Chapter 108 - Chapter 110: This Kid...

Luca, hearing Tony's words, decisively retreated and flew into the air.

Immediately after, a dozen red points of light lit up all over the "Tony Ice Block." The next moment, these red dots intensified rapidly, transforming into sharp laser beams that sliced swiftly across the surface.

In the blink of an eye, the thick layer of ice encasing the Mark armor was cut into pieces by the fleeting lasers and scattered onto the ground.

"Hiss~"

Watching this scene, the corners of Luca's mouth twitched. All he felt was Tony's overflowing malice.

"Is this the solution you mentioned for controlling the Pencil Missiles?"

"Wait... is this really necessary?!"

It was one thing to do this while controlling a mecha remotely. But if a human body used the [Pencil Missiles] like this, the lethality of that laser cutting sequence would rival the lightsaber flurry Luca had just unleashed among the Frost Giants.

Hearing Luca's comment, Tony, now back in the air, grinned.

"Of course it's necessary. See? Didn't I just use it?"

As he spoke, Tony blasted away a roaring Frost Giant below him and dived back into the fray.

However, their happy rhythm of teaching while killing enemies and saving people didn't last long.

Hawkeye's shout came through the communication channel.

"Hey! Who's free right now?"

"There's a giant beast charging madly in the South 46th Block! There's a hospital nearby with many people who can't evacuate. My attacks aren't hurting it!"

As soon as these words came out, the somewhat relaxed atmosphere instantly turned serious.

After decapitating a Frost Giant with a single slash, Luca saw Tony covering the retreat of several civilians while fighting an entire squad of giants. He replied decisively:

"I'm on my way!"

Without waiting for Tony's stunned reaction, the thrusters on Luca's flight pack erupted with flames, and he shot into the sky.

"This kid..."

On the other side, Hawkeye, who had just called for help, couldn't afford to stay high up and observe the battlefield for the other Avengers anymore.

The terrifying beast below, over ten meters tall, had already smashed through a low building, yet its speed hadn't decreased in the slightest. Instead, it charged forward even more furiously.

Hawkeye leaped decisively onto a roof closer to the beast. He drew three arrows from his back and pulled the bowstring in rapid succession.

Thwip-thwip-thwip~

Three arrows shot out like lightning. The first one hit the beast directly in its ridiculously small eye compared to its body.

Boom~

With a loud bang, the arrowhead exploded into a fireball.

However, the explosive power of this arrow didn't even make the beast pause for a second.

But then, the other two arrows landed.

They weren't aimed at the monster's body but at the ground in front of it.

The second arrow, with a somewhat bulky head, exploded into a large patch of oil upon hitting the ground. Unfortunately, the beast lived on ice and snow year-round; its feet didn't slip at all.

But then, the third arrow landed.

It exploded into a large burst of pale yellow flowing flame on the ground.

The oil was instantly ignited by the white phosphorus arrow.

A surging pillar of fire immediately engulfed the ten-meter-tall beast.

Hawkeye's follow-up arrows weren't meant to kill the beast directly. He just wanted to rely on the slippery ground or the Frost creatures' fear of fire to stop the monster from charging so recklessly.

However...

"This isn't scientific! Why doesn't this ice creature have any fur!"

Yes, the ice beast in front of him had mostly dry, ugly skin.

After being engulfed by the fire, although its skin was slightly scorched, it didn't pause at all, continuing to roar and charge forward.

"ROAR————"

"Thor, you bastard! You said they were afraid of fire!"

Seeing the beast roar in anger, seemingly not even lightly injured, Hawkeye could only complain about Thor's unreliability while nocking another arrow.

But the next moment.

A white figure, like a cannonball falling from the sky, smashed straight down.

"BOOM————"

A deafening noise.

The earth trembled.

The terrifying beast, previously unstoppable, was smashed directly into the ground by this sudden, violent impact.

A translucent white shockwave exploded instantly, carrying the snow on the ground and shattering all the glass windows of the nearby buildings.

Thick, web-like cracks spread instantly in all directions.

The entire ground seemed to have sunk a few inches.

Watching the white figure slowly rising amidst the rising smoke...

Hawkeye, who already had an arrow nocked, swallowed secretly. He gripped the arrow fletching tightly to prevent it from slipping and shooting out.

Quietly turning the aimed arrowhead away, he breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Is there really a human inside that armor? That speed? That impact? Even in Tony's armor, the person inside would be shattered, right?

As Hawkeye was thinking this.

Luca, covered in the beast's blood and brain matter, flew quickly in front of him and hovered.

His voice sounded somewhat cheerful.

"Any other monsters need dealing with?"

Hawkeye swallowed again before whispering.

"No giant beasts found for now. But behind that beast just now, many Frost Giants are swarming this way along the path it crashed through."

Hearing this, Luca looked in the direction the beast came from.

Sure enough, a large number of Frost Giants were roaring and charging in the distance. They had only fallen behind because they ran on two legs and weren't as fast as the beast.

Looking back at Clint Barton, who had tightened his grip on the arrow again, Luca thought for a moment and asked politely.

"Need help finding a high vantage point? Pick a building, I'll take you up!"

Hearing this, Clint didn't mind the blue gore on Luca. He raised his hand and pointed directly at the building he was on just now.

After carrying Clint back to the roof in a princess carry...

Seeing Clint's constipated expression, Luca decisively had Haro secretly take a photo for a keepsake.

Before leaving, Luca added another sentence after thinking about it.

"By the way, Mr. Thor only said Frost Giants are afraid of high temperatures~ Biologically speaking, that beast just now shouldn't count as a giant~"

"Remember to listen carefully during the next pre-battle briefing, Mr. Agent~"

After speaking, Luca put two fingers together at his brow, then waved.

After giving Clint a Polish salute, he turned around dashingly and rushed towards the Frost Giants approaching below.

"This kid..."
