There's a light at the end of the tunnel.
I mean it literally.
I can hear sighs of relief by Alpha and Khamsin as their walking pace quickened, desperate to get out from this place.
Finally, we got out.
It seems that we are in another oasis.
Thank goodness.
My body is covered all over with dark colored gooey stuff, same with the other two who began muttering all sorts of curses as they tried to examine the stuff.
Luck seems to smile at us as we are facing a beautiful, heavenly looking water in front of us.
Due to my excitement, Alpha gave me a grin as he ran in the direction of the water while carrying me then took a huge leap towards it.
With a big splash, both of us are submerged in the water.
Ah.....
It feels so good.
The water felt warm and comforting despite that it's evening and a cool breeze seems to engulf the place.
Alpha helped me remove my clothes when he suddenly remembered that Khamsin is with us.
He glared at Khamsin, who stared at me, and signaled for him to turn around.
Khamsin begrudgingly complied and tried to remove his own clothes also.
Alpha washed both my clothes and his, complaining that whatever it was that stuck on our clothes, it was hard to get rid of.
I don't want to know!
He seemed like he doesn't know though I can sense that he is trying to think what it was.
Please don't.
In an effort to distract him, I began singing a random song.
He perked up and sat down then he placed me on his lap.
Now he's making the situation worse as now I'm the one who definitely NEEDS a distraction as I'm feeling something.....
Something that is poking me on my back...
My voice wobbled as I continued to sing while he grinned at me, looking highly aroused.
He's a devil!
I can feel his hand caressing my leg gently, giving me goosebumps as he started to lick my neck.

Now my singing sounds terrible as I tried hard not to moan.
I elbowed him as I cleared my throat, telling him in an annoyed voice that I'm trying to concentrate on my singing.
He laughed heartily as his other hand started to caress my chest slowly...
Khamsin cleared his throat loudly, asking Alpha if we need privacy as he offered to go somewhere and will come back after we are done with...
Hearing Khamsin's words made Alpha laughed even harder that he stopped touching me.
It took him quite a while to stop laughing as he made a sorry effort of trying to tell Khamsin about something.
Khamsin suddenly turned around, his eyes in disbelief when Alpha told him that he can't go all the way with me without Lion's permission.
Alpha gave him a low growl in which Khamsin immediately returned to his former position.
Khamsin asked Alpha if it was just him that hasn't gone all the way with me as I have four mating marks on my body.
Alpha gave a huge sigh in which he told Khamsin that it's only Lion who I've gone all the way with.
Khamsin muttered something like how Lion is definitely lucky, making Alpha nod in agreement.
He asked Alpha if it doesn't bother him not going all the way with me and to my surprise, Alpha tenderly smiled at me as he told Khamsin that just holding me is more than enough for him.
I strongly disagree with that as whenever we are alone, he is one inch from losing control of himself.
Alpha told him that the pack had performed a blood bond some time ago and how Lion gave them permission on the amount of affection they can give me.
They continued to talk for awhile until I'm starting to get bored.
I wanted to get up but Alpha is embracing me tightly despite being engrossed in his conversation with Khamsin.
If it weren't for his erection that kept on poking me on my back, I would happily stay on his lap a bit longer.
To distract my thoughts, I tried observing my surroundings.
There's nothing to see except some weird looking desert type trees, the moons, sand dunes, more sand dunes, a weird looking swarm of what seems to be scorpion looking creatures flying towards....
AHHHHH!!!!!!
Alpha and Khamsin hurriedly transformed to their ultimate forms as they went towards the direction of the swarm that landed near us.
THEY ARE HUGE!
Based on their appearances, they seemed like wild predators which doesn't make our situation better.
In a flash, I hurriedly changed into my clothes and tried to find somewhere to hide.
There's nowhere to hide!
While I tried to move as far away from the scorpions as possible, Alpha wildly attacked the scorpions with his claws, slashing their bodies into pieces, splashing blood and guts everywhere.
Oh! He should avoid the tail as that's where the poison is located, that is if the creatures have the same body structure with the scorpions I'm familiar with.
Hmmm.. there's no problem if he does get exposed to the poison as lycans have natural resistance to poisons and even if they are not resistant to a specific poison, their body's natural ability to heal itself will eventually get rid of it.
Khamsin on the other hand, should avoid them as griffins are vulnerable to venomous attacks, especially if they are wounded.
Does he know that?
I don't think he does.
And he is a bit careless with his attacks.
I yelled his name to no avail as he was too engrossed in trying to attack the creatures.
What shall I do?
It would be a huge problem if he gets poisoned as we don't have any antidote.
I know some facts about griffins on how to distract them. The problem is choosing which one that would not make him angry at me.
Throwing stones at him? Not a good idea as I might hit him unintentionally.
Strong scents like meat, blood or perfume? Injuring myself on purpose this time will be insane as it might make our situation worse as the scorpions looked like they are starving and seeing their sharp teeth doesn't look inviting either.
And I don't have any perfume with me though perfume doesn't yet exist in this world. There's no need for perfume here as creatures and beings rely on smelling the natural scent of an individual to recognize them.
Which is helpful in case someone tried to use magic to copy your physical appearance. They can copy your physical appearance but not your scent.
Ah. That must be why Lion had a hard time realizing that he was sucking Subus' face before instead of me as I was also there inside his room.
But I don't recall Subus having a scent or I must've forgotten as it happened a long time ago.
Alpha wasn't there at that time as I haven't met him yet or else he might have a suspicion that something weird is going on.
Also, that must be why Orm easily realized that it wasn't me that they were talking to.
That must be why Subus made sure that I was around whenever she is talking with Sly back then.
Magic can be so scary most of the time.
Speaking of magic, that must be why the pack didn't recognize me back then at the pleasure house even though they might have suspicions with my face somehow familiar to them.
To be fair, a bit of my physical appearance was hugely altered though they should be suspicious as my height was still the same and also my face.
Natural scent plays a huge part in recognizing someone.
No wonder I kept having a weird smelling bath since it might prevent anyone from recognizing my scent. That is why no one managed to rescue a pleasure captive before.
But I'm amazed that Alpha had suspicions as he kept sniffing towards me when I entertained them.
Also, that must be why he was near the room where I was kept prisoner as not having a bath for quite sometime eventually revealed my natural scent.
I don't like to think about how I smelled back at that time. But it did help me as Alpha was at the right place when the door opened.

I slapped myself as I realized that I'm getting too distracted with my thoughts.
Good thing that Khamsin did not attack the tails yet so I should hurry up and try to think of something to distract him.
High pitched noises? I yelled at him earlier but he wasn't distracted.

I'm currently wearing my favorite earrings that I bought from one of the shops in the territory. It is deep purple and it's shaped like the violet jewel that they used as currency back at the territory.
I loved it a lot since the color itself is the color of the flower that has the same name as me.
Just no. Even though it is shiny especially if you try to position it properly under the moonlight.
But he is getting closer to the scorpion's tails!
It will be a huge problem if he does get injured!

But life is more important than material things so I have no choice but to use it.
I should persuade him in returning my earrings to me later but I don't have positive thoughts about that.
Just as he was about to attack the scorpion's tails, I hurriedly removed my earrings and positioned it properly under the moonlight.
It worked.
He gave a cry of wonder and delight while flying towards me.
Immediately, he transformed back to his regular form and oh heavens...

Of course he's naked as he was taking a bath when he transformed to his ultimate form!

He doesn't seem to notice me checking out his body as he tried to get the earrings from my hand.

I yelled at him, making him flinch then he looked warily at me.
I told him that he should be careful in attacking the scorpion's tails as it has a strong poison on them.
He widened his eyes as he slowly realized what I just did.
He thanked me for warning him and mentioned that he will use another way in attacking them.
And he still wants my earrings.
I bit my lip as I begrudgingly handed it to him in which he grinned at me and told me to place one of the earrings on his ear.
Surprisingly, he looked good with it.
As for the other earring, he grasped it tightly as a glow suddenly engulfed his hand. When the glow died down, he opened his hand and showed me that the earring turned into a ring.
He wore the ring on his finger then gave me a soft smile.
I told him that he better take good care of it as it was my favorite earrings in which he just looked at me tenderly and told me that he knows.

If he knows then why didn't he return it to me?
He suddenly whispered into my ear, telling me that he also knew that the color of the earring is the color of a flower that has the same name as me.

He just laughed as he returned to attacking the rest of the scorpions.
But this time, he is attacking them using his magic.

Since that time, he never took it off as far as I know.
I have to admit that it looks good on him.
Despite having several jewelry already, he loved the earring and the ring so much that the ear which I placed one of the earrings has no other earrings on it, not even an ear cuff. But he has several earrings and ear cuff on his other ear.
Same as the other earring which he turned into a ring. There's no other ring on that hand.
If Alpha was bothered with it, he didn't show it. Same with the others, especially Lion.

Finally, all the scorpions were killed by them.
When I mentioned that the scorpion poison is lethal and they should harvest it in case someone might be interested in trading for it, they enthusiastically harvested everything, including some of the scorpions' bodies that they didn't destroyed completely.
They have huge satisfied grin on their faces in which Khamsin told me that it was a good idea to harvest the poison as he will find a way to be immune to it.
That's actually a great plan!
Alpha exclaimed that he might use the poison instead in attacking some enemies that are too difficult to kill.
Not bad!

They are getting creative with their attacks.

This mission is the most ridiculous we have so far.
We still have no idea where to find the transformation stone.
To make things worse, we haven't explored the rest of the north.
And we haven't yet found the rest of the group.
This is so frustrating!
We had encountered several mirages and creepy buildings that had no signs of the rest of the group being there.
Alpha and Khamsin destroyed all of the cultists' towers and structures which turned out to be many.
Of course, there's no mercy for them as they didn't show any mercy towards their victims.

We decided to walk for a change. When I said we, it's Alpha and Khamsin who's doing all the walking as Alpha carried me in his arms as usual.
As usual it didn't bother me at all as they both took huge steps.
I noticed that they both have the same height as well.
Khamsin is older than Alpha though. But younger than Lion.
Now I'm reminded again of Bubu referring to Deus as her parent.

Lion doesn't seem old to me though we have a huge age gap between us.
And he looks good, real good that you will be surprised when you learn his true age.
Also his beauty is all natural, no magic at all.

We were just walking when suddenly, our environment changed.

There were sand dunes around us but now we are inside on what seems to be an underground cave though I'm not really sure.

As for Khamsin, he used his wind magic to find a way out, frowning when it seems that there's no exit at all.
Now both of them let out an extremely colorful expletives before remembering that I am listening to them.

I was busy touching the walls just in case there might be a hidden passage.

A simple trick just concealed it.
Slowly, we went down and yes, I'm walking this time as the ceiling is getting low that both of the males had to lower their heads while walking.
There's three entrances at the end of the passage. Which one should we choose to enter?
Alpha suggested that the three of us should stick together as being separated from each other might make our situation worse than before.
Khamsin nodded as he agreed, mentioning that he noticed that one of the entrances has a bad and foul smell from it.
Yeah, he's right!
After observing for quite some time, both Alpha and Khamsin agreed that they have a bad feeling from the other entrance.

Why does this situation reminded me of a certain fantasy movie scene?
Of course we went inside the remaining entrance which turned out to be a good choice as the surroundings looked cleaner and the air smells a bit fresher despite being underground.
Suddenly, we heard a sound of someone weeping.

It's not only me who's terrified as both Alpha and Khamsin moved closer towards me with terrified looks on their faces as they held their weapons with shaking hands.

Yes, it is understandable for us to be scared and jumpy as we haven't have proper sleep and we still haven't moved on from the incident where we fell inside a hole and landed on an unknown, squishy stuff that made some sort of a weird sound.....
