In the darkest depths of the earth, a new life evolved, unlike other creatures, this being appeared from nothing, born from nothing, it had no purpose, no memory or cause, just there.
For a long time this unique rock-like entity did absolutely nothing, until a small ant tried to burrow through it. This seemingly small event caused a world shaking earthquake, eminating from this rock.
a powefull force pushed away all the rocks and dirt around the core, leaving a circular hole, with the core in the centre. So long after its birth, the core began to awaken.
Although its intelligence was weak, it began to float around its new home , seemingly inspecting everything, like a child with a new toy.
The ant that caused this awakening was laying at the bottom of the room, injured from the fall, it lay there, for only a short while before dying.

As soon as the ant died, a light glow appeared from its body as it died, this glow then merged with the core, which caused a slight change in the core, as if its intelligence and strength improved, if only slightly.
From this event the core found that this death was valuable to it, it searched for any other such small creatures we're around, it appeared the earthquake caused all the surrounding bugs to move around, as if trying to find somewhere safe, in doing so it lead to dozens of small ants and Beatles to be caught in the sight of the core.
With the cores little intellect, it decided to crush the bugs with its own body, chasing them down before falling onto them.
