A warrior suddenly approached Khamsin and whispered into his ear, telling him about something that made him looked astonished towards me.
Somehow I felt that the warrior told Khamsin about the chaos Bubu and I caused earlier.
And I know why he looks astonished as Bubu and I were up against several giant warriors of his.
He's the mastermind of the kidnapping!
My displeasure towards him must've been clearly visible on my face as he hurriedly tried to explain to me that he is NOT the one who ordered our kidnapping.
In fact, the reason why he is here is to free us.
But while he was on his way, he suddenly felt sick as he admitted to me that he ate some nuts earlier.
I knew it.
He IS allergic.
The warriors and Bubu seemed to be needing a room in which both Khamsin and I sighed at the same time.
Okay, fine. I'll go with him.
But while we were on our way towards Khamsin's manor, I dropped my other earring on the ground on purpose. While Khamsin is busy scolding the other warriors who are getting too heated, I kicked the earring towards a corner where I know that it can easily be found by the pack.
With prayers inside my heart, I'm hoping that Lion and the rest of the pack will realize that Bubu and I are missing.

Khamsin's manor is luxurious. All sorts of treasures are everywhere in every corner as if he isn't afraid someone is going to steal it.
Soon, we were left alone as the warriors and Bubu instantly went somewhere after Khamsin gave them his permission.
After several moments of awkward silence, Khamsin cleared his throat and asked me what I want to do.
Of course, I asked him if I could take a bath in which he turned red instantly.
He apologized to me as he doesn't have any female clothing at the moment then began to yell someone's name in which a huge deserter that is taller than him, suddenly appeared beside him.
And you can guess how I reacted.
After several apologies from both of them, his steward immediately made me several kinds of clothes using his magic.
Ooohhh! I liked the designs!
Not bad!
Khamsin looked pleased at my reaction then told me that I can have it all.
I immediately thanked him before remembering that I have no bag to place the clothes inside when Khamsin told me that he has a room for me to stay.
Upon hearing his words, I thanked him for his offer but declined it as I told him that I have to go back to the inn to where I'm staying with my companions.
His steward must've noticed by now all my mating marks since Khamsin seemed distracted as he kept staring at my face.
Much to my dismay, his steward doesn't seemed to mind seeing all my mating marks. In fact, he looks weirdly pleased and whispered something into Khamsin's ear in which Khamsin nodded at him and gave him permission to leave.
Whatever it is, as long as I'm not involved, I don't really care.
Now I want to bathe.

Khamsin looked delighted after seeing me wearing the clothes that the steward made for me.
I also loved it as well as the clothes are so comfortable and looked very flattering on me.
Khamsin gave me a tour around his manor which is lovely though i wished that there is a garden of some sort.
They do have several trees that produces all sorts of nuts.
Still, it made me miss the garden back at Lion's castle.
The gardens at the palace isn't so bad too.
We sat down on a couch that Khamsin made out of magic.
It seems like he wants to have a conversation with me so I should not waste this opportunity on learning about the land as it will help me and the pack on our search for the transformation stone.

We made some sort of small talk at first in which he asked me what kind of creature I am. I decided to be honest and told him about myself though not everything.
He seemed fascinated and interested to learn more about me so I humored him and shared some stories about the adventures I had in this world.
It seems that our conversation was too focused around me so I asked him to tell me about himself.
He seemed happy that I asked about him then began to tell me about himself.
He is older than Ghost and Alpha, but younger than Lion. All his life he never went outside the city as there was no need as everything is handed to him instantly.
There goes my plan on asking him information about the land.
His father used to be the ruler of the city before he was attacked by an unknown in a far away territory. Even though he was still young at that time, Khamsin was forced to do the responsibilities of being a ruler. It was hard and definitely a lonely life for him.
Soon, he got used to it and just enjoyed his years in a leisurely pace until a lot of his officials began demanding for him to have an heir.
He admitted that he was terrified upon hearing the demands as he was used to being surrounded by males and only seldom seen females but have not talked to them, much more approached them in close proximity.
With a shy smile, he told me that talking to me is the first time he have a conversation with a female and it is a pleasant experience for him.
I see.
I don't mind having a new friend but let's just keep it that way.
And why is this conversation returning to me again?
I was about to ask him another question when a sudden memory came into my mind.
It couldn't be a coincidence.
I casually asked Khamsin about where his father was attacked by an unknown and hurriedly apologized when he looked grim.
He looked surprised upon hearing my apologies and immediately explained that he usually looked grim whenever he is thinking about something.
He wasn't sure about the name of the territory but he told me that his father was planning to attend an event in that territory when he met his unfortunate death.
No.
It couldn't be.
My heart began to beat fast when I asked him to describe the territory his father was going to. He looked curiously at me for a second but told me about it.
My intuition is correct.
Khamsin is Ghost's older half-brother.

Okay.
How should I tell this to Khamsin that he has a brother? Half-brother to be exact? And younger than him too?
Also, where is Khamsin's mother anyway?
Khamsin continued to tell me about himself which I eventually learned, that he was a result of a union between his father and a prostitute as the officials kept demanding for an heir. They don't mind if the ruler has no mate as long as there should be an heir.
And they are getting desperate now which is why Bubu and I got kidnapped, even though female kidnapping is normal, it is quite abnormal kidnapping a female within the city as they usually kidnap a female outside the city.
After learning what the officials, including his steward had done, he immediately went to where we are supposed to be imprisoned.
And that's where everything started.
Also, it revolved around me again.
Sigh.
Oh, yeah!
I then asked Khamsin about the story I heard about how the deserters used to dominate the world until something happened.
He gave a little shrugged and told me that deserters used to be plentiful as no matter what kind of species or class they mate with, it always ended up being a male deserter and very rarely, a female deserter.
But it's been a long time since they last saw a female deserter, not that they mind though.
That something happened when there's so many of them that all sorts of wars happened in the land that resulted in a lot of them being wiped out.
Also, the presence of several undead, monsters and other unknown creatures appeared that slowly dwindled their numbers.
Kidnapping female creatures and beings are getting harder for them too as the presence of a deserter in a territory will immediately alert its warriors and will constantly monitor them the entire time they are staying in the area.
The harsh environment also diminishes the female's chances of survival and ability to conceive.
They are a small fraction on what used to be a great civilization.
So in desperation, they go to prostitutes outside their land and made an agreement with them to have them carry their offspring. Of course if the price is right, the prostitutes immediately agreed. And that is how he was conceived.
Interesting.
I learned quite a bit but it's not enough.
I was about to ask him something else when we suddenly heard chaos from outside his manor.
Soon, a lot of warriors approached Khamsin and alerted him about something in which he immediately stood up and glanced towards me, giving me a little bow as he apologized, telling me that he has to go somewhere for awhile and will definitely come back as soon as he can to continue with our conversation.
He gave me a soft smile before leaving with his warriors.
Now that I'm alone, maybe it's time for me to look for Bubu and find a way to go back to the inn.

After quite sometime of roaming around, I finally found Bubu, who looked like she is finally satisfied after spending a long time with the warriors who are all knocked out cold around the room.
I am amazed that she has a high amount of energy, not to mention the endurance she has while having fun with all of them at the same time too.
As the warriors are all undressed as they were all knocked out cold, I unintentionally saw their huge erections and made a silent salute towards Bubu.
She is definitely a warrior in bed.

It's a good thing that Khamsin's steward made me several clothes as I gave some to Bubu to change into after she took a bath at the bathroom where I took a bath earlier.
Then after that, we tried to find a way to leave the manor when I realized that we are exposing ourselves and it would be much safer to stay in the manor for now.
I don't want to be kidnapped again.
Bubu doesn't seem to mind in which she asked me to accompany her in exploring the rest of the manor.
We were about to do that when we heard several yells and shouts then roars, snarls and loud growls that echoed throughout the manor.
Oh, I know these familiar sounds.

Bubu gave an amused grin towards me as we felt earthshaking crashes and heard sounds of spells being activated that resulted to several explosions.
Okay, I think this is enough as Khamsin didn't do anything to me. In fact, he was kind and I had a fun conversation with him.
I held Bubu's arm in which she grinned at me then we slowly went out to find chaos outside the manor.
As always, I am right as it is the pack who are attacking Khamsin and his warriors.
I don't want anymore chaos so I cheerfully called Lion in which the chaos immediately stopped.
In a flash, he immediately flew towards me and carried me in his arms, nuzzling me all over my face and neck as he kept asking me if I'm alright and how he was ashamed that it took quite sometime for him to discover that I'm missing.
After saying those words, he gave a look towards Bubu in which she immediately gave a yelp and hurriedly went back inside the manor.
I caressed his hair as I tried to calm him, telling him that I'm quite alright and that I'm glad to see him.
Upon hearing those words, Lion gave me little kisses all over my face, making me giggle in which I suddenly remembered that we are NOT alone.
After kissing Lion on his cheek, I cheerfully called the rest of the pack in which Lion handed me to Sly, who looked like he was about to cry. Instantly, he embraced me tightly as he apologized to me that he was too focused with the training as he was confident with the protection spell that Lion placed in our room.
After giving him a kiss on his forehead, I caressed his cheek and reassured him that I'm well and wasn't harmed at all.
After giving me a gentle bite on my shoulder, he handed me to Alpha while murmuring something about trying to punish Bubu for nullifying the spell.
I tried to tell him that Bubu didn't do it on purpose but Lion and Sly walked too fast for them to hear what I said.
Sigh.
Poor Bubu.
Alpha nuzzled me behind my neck as his grip towards me tightened, telling me that he was nearly out of his mind with fear upon seeing one of my earrings on the floor of our room at the inn.
It turns out that he was the one who found out that Bubu and I are missing as he was planning to take me somewhere within the city.
He immediately alerted the rest of the pack in which all of them began to panic as the memory of me being forced to work at the pleasure house still gives them nightmares from time to time.
Then all of them tried to find me within the city in which he found my second earring on the ground by luck.
After sniffing around, he finally smelled a faint scent of me and Bubu and began to investigate the area.
Confident that I'm around near the area where I dropped the other earring, he immediately alerted the rest of the pack.
Then we know what happened next.
Everything outside the manor are a mess in which I was about to tell the pack to fix it when I remembered Orm and Ghost, who looked excited to see me.
Alpha gave me a soft kiss before handing me to Orm. He reassured me that he will make sure that Lion and Sly won't harm Bubu too much.
No! He should make sure that Bubu isn't harmed at all!
Seeing my glare, Alpha chuckled as he told me that he understood what I'm trying to tell him then hurriedly went after Lion and Sly.
Orm looked at me tenderly as he kept caressing my face, telling me how much he missed me and how terrified he was when he found out that I'm missing. He held me tightly towards him as he placed his head on my shoulder.
He stayed like that for quite sometime until Ghost tapped him on his shoulder and told him that it's his turn, despite not being my secondary mate yet.
Orm reluctantly handed me to him in which Ghost began to squeeze me tightly that I nearly punched him on his face. Good thing I didn't though as I saw a tear falling down his cheek.
He whispered into my ear, telling me that he has something important to tell me as soon as everything gets settled.
Then continued to held me close to his chest when suddenly, I remembered that Khamsin and the warriors are with us.
They must be enjoying the show.
I glanced around towards them, expecting them to make fun of us but to my surprise, they looked like they were envious at seeing the tender display of affection between me and the pack.
Suddenly, I heard a tiny voice asking me if I forgot about him also.
I can hear Orm whacking someone using his tail, which turned out to be Deus.
Is he mad?
Oh, right!
I called Khamsin towards us in which I can feel Ghost tightened his grip on me.
Um.
It's getting a bit painful.
I nuzzled his neck in which Ghost started to relax as he began to look smugly towards Khamsin, who stared at me longingly as he approached us.
Then he stopped and asked me if I needed him for something.
Should I tell them what I realized?
I observed the two of them for a bit while they are busy glaring at each other.
They have a lot of similarities.
Also, if Ghost's eyes were red, everyone can tell that they are brothers.
Maybe.
With dozens of prayers to the heavens and a deep breath, I glanced at each of them and introduced them to each other.
Then in a soft voice, I told them that they are brothers.
