The Black Snake was already terrifying enough for the crowd, but before that dreadful presence, it was as meek as a lamb—utterly insignificant.
Their minds went blank. At that moment, everything was terrifying—even the very air they breathed.
Suddenly, their eyes widened, a strange look creeping into their gazes.
For before the terrified Black Snake, a small Gold and Silver Snake had appeared out of nowhere.
The Snake seemed to defy gravity, floating ethereally and eerily before the giant Black Snake. Its Snake Gaze shimmered with a bewitching light as it stared, cold and impassive, at the massive serpent.
A snake that small, the Black Snake could have swallowed it in a single gulp. It wouldn't have even been enough to get caught between its teeth.
But the Black Snake was terrified. It didn't even dare to meet the small snake's gaze. Its massive, fifteen-meter body trembled uncontrollably, a fear that seemed to emanate from the very depths of its soul.
