Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Adored by Thousands? What Does That Have to Do With This Ruthless Studying Machine?

There are four types of teaching:

Absent-minded (100 experience points per person), Effective (500 experience points per person), Immersive (1000 experience points per person), and Earth-shattering (5000 experience points per person).

The specific experience gained varies slightly depending on the situation, but not by much.

To successfully copy a Gold-quality specialty, Snape needed to pay a massive sum of 500,000 experience points!

White quality required only 10,000 experience; Blue required 50,000; Purple required 100,000.

As for the Red specialty that ranked above Gold, it required a whole 1,000,000 experience points to copy!

Snape had speculated early on.

Once he successfully developed a spell unique to himself in the future and spread it widely among Hogwarts students, this method would inevitably harvest a steady stream of massive experience for him.

But for now, this was clearly just an unrealistic fantasy.

For a long time to come, teaching magic to other students on a small scale was the main way for Snape to gain experience!

Lily would be an excellent student.

Especially with the blessing of her own specialty, she obviously had exceptionally outstanding talent for potions!

**[Master Craftsman - Gold: You are naturally dexterous and can easily perform delicate operations that many cannot, often resulting in better effects!**

**The effect of all potions/alchemy items made by hand is permanently +50%!]**

This was an ability that made Snape drool with envy.

If he could copy it onto himself, who already possessed the *Artisan's Insight* specialty, the resulting effect would definitely be greater than the sum of its parts!

Therefore, in Snape's newly formulated plan, one item was to gain enough experience from Lily within two years.

Although he didn't hope to save up the 500,000 experience gap all at once, he should at least do his best!

It would be a long process.

But it didn't matter; Snape had plenty of time.

A gentle breeze blew.

Snape and Lily sat facing each other under the willow tree, a fierce battle of Wizard's Chess unfolding between them!

"Hey, you stupid woman, do you know how to play at all? My subordinates are all dead!"

The chess piece representing the King shouted in exasperation.

It made Lily hurriedly put her hands together and apologize repeatedly.

However, under the leisurely command of Snape opposite her, she was finally forced into a corner. Under Lily's despairing gaze, the King was dismembered by a Knight's sword. The shattered crown bounced to Lily's feet, as if it were a silent accusation from the King before his death!

"Lose one game, study for one hour. You already owe me exactly 5 days. When do you plan to pay it back?"

Hearing Snape's words, the despair on Lily's face instantly deepened.

She was wrong.

She only thought magic was interesting, but forgot that the pain of learning is universal.

Whether at Hogwarts or any random school in the Muggle world, every student with ambitious goals would put on a mask of pain shortly after enrollment!

What was even more terrifying was that there was a devil, who she clearly had a lot of fun playing with, supervising her all the time, making Lily feel guilty even if she occasionally wanted to slack off.

*Lily, oh Lily.*

*Severus is sacrificing his own time to urge you to study. How can you be so ungrateful?*

Sighing deeply, Lily obediently picked up *One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi*, trying hard to stuff the slippery knowledge into her brain amidst Snape's lecturing.

The only thing Lily felt fortunate about was this:

Snape clearly had extraordinary attainments in teaching others.

With a casual wave of the wand in his hand, ink-like colors transformed into vivid plant specimens, making his explanations much more lively and interesting.

**[You completed an effective teaching session for 1 person, gaining a total of 560 experience points!]**

Stopping the lecture.

Snape looked at Lily, who couldn't hide the envy in her expression, laughed softly, and then generously handed his wand over.

"Want to try? Just as I said, maybe my wand doesn't suit you."

"Is it really okay? This is something very important to you, isn't it?"

Lily carefully observed Snape's expression, but all she saw was sincerity.

"Would you betray me, or even kill me, Lily?"

"Of course not! We are best friends; I wouldn't hurt you even if I died!"

"In that case, what do I have to worry about? Take it."

Her expression gradually became firm.

Lily meticulously wiped her hands on the corner of her clothes before taking the wand Snape handed over, staring entranced at the gorgeous and mysterious carvings on it.

"A wand is a necessity for all wizards. Before you enroll in Hogwarts, a professor will definitely take you to Diagon Alley to buy one.

Actually, if you ask me, I can advance you the money. That way you can try many spells yourself instead of watching my dry demonstrations."

"You are a very, very good friend, and you have helped me a lot.

I don't want to lose our friendship.

But if I only know how to take, our relationship will become distant sooner or later, won't it?"

Lily's voice was full of frustration and worry.

Snape knew this was because of her sister Petunia.

Although Lily made amends under his guidance after that day, her relationship with Petunia still uncontrollably became distant and estranged.

And for this girl who had lived in Cokeworth since childhood, Snape had now replaced Petunia's original position, becoming her closest friend!

With the tragedy of the previous example, Lily obviously valued her friendship with Snape immensely.

No matter how he persuaded her, she refused to take credit to get her own wand in advance!

Watching Lily excitedly trying his wand, trying hard to make sparks spray from the tip.

Snape also felt a bit emotional.

With such sincerity and courage, no wonder Lily would become the darling of the Order of the Phoenix and adored by thousands at Hogwarts in the future.

But what did that have to do with him?

Right now, he was just a ruthless machine urging her to study!

Ignoring Lily's begging face, the cold Snape soon began teaching the next subject.

The years were quiet and good.

Reflected in Lily's eyes, apart from the boy's face, there was nothing else.

And so, amidst such fulfilling and happy childhood times,

Two years passed in a flash
