Chapter 6 - Ep 6

Lin Yue stood frozen at the entrance of the cave, his eyes slowly sweeping across the space before him. The walls were jagged stone, uneven and damp, with faint traces of smoke clinging to the ceiling. A few animal skins were spread roughly on the ground, but there was no table, no chair, no bed—nothing that resembled a proper place to live.

People… lived here?

The realization hit him like a silent blow. His chest tightened, and disbelief flickered across his face. He had imagined many things about this world, but never something so primitive, so bare. Instinctively, he turned to Feng Lihan.

Feng Lihan stood calmly near the cave wall , his posture relaxed, as if this cave were no different from a palace. Seeing Lin Yue's expression, he raised an eyebrow slightly, but said nothing.

Just then, an unmistakable sound echoed through the cave.

Grrr—

Lin Yue stiffened. His hand pressed against his stomach too late. The growl was loud, pitiful, and impossible to ignore. His ears burned with embarrassment.

Feng Lihan heard it clearly. For a brief second, he was stunned—then he laughed. The sound was low and warm, carrying an ease Lin Yue hadn't expected.

"So," Feng Lihan said with amusement, "you're hungry."

Lin Yue looked away, his lips pressed together. He didn't answer, but his silence was answer enough.

"Wait here," Feng Lihan continued, already turning around. "I'll make you something."

Before Lin Yue could respond, Feng Lihan had left the cave. Left alone, Lin Yue sat down slowly, his fingers curling into the animal skin beneath him. Hunger gnawed at his insides, sharp and relentless. He had no idea how long he had gone without food, but now that it had been noticed, the sensation became impossible to ignore.

A short while later, footsteps sounded again.

Feng Lihan returned, holding something in his hands.

Lin Yue lifted his head—and froze.

It was meat. Fresh, red, and unmistakably raw. The smell of blood filled the cave as Feng Lihan placed it in front of him without hesitation.

"You can eat this," Feng Lihan said simply.

Lin Yue stared at the wild boar meat ,His expression cracked. His lips twitched, and his face slowly twisted how can I eat this.

"…What?" he said.

Feng Lihan looked at him, puzzled. "Wild boar. Just hunted today. It's good meat."

"You want me to eat it like this?" Lin Yue asked, his voice rising despite himself. He pointed at the raw flesh, his entire body recoiling.

Feng Lihan tilted his head, clearly confused. "Is there a problem?"

Lin Yue swallowed hard. In his world, meat was cleaned, cooked, seasoned. This—this was something only beasts ate.

"I can't," Lin Yue said firmly, shaking his head. "I'll get sick."

For a moment, Feng Lihan studied him in silence. Then, unexpectedly, a small smile curved his lips.

"You're troublesome," he said, not unkindly. "Fine. I'will fing you some fruit.

Feng lihan oh i forget you are a rabbit you can't eat meat ,

Lin yue, i can eat but not like that .

Lin Yue's tense shoulders finally relaxed, relief flooding his eyes—though he quickly looked away,

Feng lihan He picked up some fruits from the forest and brought them to a leaf.

Feng Lihan was already watching him with a deeper interest than before.
