Willie whimpered in fear at the sound of the gunshot while they hurried to the kitchen. They had just released a bullet to the door, and were uttering more threats. "Are they going to kill us?"
Kyle chuckled, making his way to the backdoor which led to the roof. "No way. They wouldn't even see our backs." His heart was in his mouth as he spoke, because it was pretty much possible, they could also be on lookout for him on the rooftop as well. This door majorly served as an emergency door for a fire escape. If there was time, he wouldn't have hesitated to throw some food into the backpack, but he couldn't even think of that now.
