The sun had barely risen when Raijin opened his eyes. He stretched lazily rubbed his eyes took a bath made a quick sandwich before getting ready. After locking his home, he stepped outside then he felt the morning breeze on his face. Today the ninja academy would finally start. He had passed the entrance exam just a week ago and the results had come in two days ago and he passed.
His house wasn't far from the academy around 200 meters away. He walked slowly, observing his surroundings. Parents were escorting their children. There was students form every clan Hyuga, Uchiha, Inuzuka, Nara, Akimichi, and Aburame some more.
There was also a pale looking child with long hair who was very composed and then there was a white haired child who was almost jumping from excitement.
'Two of the three sanin' he thought
He entered the academy and found the board. His name was listed under Class 1-B. He followed the corridor and entered the room it was almost empty just three students sitting at the front.
Raijin chose a seat at the back by the window. The classic protagonist seat.
Minute by minute, students filed in until the class was nearly full. He looked around, taking note of the unfamiliar faces.
'Well, looks like I'm not in the sanin class'
The door opened, and a woman stepped inside. She was about 5'3", wearing black pants that ended just below her knees topped with a standard chunin vest over a black top.
"Welcome to the academy my name is Shizuru Gekko and I'll be your class teacher. How about we get to know each other first. I'll tell you guys more about myself. I'm a chuunin of Konoha. My hobby is eating dango and like to teach young kids like yourself, how about you guys start to introduce yourself."
And with that all the kids started to introduce themselves. The ones from clans telling their clan with pride.
"Alright I'll be your teacher until you graduate. Now let me tell you what you'll be studying this year. First, physical training. Second chakra theory. And third, history which includes - Konoha's history, our allies, enemies, world geography, and the Will of Fire. I'll be teaching all of it for the next six years, so behave. Any questions?"
No one answered.
"Alright, then let's begin with chakra."
She looked around the class.
"What is chakra? Does anyone know?"
Several students raised their hands. She pointed to a Hyuga girl in the front row.
"Chakra is an innate energy that everyone has. But not everyone can use it effectively. To use it, you need to refine it."
"Good, sit down," she said.
Then she turned to the class and continued
"Chakra is the energy we need to perform jutsu. It comes from two sources: physical and spiritual. Physical energy comes from training your body and keeping it in shape. Spiritual energy comes from your mind, your willpower. When you combine these two with in your Chakra Pathway you can channel it to your hands or feet to perform incredible feats like walking on water or climbing trees with your feet.
"By using hand signs, you can convert chakra into Ninjutsu like fireballs, clones, or even Genjutsu that messes with your opponent's senses. But if you run out of chakra, you can't fight. Bottom out completely, and it's game over. That's why chakra control is just as important as how much chakra you have."
Raijin listened. He had already spent hours thinking about chakra, but hearing it from a teacher made it all feel real.
"Sensei where does chakra come from how does everyone has chakra" a student asked.
"There is no answer for why and for where does it come from no one knows exactly but there is a saying that thousand years ago a man named sage of six paths gave chakra to every human on Earth."
Students asked some questions and she answered and then lecture ended. After that she gave us a brief introduction About the academy about where is training grounds, libarary. We can learn D rank justu from it.
After the lecture, the students were dismissed. A few girls tried to start a conversation with Raijin, but he smiled politely and declined. There's only one love for now and that is grinding.
Not like he can do anything with the girls because his AK-47 is empty and it will take some years to have some ammo for it and not to mention his AK-47 currently is the size of a pistol.
The academy day ended after just two hours because today was the first day. Raijin decided to use his free time to train water walking.
He walked down to the Naka River to practice water walking. The first attempts were disastrous. He barely stayed afloat for a second before getting soaked in the water.
But by the end of the day, he could stay on the water for a total of four seconds.
'That's some progress at least' he thought.

Raijin lay down on his bed and stared at the ceiling thinking about what to do next
Alright… let's make some future plans.
First, I'll complete water walking within a Tweleve days… maybe even sooner.
He had already made decent progress, so this should be reasonable amount of time.
Next, I need to learn the Academy Three.
The Clone Jutsu, Substitution Jutsu, and Transformation Jutsu. After that the Shadow Clone justu.
Honestly, going to the academy is mostly a waste of time. He had already read the syllabus for the entire year. It was mostly introductory material. The academy didn't even start teaching the Clone Jutsu until the middle of the second year. Yeah… there's really no point in paying attention there.
And then there is Rasengan and the lightning release nature transformation. Damn… there's so much to do.
I should also learn some basic medical ninjutsu while at it. Medical ninjas were extremely convenient during fights.. Even knowing the basics could save his life someday.
Alright, let's organize this.
First: Water Walking should finish within a Tweleve days.
Second: Academy Three Techniques and Shadow Clone.
Third: Rasengan training.
Fourth: Lightning Nature Transformation.
All of that should take around a year.
Most of the time will go towards Rasengan and the nature transformation.
Then he thought I should probably grab some medical ninjutsu books from the hospital… I can read them during academy lectures.
With that, Raijin stood up and left the house and went towards the hospital. The Konoha Hospital wasn't exactly how it looked in the anime.It's kind of plain and not that big.
The building itself was somewhat bland.
The halls were filled with people rushing around in white coats. Nurses in pink uniforms walked back and forth, carrying files and medical tools.
He couldn't help but glance at them.
Those uniforms are… surprisingly tight in the right places. He quickly shook his head.
Focus.
Walking forward, he approached the reception desk.Behind it sat a man.
Raijin blinked.
Wait… a man?
Isn't reception usually a woman's job?
Still, he stepped forward.
"Hello."
The man looked up from his papers.
"Yes?"
"I want to learn medical ninjutsu."
The took three seconds and asked.
"What's your name, child?"
"Raijin."
"So, Raijin… what do you do?"
"I'm a student at the Ninja Academy."
"A student, huh…"
The man stared at him for a moment before bending down behind the desk.
A few seconds later
THUD.
Ten massive books landed on the desk. Raijin stared at them. Each book was thick as his fist. Some even bigger.
"These," the man said calmly, "are the basic knowledge you need before learning medical ninjutsu."
"That will be 2000 ryo."
Raijin blinked.
"They cost money?"
The man looked at him like he had just said something incredibly stupid.
"You thought they were free?"
"Well… yes."
"They're not."
He leaned back in his chair.
"So… do you have the money or not?"
Raijin sighed.
"Yes, I do."
He handed over the money.
After that, he grabbed the books and started walking home. Or rather he tried to.
Raijin looked down at them with a helpless expression. Damn… these things are almost my height.
