The sound of footsteps came from the village, and an old man appeared. The moment he appeared, Wang Li could sense a thick blood smell radiating from the figure. Without being a Martial Genesis Realm he couldn't sense this, it was clearly intent based on the path of slaughter.
"Hello young man! It is getting late. Do you want to enter our village and get some rest?" The old man had a kind smile.
But this didn't evoke any reaction from Wang Li.
"Okay! I'm also tired. Its not a bad idea to get some rest before setting off tomorrow morning." Wang Li replied calmly.
"Where is the young hero going? You even dare to travel alone?" The old man probed.
"Just visiting home to celebrate my entry into a sect and also handling some cause and effect." Wang Li replied without much change in expression.
But the old man's mouth twiched when he heard him mention cause and effect.
'This young men nowdays like to talk big. What cause and effect? Does he even understand what this means. Well, it doesn't matter. Since he has some ability to join some sect, his blood energy shouldn't be small.' a deep malice emerged from the old man's eyes.
"This way young hero!" The old man led him to a small bamboo courtyard.

"Just some drink should do! Other than that I hope not to disturbed, I'm tired and meed rest." Wang Li replied calmly.

He took out the small bag Wang Lu had given him. His essence gathered in his hand, forming a thread of blue landing on the bag.
Just like that, all that was in the small bag opened.
He turned the bag over, and shook it causing many bamboo and jade slips to fall from it.
He picked up three and put them on the table. They had some identification on them.
"Let's focus on this for now." He returned everything else into the bag.
Opening one of the jade slips, he skimmed through and before even gaining anything, the old man's voice sounded.
"Young hero! Your drink is here!"
Wang Li walked to the door and collected the drink from the old man before taking a sip.
"Indeed! Not bad." Seeing his actions the old man's eyes lit up.
He was wondering how to have him drink, but now he wasn't worried anymore.
What he didn't know was the moment Wang Li drank that sip, a strange manovelent force was stripped into a unique energy.
The energy flowed towards every corner of his body and the black sea manifestation inside him formed all around the body churned.
The result was the energy being fused with the sea.
Though only slight, he felt a minuscule improvement in his accumulation.
Looking at the old man he smilled slightly and said, "Nice drink!"
"I won't bother young hero anymore. You can have some rest." He turned to walk away.
In his mind though, he was cursing Wang Li for being a fool.
'Since you have taken this drink, you will indeed sleep all you want and never wake up again.'
Watching the old man walk away, Wang Li closed the door and went back on the table.
He took up the jade slip and started to review the information from it slowly while sipping the poisoned drink calmly.
"Interesting! Ancient Inheritance is indeed something from some heretics. They dared to do such things that defy fate so early in thier cultivation. No wonder this path was already replaced."
Even though Wang Li was saying this, his expression was completely hooked.
