Axhilliry Chapter: The World

The world is divided into four great kingdoms, each shaped by its land, its people, and the values it chose to protect. Trade routes connect them, borders separate them, and centuries of balance keep open war at bay. Most people live ordinary lives, unaware of how fragile that balance truly is.

Ironclad is a kingdom built on steel, discipline, and endurance. Its cities rise like fortresses, and its people believe that strength is earned through hardship. Soldiers and craftsmen are equally respected here, and swords are treated not just as weapons, but as symbols of responsibility. Life in Ironclad is harsh, but predictable.

Sunheaven lies to the south, where warm plains and open skies stretch endlessly. It is a prosperous kingdom known for culture, festivals, and education. Unlike Ironclad, Sunheaven values harmony over force, believing that order is maintained through unity and tradition. Many scholars and tacticians are born within its walls.

Frostveil stands in the cold northern lands, where survival itself is a test of will. The people of Frostveil are quiet, observant, and resilient. They do not seek influence beyond their borders, yet their warriors are feared for their precision and patience. In Frostveil, every action is measured, and every decision carries weight.

Verdantia rests in dense forests and fertile valleys, thriving on nature and adaptability. Hunters, scouts, and travelers often come from this kingdom. Freedom is valued above authority, and laws are flexible compared to the other realms. Verdantia changes with time, just as its lands do.

Though different in belief and structure, the four kingdoms coexist under unspoken agreements. Tournaments, trade, and diplomacy act as bridges between them, allowing rivalry without chaos. To most, this system feels complete—stable enough to last forever.

Wandering swordsmen exist outside these borders, owing loyalty to none. They travel the roads between kingdoms, carrying only their skill and purpose.

Among them is Kazuki, a young swordsman whose journey has yet to truly begin.
