Chapter 1 - A Prisoner's Story Begins

It was a beautiful, sunny day in the Yordellez country. Beneath that sunny day, a policeman was walking to his station. He had a badge and his name, Alfred De Yordel, was written on it. He brought donuts on his way to the station. The station was near the market of the Capital city. He looked around at the people in the market with a pretty smile. Whoever was looking at him they bowed. He was a little bit of embarrassed, but he was happy as they weren't bowing of fear but of respect for him. After a while, he reached the police station.

"Good morning, sir." the other polices saluted him with a smile.

"Good morning, everyone." he sat on his chair in his cabin. He opened some files and signed them. Then he noticed a file. It had a name on it. It was "Prisoner-530". He grabbed the file and opened it and read it for a while. After reading some pages, he stood up with a shocked face and went to the solitary cell. He walked in a long corridor and stopped in front of the last cell, which was cell-444. He opened the cell and entered.

"Hello, there. How are you doing?" he said to a boy who was sitting on his bed. The boy had dark blue hair and sky blue eyes. He looked at Alfred.

"The name is Sergent Alfred De Yordel. What's yours?" he asked sitting on a chair. The boy said nothing.

"C'mon. As from the records I've read I know your name, but I wanna hear it from you my friend."

"I'm not your friend." the boy spoke up. "I'm a sinister, a killer, a foe."

"Okay then, let me tell you something. I was wondering why the court would give a 17 year old but a death sentence. So, I came to you. It's was better to hear about you from you than reading the files. Tell me why-why did you killed four man and a girl?" Alfred smiled.

"I didn't killed her!" the boy cried out loud. and punched the wall. "I didn't kill Zoe. She died saving a monster like me." he cried and tears were all over his eyes and cheeks.

"Then tell me, your story. I wanna know what happened."Al bowed a little towards the boy.

"Fine. I'll tell you but not from the start, but from the part where it all began.-" the started telling his story.

My name is Astra Lunaris. I am from the country of Vernon. I never knew my mother very well but I heard of her from my father. He used to praise of her beauty, her cuteness. He was with me till my seventh. After that, he passed away. But in this seven years i gained so much knowledge, the knowledge that even surpasses an adult brain. he trained me for something. Taught me every types of Martial Arts. He had a vast wealth and left those for me and told me something that a seven year old kid would never bear it. In his last moments, he made me two promises that has to be fulfilled before I die.

After nine years I came to this town and got myself admitted into the high school of Yordellia, the capital of Yordellez. I stood outside of my new class. I could hear the teacher saying,"Class, we have a new student in here today. Let's welcome him." I just sighed hearing that.

"You can come in now." she told me.

I opened the door and entered the classroom.I stood beside the teacher and ,my face wasn't being seemed to be that excited. But I got some encouragement when I first time saw her.Zoe, Zoe Von Yordel. She, had pink hair and blue eyes and was sitting in front of the second row, out of four and was smiling for some reason and that was enough to encourage me.

"Um, my name is Astra, Astra Lunaris. I'll be in your care from now. I hope you all accept me as your friend." I introduced myself, still, didn't even put a smiled.

"Astra, You may sit next to Zoe, the first row." the teacher said. I then noticed that the front seat was empty all along. I sat there and opened my bag. I brought out my book and started reading in my thoughts. But there was something that I was also noticing that Zoe was continuously glaring at me and smiling also.

"I might fall for you if you keep smiling at me, Zoe." I whispered to her.

"That'd be great, wouldn't it, Astra?"she calmly said and I also looked at her with a smile.

After a while, the teacher left the classroom. Zoe stood up and two other boys and a girl came to me. One of the boys had green hair and eyes and another had black hair and purple eyes. The girl beside Zoe had blonde hair and golden eyes.

"Yo!" the green haired on said. "My name is Alex Carter. This is my best buddy Daniel Reyes."

"You can call me Dani."Daniel told me.

"You've already talked with Zoe Von Yordel." Alex walked by my side. He went to the other girl."And this is our friend Rosa De Yordel.

"Hello, Astra."Rosa smiled.

"Astra?" Zoe called.

"Yeah?"

"Where did you come from. Cause we've never seen you here before."

"Yeah, I was gonna ask the same." Dani spoke.

"Well, I'm from Vernon."

"Vernon?" Rosa muttered.

"Yeah. The coastal country on the very West of Zerathis continent."

"Well, I don't think I've ever been there before." Rosa furrowed and put a finger on her lips.

"I've read in book about Vernon. It's a country with the lowest population." Dani said.

"It's because of the poor economical condition of that country."

"Hey, are your parents here in this country?" Alex asked.

"I'd rather not speak about them. Cause they are dead now."

"Oh, sorry, Astra. I didn't know."

"It's okay. Nobody could tell by only looking at my face." I smiled.

"So you live alone and came to this country alone?" Zoe asked and stepped closer to me. My smile almost fainted.

"They might have died but my father taught me how to live." We've talked a lot after that even if it's during the class or not.

After the school, Zoe and I were walking. We didn't knew that we'd become this close to each other. I learnt that Zoe didn't have a family. She's an orphan, like me. But she was raised by her aunt. Zoe wanted to know about my family that day and I only just said that I've never seen my mother and my father died when I was only seven. She felt pity on me. But I relaxed her. after walking a while we faced a crossroads. She went to the right direction and I turned left at the crossroads.

"I will hear from you about you, Astra!" she shouted looking behind me. Somehow, my emotionless face and heart felt something and I said that the time of that would be later.

After a while, the sun set. I walked to an abandoned warehouse. It was old but still it was standing still despite being locked up for about 10 years. The warehouse was made of bricks and it was roofed very well. There was a big boundary wall surrounding the warehouse. I entered through the front. On the left corner inside of that there was a table lamp glowing. It's ray was enough to fill that corner with lights. There was a chair, a table, some paper, little foods and a bread, some photographs of some men having red-cross-marks on them.

"Let's see. Maybe the time hasn't come yet."
