Nanny Vaughn had been so sure Aurora Sterling was the one causing trouble. Just moments ago, she had been whispering in Mrs. Sterling's ear about how Aurora couldn't compare to Sharon Dalton. But now, Aurora was standing there perfectly fine, while Sharon Dalton, surprisingly, was the one arguing with Rose White. Nanny Vaughn's face flushed then paled. She didn't know what expression to wear.
When Mrs. Sterling saw it was Sharon Dalton on the floor instead of Aurora Sterling, her furious expression softened slightly. At least it wasn't one of her Sterling family's children; if word got out, it wouldn't be nearly as embarrassing.
