Chapter 47 - My Strength Has Increased Greatly, Lord Hidan!

"Fire Style: Flame Bullet!"

Hidan formed hand signs, and the surging chakra within his body gathered at the pressure points in his mouth, transforming into a sphere of flame that he spat out.

Boom!

The flames slammed into the wall, triggering a violent explosion.

Hidan raised a hand to wipe his mouth, his eyes shining with excitement. I never thought there would be a day when I, the great Hidan, could use ninjutsu!

Because he was illiterate and disliked studying, he had assumed he was destined to have no connection with ninjutsu. He never expected to meet someone like Simu.

He turned to look at Simu, saying somewhat awkwardly, "Even though I don't like ninjutsu, since it was a gift from you, I'll accept it for now."

Simu looked at the tsundere man and rolled his eyes in exasperation.

"If you don't like it, I can actually help you remove all traces of these techniques."

Hearing this, Hidan grew anxious.

"Hmph, I already said I'd reluctantly accept it..."

Before he could finish, Simu had already moved.

"I don't like forcing people."

Pitch-black wings bloomed instantly, every feather shimmering with a terrifying metallic glint. The massive dark mass shrouded Hidan like a torrential rainstorm.

Hidan hurriedly dodged.

However, Simu's attack speed and range were far beyond what Hidan could evade. He was soon like a small boat in a storm, teetering on the edge of collapse under the onslaught.

"Damn it, Simu! What kind of move is this now?"

If it were an attack from anyone else, Hidan wouldn't have cared at all. After all, he was the man who possessed an Immortal Body.

But Simu was different. If this guy chose to attack this way, he definitely had a follow-up plan to subdue him!

Even though Hidan wasn't afraid of being subdued—at most, he'd just get his head chopped off—he was the Great Lord Hidan. How could he endure being pinned down by Simu every single time? Sometimes, he wanted to be the one on top, okay?

At that thought, Hidan's gaze became determined.

"Earth Style: Mud Wall!"

Suddenly, he formed hand signs, and a wall of rock rose with a roar, completely blocking the incoming black feathers.

Although it was blown to pieces by Simu's frantic bombardment in less than three seconds, it had bought Hidan enough time.

"Bastard Simu, taste this!"

Hidan's voice suddenly came from underground.

A pale arm burst from the earth, grabbing Simu's ankle!

This guy had actually used the Mud Wall as a distraction to use Earth Style: Underground Projection Jutsu to reach Simu's feet for a sneak attack...

Wait.

Certain strange thoughts flashed through Simu's mind.

By now, Hidan had burst out of the ground. He wore a wide grin as his shoulder blades twisted.

Crimson Koukaku sprouted from his back. To Simu's surprise, it actually formed a massive red triple-bladed scythe!

So Kagune can be used like that...

Simu stroked his chin. It seemed Hidan actually possessed a bit of imagination.

Seeing Simu lost in thought, Hidan assumed he was stunned with fear and burst into a triumphant laugh.

"Hahaha! Kamizuki Simu, die!"

The blood-red scythe swung through the air in a massive arc, slashing toward Simu's body.

However, the scene of Simu being cleaved in two did not happen.

Before the scythe could touch him, a layer of pitch-black Koukaku emerged from Simu's skin, wrapping him in a protective shell.

Clang!

A sharp metallic collision rang out, and sparks flew.

Simu turned his head and mocked him without mercy, "Little Hidan, you couldn't wait to help me with an itch the moment you woke up?"

These words caused Hidan to completely lose his cool.

"Aaaaah!!!!"

He roared, swinging the man-sized blood-colored scythe in a frenzy against Simu.

But the scythe, which looked heavy and powerful, did nothing but kick up sparks against Simu's body. It had no other effect.

"Huff... huff..."

Hidan hunched over, his chest heaving as he panted for breath.

In contrast, Simu finally released the Koukaku wrapping. He yawned, stretched his limbs, and even praised him, "Little Hidan, your massage technique has improved after a few days."

"Truly worthy of praise!"

He gave a thumbs-up as a sign of encouragement.

But to Hidan, this kind of encouragement was undoubtedly a massive insult!

"Damn you, Kamizuki Simu! Taste my power!"

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"

A violent gale erupted from Hidan's mouth, its intensity tearing dense scratches into the ground.

Simu remained expressionless as he adjusted his glasses. The pitch-black Ukaku behind him suddenly stood erect, the endless feathers merging into a giant sword that slashed down against the incoming gale!

The result was obvious.

The previously violent air current was like a younger brother before this blade, dissipating instantly upon contact.

Hidan still refused to give up.

"Curse you! Lightning Style..."

He was halfway through his hand signs when Simu appeared in front of him, and a size-43 sandal slammed into his face.

Watching Hidan fly backward, Simu patted his palms and said calmly, "I gave you these ninjutsu so you'd have more tools against enemies, not so you'd abandon your best skill—Taijutsu—to have a ninjutsu duel."

Simu seemed to remember something and raised an eyebrow, adding casually, "Though for you, getting your priorities backward is quite normal."

"You bastard Simu, you're the one with your priorities backward!" Hidan argued defiantly.

Simu laughed. He tilted his head toward Hidan and asked, "Then tell me, what does 'getting priorities backward' even mean?"

"Uh..."

Hidan turned red.

Hidan became embarrassed and angry.

Hidan charged at Simu.

Hidan called "GG."

Hidan's head was chopped off and held in Simu's hand.

"Tsk tsk. Your skills are poor but your addiction is strong. What would you do without me, little Hidan?"

Simu gripped Hidan's hair, swinging the head around like a lantern.

"You bastard Simu! I'll kill you one day!"

Simu smiled slightly at the words and whispered, "If that guy dies, there will be no need for the Jashin Religion to exist."

"Aaaaah!"

"Hahahaha!"

Simu laughed heartily, carrying Hidan's head out of the temple.

Meanwhile, countless crows left the area, scattering in all directions.

After Simu left, the blood in the pool dried up rapidly.

If someone had X-ray vision, they would see the bright red blood flowing through a crack at the bottom of the pool, deep into a hidden crevice underground.

There, a sphere of blood was pulsing rhythmically, beat by beat.
