Huh.
I'm really dead.
Since Lion refused to move from the spot, Bahar finally put a spell on him in which he became unconscious.
Somehow, Sly obediently carried everyone on his back as Bahar held my dead body while Sly carried Lion on his claw.
And now I'm following them.
Somehow, it appears that my spirit cannot be separated from my body in a certain distance in which I felt myself being pulled towards them as they were on their way back to the ship.
Unfortunately, I saw Bahar licking the neck of my dead body.
He is a sicko.
Bahar glanced at me and gave me a wicked grin as he continued to lick towards my shoulders.
He is definitely insane and disgusting.
I tried to somehow push him away from my body in which a force seems to block my spirit from approaching him too near.
This is hell.
If I were alive, I would have puked a lot seeing Bahar enjoying himself in licking my neck and shoulders.
I wished someone would see him right now and put a stop into it.
Oh well.
I can't do anything about it since I'm a spirit.
....
There was silence in the ship as Bahar carried my dead body into one of the ship's empty rooms.
He told Sly to put Lion inside our room in which Sly followed without a word.
One by one, everyone except Bahar, went inside to their respective rooms as I heard sounds of sobbing and muffled cries.
I'm sorry, everyone.
While i was about to follow my body, I caught a glimpse of Alpha's face as he looks devastated.
Like someone pulled his heart out.
I felt my spirit being pulled towards my room in which I reluctantly followed.
Inside, I can see Bahar waiting for me with a wicked grin on his face, sitting down on a bed as he held my dead body close to his chest.
That maniac!
I wish I could hit him!
He continued to look at me with ravenous look in his eyes as he bit my neck hard that blood began to flow down.
Something in Bahar's eyes changed when he smelled my blood as he looked like he is about to taste ambrosia.
There's something weird about this kind of reaction.
Bahar slowly tasted my blood in which his eyes began to change color.
Both of his eyes entirely began to turn black.
This is scary but I can't do anything about it.
Soon, he began to suck hungrily as if he was starving.
I sent plenty of prayers to the heavens as I can't take it anymore watching him abusing my body, even if it's dead.
My prayers were answered as I heard the sound of footsteps in which Bahar hurriedly did magic, as if I wasn't touched by him.
He placed me on the bed as he quickly stood up and acted like he was mourning.
Lion came inside the room and sat on the bed, placing my dead body on his lap as he embraced me with a lifeless look in his eyes.
Thank goodness that Bahar decided to leave but not without me seeing him licking the corner of his mouth that was stained with my blood.
There's definitely something about him but I don't know what it is.
....
Tears kept on falling down on Lion's cheeks as he stared at the wall.
Then he began to nudge again my face, speaking softly towards me as he stroked my hair, caressing my face when he noticed something on my chest.
My mating mark with Lion slowly begin to fade.
Lion's eyes began to widen as he hurriedly looked at his chest in which his mating mark slowly disappeared.
I remembered his words telling me that death marks the end of relationship between mates.
I'm truly dead.
Lion began to pant fast as his body began to shake uncontrollably.
Oh Lion, I wish I could comfort you.
I felt intense pain looking at him, with one of his hand clutching his chest. His hand that was holding me tightened as he began to sob.
He buried his face into my hair, holding me tightly as his sobs begin to intensify.
....
Lion stayed in the room with me without eating or drinking.
He somehow put magic on the door in which nobody can go inside.
While lying down beside me as he held my dead body towards him, he continued to talk softly towards me, coaxing me to open my eyes and smile at him.
I don't know if it's a good thing that Lion somehow did magic on my dead body as it didn't decay. It really seems as if I'm sleeping peacefully.
Lion began to talk about our past memories together in which he started to sob uncontrollably.
Then he sat down again on the bed, holding my dead body as he began to sing a song in which tears kept falling down on his cheeks.
The song seems familiar until I recalled the sad song I sang while snowing.
Oh.
He remembered it. In fact, he must have watched me singing the entire song as he memorized everything.
After the song ended, he told me that he understood now the song and apologized to me that he kept me waiting.
He apologized all sorts of things that he did in which most are insignificant to me.
I wished I could hug him right now. I wished I could tell him that I'm here with him.
But I can't.
I can't even approach him.
All I can do is silently observing him, as he began to lose weight and his face looked like he was approaching death.
He just continued to embrace me, kissing my face and my neck, stroking my hair as he smiled towards me, telling me to wait for him for a little while as he is going to be with me soon.
He no longer cries but instead, looks happier as his appearance seems to say otherwise.
He sat down on the bed again while holding me in his arms, telling me his plans as soon as he joins me in the afterlife.
The afterlife?
But I'm not in the afterlife! I'm here with you!
I tried to scream but of course, he CAN'T hear me.
Wait, shouldn't I be in the afterlife?
I don't know how long I've been dead but why am I still here?
Also, why am I still attached to my dead body?
Shouldn't the dead spirits be roaming around or stuck in the place where they died? Not that I mind but still.
Then the wall suddenly exploded.
