"I thought we could lure them in by acting pitiful, but the whole thing was a bust."

The tall one frowned, her voice full of disdain.
As she spoke, she viciously kicked a rock by her feet.
"They call themselves strong, but they don't even have the guts to speak up. What a total disgrace."
The taller one grew angrier as she spoke.
"Let's hurry up and find the next target. If we keep dragging this out, the Witch Master is going to tear into us."
She raised a hand to wipe her forehead, her gaze sweeping over the desolate woods around them. A flash of anxiety crossed her eyes.
The short one nodded.
"Sister, I'll be the bait next time, and you can ambush them from behind. Just like when we caught that stupid fox."
She even made a gesture as she spoke, a smug smile playing on her lips.
