When Arthur received help from the girl with the bow, he felt greatly relieved. Unexpectedly, the girl's archery skills were extraordinary, and no one else in the Kingdom of Janur could perform such techniques. Once the girl drew her bow, dozens of arrows killed the enemies surrounding her until all the enemies she faced were completely wiped out. Arthur's heart pounded as he watched the girl's amazing archery skills from a distance, but unfortunately, he couldn't see her face clearly.
After all the enemies were killed, the girl with the bow approached the other girl who had saved her twin brother, Aslan. When he saw her face up close, Arthur was captivated by her clear eyes and sharp gaze. She was very beautiful with light brown eyes, the same color as her hair. Arthur, who was usually cold towards women, felt his heart racing when he saw her, and he fell in love at first sight.
Now both girls had left without telling them their names, and Arthur felt a great sense of loss. He didn't know when they would meet the two girls again.
Crown Prince Aslan and Prince Arthur immediately called the names of their respective horses.
"Rai," Aslan called to his black horse, which immediately ran over and neighed loudly when it saw its master injured. The horse looked very worried.
"Rai, let's go back to the palace immediately. Don't look at me like that, I'm fine because the beautiful girl helped me. It's a pity she didn't tell me her name. Next time you meet her, treat her well because she will be your mistress too. You can smell her scent on my body, right? So remember her scent. When I finish my business at the palace, we will look for her," Aslan said at length.
Rai, who heard his master's command, nodded his head. Aslan always told his black horse everything he experienced because Aslan felt that his horse understood what he was saying. Sometimes Aslan poured out his heart when he was upset or had problems. Aslan patted his horse's back to make it run, and the black horse neighed and ran fast, carrying its master back to the palace.
"Yoru," Arthur also called his brown horse, which immediately ran closer. Yoru saw his wounded master and brought his nose closer, touching Arthur's wounded body and neighed softly. It seemed that the horse was also worried.
"Don't worry, I'm fine," said Arthur, calming his brown horse while stroking its head.
"Yoru, let's return to the palace as soon as possible," said Arthur as he climbed onto the horse's back. The brown horse sped off quickly, following the black horse in front of it.
Rai and Yoru were descendants of legendary horses that were very large and gallant, unlike ordinary horses. Legendary horses had easily recognizable characteristics; they had golden manes on their heads. Legendary horses only obeyed their masters, and no one else could control these two horses.
Legendary horses also had other abilities. They could hear their master's call from a distance and could run very fast, faster than ordinary horses. Even ordinary people who saw the horses running would think they were just black shadows. If they used ordinary horses, it would take a week to travel from the dark forest to the palace, but with legendary horses, it would only take three days.
Crown Prince Aslan and Prince Arthur continued to spur their horses to run faster because they wanted to get to the palace quickly. It was getting dark and they had not yet passed a village where they could rent lodgings. When they passed through an open area of the forest with a river nearby, they decided to rest and set up a tent so they could sleep and rest their horses. While making dinner, Aslan and Arthur remembered the two girls who had saved them.
"Brother, what do you think of those two girls?" asked Arthur as he roasted the wild chicken they had caught for dinner.
"They're both amazing, especially the girl who stitched up my wound. She's very skilled in medicine; even the royal physician wouldn't be able to perform such a technique. You could say that girl is a genius in medicine. I even felt my internal injuries improve after taking her pills," said Aslan, thinking of Jena and smiling slightly.
"Yes, the girl who uses a bow is also very talented and very beautiful. I think I'm falling in love with her," Arthur muttered frankly, surprising Aslan.
"Are you sure it's love? I think you're just curious about her because of her skill with the bow," replied Aslan.
He knew his brother was cold towards women. Many women had sent him love letters and marriage proposals, but Arthur had rejected them all. Because of this, Arthur preferred to be on the battlefield rather than in the palace facing women who made him sick.
"No, I'm sure in my heart. That girl makes me feel comfortable when I'm around her. My heart also flutters when I see her," said Arthur, confident in his feelings.
"Hm, it's good that you can actually like women. I thought you would remain single forever and make our parents worry," said Aslan indifferently.
"Tsk tsk, you're just like me, brother, so don't tease me," replied Arthur, rolling his eyes.
"Do you like the healer girl?" asked Arthur curiously.
"Hm," Aslan only muttered and did not answer Arthur's question. He took the cooked grilled chicken and ate it calmly. Arthur, seeing that his brother did not answer, just shrugged his shoulders and ate calmly as well.
In Kuji Village, Jena and Jeslin arrived home in the afternoon. They brought wild vegetables, fruits, and two large rabbits. Jena hadn't found anything to sell, but now they didn't need to worry because they had earned a bag of gold coins for saving someone. The gold coins were more than enough to build their house, buy supplies for the winter, and purchase land.
Jena and Jeslin found their father daydreaming alone in his room.
"Dad, why are you daydreaming?" asked Jeslin as she kissed her father's cheek, followed by Jena. They came into the room carrying apples they had picked in the forest.
"You're back? You were out for so long, Dad was lonely," complained Jiro as he looked at his two beautiful daughters.
Jeslin giggled when she heard her father's complaint.
"Dad, you were with Mom all day, why did you have to wait for us to come home? You and Mom should make us another sibling so this house isn't so quiet. So we played to give you and Mom plenty of time to have fun," said Jeslin without filter, making Jiro very embarrassed.
"What are you saying, Jeslin? Aren't you embarrassed to have another sibling?" asked Jiro curiously, even though his face was still red.
"Why should we be embarrassed, Dad? We'd be happy to have another sibling, right, sis?" said Jeslin, looking at her sister.
"Hm, what Jeslin said is right, Dad. We want to have a younger sibling, so please make us another one. Whatever gender it is, we will accept it," Jena replied casually while focusing on peeling an apple to give to her father.
Jiro ate the apple given by Jena. The fruit tasted very sweet and fresh, making Jiro eat it enthusiastically.
