Component required zero synthesis materials.

He just drew the circle, clapped his hands, and bam—the finished item appeared.

Simultaneously, his consciousness was pulled into that dream world.

In the dream, Luca didn't have his full memories. He only retained vague impressions and obsessions from his real life.

"I didn't expect that without my memories, my subconscious desire to learn and improve my scientific skills would be so strong."

It was probably due to Tony Stark's influence. Even with Haro's help, Stark constantly critiqued Luca's designs, making him feel inadequate. Plus, maintaining the "genius inventor" persona was stressful. Deep down, Luca desperately wanted to be the real deal.

Not just in the dream, but in reality too, Luca had been studying hard lately. That's why he was building skateboards and upgrading weapons.

Back to the dream world.

Because Dream-Luca didn't have his full memories, everything he built in that world was created from scratch, using knowledge he learned there.

Initially, vague impressions from his real soul gave him inspiration for gadgets.

But as his knowledge grew, he achieved those wild ideas using alternative methods.

Alternative methods.

Remember, Dream-Luca didn't have access to Marvel tech.

So, starting with "Haro," everything Dream-Luca built was an imitation based on "Conan-Physics" (Ke-xue).

For example, the flying robots used to destroy the Black Organization didn't use Stark's repulsor tech (which Dream-Luca didn't know). They used high-powered rotor fans, inspired by the [Wyvern Drone] Luca had analyzed just before entering the dream.

"Conan-Physics" operates on the principle of: If I believe strapping two fans to a backpack makes it fly, it flies. Force equals mass times plot armor.

Okay, maybe not that extreme. Building robots still required solid theoretical knowledge.

And that was the real treasure.

Those nine years in the dream world filled the gaps in Luca's foundational knowledge. It saved him years of study.

More importantly, it gave him new perspectives on his existing items.

"Black tech" items he couldn't understand before now had potential research paths using these alternative theories.

Luca could finally say he was barely worthy of the title "Genius Boy."

"Now, let's see whose laws of physics are stronger: Conan-Physics or Marvel-Science!"

Luca's eyes shone with excitement.

"Haro! Stop bouncing! Get over here and work!!"

---

Days and nights of frantic work followed.

He even sent Sherry away to the bio-lab so she wouldn't distract him.

For the first time, Luca felt the thrill of inventing with his own brain, not just ordering Haro around.

Finally, Luca stood in his backyard, holding his creations.

In front of him were three pairs of "red sneakers," each slightly different.

These were test models for the [Power-Enhancing Shoes].

None of them were the original system-synthesized pair.

Pair #1 (Left): Built by Luca using the exact methods and logic Dr. Agasa taught him in the dream world. It was a pure "Conan-Physics" replica.

Pair #2 (Middle): Built using the same "Conan-Physics" design, but constructed entirely by the Aurantius Haro. Luca only gave verbal instructions.

Pair #3 (Right): Built by Luca using Marvel-Science principles. He combined his new knowledge with analysis of the [Tuxedo]'s muscle-stimulating electric shock technology. It looked different—high-top ankle guards, reinforced toe caps—and its output was theoretically lower. A "Monkey Model" (stripped-down version) for control.

"Alright. Which one do I test first?"
