Kurama's voice was loud and unmistakably furious.
Even though it didn't really trust that bastard Yuki Seisui, it knew one thing very clearly: these were exactly the kind of words Shukaku would say.
Seeing Kurama like this, Yuki Seisui chuckled softly, then vanished from the sealing space.
"Shukaku, are you really ready?"
"Hmph!" Shukaku snorted coldly. "Just summon that stinking fox!"
"Leave everything else to me!"
You really didn't have to put it like that.
You're making it sound like we're on the same side.
Thinking this, Yuki Seisui shook his head inwardly, then brought his hands together.
"Summoning Technique — Nine-Tails!"
With a surge of smoke, Kurama appeared beneath Yuki Seisui's feet.
At the same time, chakra filled with brutality, killing intent, and countless negative emotions erupted outward.
The surrounding trees were flattened as if struck by a violent storm.
"So," Kurama growled, his massive pupils locking onto Shukaku,
"You said you wanted to beat me up?"
Shukaku bared his teeth in a grin. Then, copying a gesture Yuki Seisui had used before, he raised a single middle finger.
"In front of me, Lord Shukaku, you're nothing but a fart, Kurama!"
"I'll generously allow you to cut off eight of your tails yourself!"
"Good, good, good!" Kurama laughed in extreme anger.
"So that's how it is!"
He lunged straight at Shukaku.
Shukaku immediately turned around and ran.
Seeing this, Yuki Seisui calmly retreated backward, landing beside Sarutobi Hiruzen and Danzo.
Kurama chased, Shukaku fled and within moments, the two tailed beasts vanished from the trio's sight.
Yuki Seisui turned to Hiruzen, about to speak but noticed Danzo staring in the direction they had disappeared, his eyes gleaming with an unnatural light.
Who knew what he was plotting in his heart.
Yuki Seisui sneered inwardly.
You'd better know your place.
Otherwise, if you provoke Shukaku or Kurama…
Thinking this, he chuckled softly and turned to Hiruzen.
"I'll demonstrate my new kekkei genkai now."
Hiruzen, like Danzo, was still looking toward where Kurama and Shukaku had gone.
But unlike Danzo, his eyes were filled with concern.
He didn't respond immediately, instead asking worriedly,
"Those two won't affect the village… will they?"
He had seen the power of tailed beasts before.
If the Nine-Tails and One-Tail really started fighting, and a Tailed Beast Bomb landed inside the village—
That would be a disaster.
Hearing this, Yuki Seisui shook his head.
"Don't be fooled by all their shouting."
"They actually get along very well."
"They won't use Tailed Beast Bombs."
"At worst, this forest will become a bit of a mess—but nothing serious."
As he spoke, he clasped his hands together.
A seed sprouted at his feet.
"Th—This!"
"Could this be—?!"
Danzo's eyes widened as he stared at Yuki Seisui in disbelief.
As the tree grew taller and taller, Hiruzen's expression shifted from worry, to surprise, to utter disbelief.
"This is… Wood Release?!"
By now, the tree had fully grown.
Standing atop a branch, Yuki Seisui nodded down at them, then leapt lightly to the ground.
"I've been developing the legendary Wood Release for some time now."
"But earlier, by accident, I awakened Ice Release instead."
"Fortunately, I've finally succeeded with this as well."
As he spoke, Hiruzen placed a hand against the tree.
"Ordinary wood?" Hiruzen frowned slightly.
"Of course," he soon realized.
"Even Hashirama-sama Wood Release didn't absorb chakra or stamina from every tree."
Danzo stood there in a daze, staring at the tree Yuki Seisui had created.
His expression changed again and again.
Then he silently counted the bloodline limits Yuki Seisui had displayed so far.
And sucked in a sharp breath.
For an ordinary ninja, obtaining even one kekkei genkai was nearly impossible.
Yet this man possessed several.
The Uzumaki clan's Chakra,
The Uchiha clan's Sharingan,
The Ice Clan's Ice Release, and the First Hokage's Wood Release.
Four kekkei genkai.
He could no longer comprehend this world.
Then Danzo remembered Yuki Seisui's Sage Mode.
For the first time, he felt completely at a loss.
"Mon… monster…"
Danzo muttered softly, then clenched his fists.
Even if Yuki Seisui was powerful.
Even if becoming Hokage had just become even harder.
He, Danzo, would not give up.
A Yuki Seisui with the Mangekyo Sharingan must never become Hokage!
I, Danzo, say so!
While Danzo's thoughts churned endlessly far away, Tsunade was already on her way back.
After finishing the Sand battlefield, Tsunade and Jiraiya had led their forces to the Iwagakure battlefield.
That was why Danzo had been able to return to Konoha so quickly.
Iwagakure was the first to announce a ceasefire.
At this moment, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and the others were almost back at Konoha.
"Jiraiya-sensei… and Tsunade-sama?"
Minato frowned as he looked at Jiraiya, who was wrapped in bandages and being carried on a stretcher by two ninja.
Jiraiya glanced at Minato and sighed.
"Onoki is very strong."
"I even suffered severe injuries."
"But it's fine. As long as the war is over."
He spoke with righteous resolve.
Tsunade, however, snorted coldly and mercilessly exposed the truth.
"If you provoke me again next time, it won't end like this."
Minato instantly understood.
Without a word, he quietly took several steps away from Jiraiya.
Noticing this, Jiraiya struggled upright and pointed at Minato with his heavily bandaged finger.
"Minato!"
"Minato, what's happened to you?!"
"You weren't like this before!"
"Have you been corrupted by that Yuki Seisui brat?!"
Tsunade frowned, a flicker of concern flashing in her eyes before disappearing.
She forcefully pushed Jiraiya back down and said coldly,
"Lie still."
The sudden movement seemed to tug at Jiraiya's wounds, making him grimace in pain.
Watching their interaction, Minato smiled.
Then he said,
"Tsunade-sama, I'll head back to Konoha first."
"I'll leave Jiraiya-sensei in your care!"
Tsunade froze for a moment, glanced at Jiraiya, and was just about to speak—
When Minato activated the Flying Raijin and vanished.
They weren't far from Konoha, so the chakra cost wasn't high.
Sensing the Flying Raijin kunai he had left inside the village, Minato thought for a moment—
Then directly teleported into the Forest of Death.
