When Julian Grant left the Sterling family's home, he cut a rather dispirited figure.
After staggering home, he first took a cold shower, then started packing his bags.
He hadn't seen his parents since the incident. They, in turn, didn't seem to think any explanation was needed. Even though he had been "missing" for three days, there wasn't a single phone call from them asking where he was.
Julian Grant had no idea how long he'd been packing when the electronic doorbell rang for quite some time. He finally snapped out of it and answered the video feed from the main gate.
The sight of the person standing at his gate was enough to sober him up almost completely.
"Just a moment," he said.
Julian Grant knew, of course, that Victor Morgan showing up at his door late at night wasn't for a friendly chat to catch up.
He was also well aware that Victor likely had no intention of setting foot inside his home, so he went out to meet him.
