Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Leisurely Vacation Time

Jack gave the worried Natasha a light kiss.

"I didn't inject any drugs. But there's a surge of energy in my body that I can slowly absorb to grow stronger. Look."

Natasha stared at the nightstand Jack had crushed with his bare hands, disbelief filling her eyes. Then, blushing, she leaned close and whispered her next question into his ear.

Jack burst into triumphant laughter when he heard it.

"No. That's because I'm naturally gifted. It might have a slight effect, but it mostly depends on talent. Even if I can't go all the way right now, you're still my wife, and I'll definitely find a way to heal you. Like I said, it'll just take time."

Natasha's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Jack, if you can make me a complete woman, I'll even help you chase other wives if you want."

Jack smiled confidently.

"That won't be a problem at all—but it really will take a few years."

After hearing Jack's firm answer, Natasha ignored the sensitivity period from the safflower oil and wanted to sneak in some dessert puffs.

Jack stopped her. Although he wanted to as well, he pointed toward Wanda's room.

"Wanda seems off today. I'm going to check on her."

Natasha rolled her eyes.

"Isn't that your fault? You actually tricked Wanda into using safflower oil to reduce swelling."

Jack slapped Natasha's plump ass as she sat on him.

"That's not the point. When Stark Tower was mentioned earlier, Wanda's emotions became unstable. She looked… flustered and full of hatred."

Natasha frowned.

"I checked Wanda's files today out of curiosity. I didn't find any recorded grudge between her, her brother, and Stark Industries."

Jack pretended ignorance.

"I'll go upstairs and take a look. You rest well today too. I promise I'll make you whole in a few years."

"If you can't handle it, call me," Natasha said teasingly. "I'm a Level-6 Agent, my dear Level-1 Agent. Mwah~"

Jack knocked and entered Wanda's room, only to find her sitting on the bed, quietly wiping away tears.

Seeing such a beautiful wife crying made Jack's heart ache. A girl who was pure, seductive, and sweet—what man wouldn't feel distressed?

"Wanda, tell me—do you have a grudge against Stark Industries or Tony Stark?"

Jack gently hugged her from behind and pulled her onto his lap. Wanda obediently turned and leaned against him.

With Wanda's soft, fragrant body pressed to his chest, Jack forced himself to suppress his urges and focused on the conversation.

"Wanda, if there's anything bothering you, tell your husband. If you hate Stark Industries, I'll take you to get revenge."

Wanda wiped her tears and began recounting her childhood.

Jack listened quietly. Even though he already knew, he still hugged her tightly afterward.

"Wanda, let's go to Afghanistan and rescue Tony Stark."

Wanda froze mid-sob. A faint red glow began to leak from her body.

"Wait—listen to me first," Jack said quickly.

Wanda suppressed her temper and lay back against his chest.

"Go on. If I'm not satisfied, I'll—!"

Her cheek pressed against him, her voice slightly muffled, but her hand firmly grabbed his weak spot.

Jack swallowed hard, feeling the warmth and the faint red glow against his ribs.

"We rescue Tony Stark first… then kidnap him."

"We interrogate him until he spits out everything he knows. Then we expose all his black-market deals to the world."

"After that, we keep him in a cage. Whenever you feel like it, we drag him out and whip him a few times."

"If you want, you can personally pluck his lychees. When you're bored, we can dismember him and mail the pieces to his relatives—though he barely has any. We can send his fingers and arms to his loyal butler instead."

"Killing is the lowest form of revenge."

"Making him suffer, understand pain, and become pain—that's true revenge."

Wanda nodded slowly. Her grip unconsciously tightened.

"Oh—fuck! My rib! Wanda, easy!"

She hurriedly let go and checked him, sighing in relief when she saw nothing wrong.

"Wanda, you almost ruined your future happiness. Hurry up and apologize to him."

Wanda smiled sweetly.

"Then I'm truly sorry, my dear husband."

That smile made Jack's heart skip—and even his ribs tremble.

Downstairs, Natasha suddenly felt a familiar surge of energy and appeared beside the bed where Jack and Wanda were pressed together.

Wanda waved her hand, and the bedroom door slammed shut.

Aunt May opened a window and stared at the time in disbelief.

"Oh my god… they've only been back for less than half an hour. How did they start this fast?"

"Peter, don't sleep with the window open tonight. There are too many bugs."

…Noon.

Jack and Aunt May went to the office, signed the lease contract, and found a renovation company. They finalized the overall style that day, leaving Aunt May in charge of supervision.

On the way, Jack checked in at Stark Tower.

[Today's check-in successful. Obtained: Jericho Missile ×1]

That evening, Jack, Wanda, and Natasha boarded a flight to Afghanistan.

Natasha was still a semi-Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and she was already scheduled to go to Afghanistan to search for Tony Stark.

Now that she knew Jack could repair her body and let her become a mother again, her heart was no longer with S.H.I.E.L.D. Despite Nick Fury's repeated urging, she chose to go with Jack.

Jack booked a luxury passenger jet to Dubai, reserving a sky residence suite—one bedroom, one living room, one bathroom. The three of them could squeeze together, even sleep sandwich-style.

The flight lasted over ten hours. Jack had no intention of suffering through it.

After all, the money wasn't his. Once they found Tony Stark, money would be as easy as breathing.

On the plane, Jack and Natasha helped Wanda practice controlling her Chaos Magic.

"Wanda, lift the plate and keep it floating steadily."

The plate rose—but shook violently.

"Keep it steady. This is essential training."

Jack took a bite of food and fed another to Wanda.

"Try controlling the energy with your mind alone. No hands."

"I'll try."

As soon as Wanda withdrew her hands, the plate began trembling violently.

"Jack… I can't. Once my hands are down, the energy goes wild."

Jack rubbed his chin.

"Sit down. Mobilize the energy slowly."

Wanda sat and focused.

Red energy swirled around the plate, shaking constantly.

"She still can't fully control it," Natasha observed.

"Slowly," Natasha advised. "Control a tiny amount first."

Wanda drew out a hair-thin strand of red energy and guided it around the cabin.

"Good. Increase complexity gradually."

Jack stuffed a dessert puff into Wanda's mouth. She nodded with a muffled mm-hmm.

Ten minutes later, Wanda was drenched in sweat, and Jack made her stop.

"Any discomfort?" Natasha asked.

"My body and head are tired. Nothing else."

Jack handed her water.

"Rest. No rush."

Wanda nodded, cheeks puffed.

Since this wasn't home, Jack didn't fill the puffs with cream. That was reserved for later.

After reaching Dubai, Natasha transferred to Afghanistan.

Jack took Wanda sightseeing in Dubai for a week before heading to Afghanistan—Tony needed time to build the arc reactor.

Upon arrival, Jack followed Natasha's intel and drove off in an armored vehicle.

He drove straight toward the coordinates provided by the system.

In the back seat, Wanda practiced her Chaos Magic.

Over the past few days, her control had improved dramatically.
