Chapter 18 - 18: trying to become a dragon as quickly as possible.

[Roar of the Sky Dragon].

Explosion.

[Fang of the Sky Devourer].

Explosion.

[Wings of the Sky Dragon].

Explosion.

[Claws of the Sky Dragon].

Explosion.

Near a mana zone quite far from Hage Village, powerful wind attacks frequently shatter the air.

[Great Demonic Spiral].

Explosion.

[Fura], [ul Fura], [al fura].

With a final gust of wind.

Everything within a 2-kilometer radius was devastated.

Everything turned to dust. Animals, wood, trees, rocks, everything was reduced to dust.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha," labored breathing is the only sound heard within a 2-kilometer radius.

"I've been in this mana zone for two weeks now."

"I need to accelerate my dragon transformation as soon as possible."

"I don't want to have to go through menstruation every month."

"According to my hypothesis, if my physique transforms into that of a dragon, my menstrual period will only happen rarely for 10 or 20 years, maybe longer."

"Irene Belserion was pregnant with Erza for almost 400 years in dragon form."

"Which means that menstrual periods may be quite rare and occur infrequently."

"Even if I can't transform into a dragon, I at least need to reach [Dragon Force] to accelerate my transformation."

"Although Wendy achieved her [Dragon Force] at age 12."

"That was only possible because she absorbed a large amount of clean air and arrived from Ethernano."

"I still haven't found a wind mana zone or a place with large amounts of non-attribute magic to consume."

"All I can do is keep searching for her while accelerating the transformation as much as possible."

2 months later.

Swallow, swallow, swallow.

A large amount of air and air magic is being absorbed.

"Come on, I have to get it, the [Dragon Force]," Wendy thinks with all her might.

"What's wrong? For some reason, no matter how hard I try, I can't get into the [Dragon Force]."

After about 15 minutes, the magic absorption stopped.

"Roar of the Sky Dragon!" A column of air shoots powerfully and swiftly into the sky.

The column of air disappears after 2 minutes.

"Haaaa, it seems I'll have to go to the Diamond Kingdom to get magic stones, steal them from a noble house, or order them."

"This is very troublesome. Is it because I still don't have a grimoire, or is it because the quality of the magic isn't high enough?"

"Maybe if it's like the magic of a dungeon, or when Yuno enters his spiritual assimilation."

"But that would be almost three years of waiting, plus my period."

"Why did my period start at the earliest age it can? It would have been fine if it had started when I was 14 or 15." Wendy's tears fell to the ground as she knelt, gazing at the clear sky.

"But right now I can't find the magic stones, ancient dungeons, and there aren't any spirit users in the Clover Kingdom."

"But I can't give up." With a leap, Wendy stood up and continued searching for a fire mana source, hoping to find Mereoleona Vermillion to practice with.

After all, Fairy Fail magic is strengthened by intense emotions like love and the will to die.

In a fight where you're forced to grow, it's the best way to enter [Dragon Force].

Both Natsu and Wendy entered [Dragon Force] to protect their friends in a crisis.

First, Natsu, by eating a large amount of magic crystals for a partial [Dragon Force], and then Wendy by absorbing a large amount of air containing large quantities of ethernano.

So, I absolutely need to consume a large amount of magic after almost exhausting all my mana reserves.

Then, I have to eat an amount greater than my mana reserves in a short period of time to access [Dragon Force].

And maybe I can obtain the fire element from Mereoleona.

Who knows if, after getting a grimoire, I can acquire another magic element?

And so, I continue my journey to become a dragon.

3 days later.

"Wendy, lately you've been disappearing and reappearing constantly for days at a time. Where do you go?" Recca asks curiously.

"I go to mana zones to train and become a strong person in the future," Wendy replies, hanging from a hammock in the church garden.

"I heard from Sister Lily that those places are dangerous and that only magic knights can go there safely. Are you okay on your own?" the young Recca asks.

"I'm fine. I've been doing it for two months and I've come back in one piece. I'm very strong," I say, waving my hand to show I don't think much of it.

That's right, I go back to the church whenever I feel alone in the mana zone.

I'm a homebody and I don't like being away from the places I consider home.

I think I inherited it from my past life. In my previous life, my aunt lived three houses away from my grandmother, my other aunt lived six blocks away, my grandmother's brothers lived next door and across the street from my grandmother's house, and my mother lived next door to my grandmother.

They all lived close to each other; I think it was a family thing.

And I brought that habit into this world.

It's both good and bad. I'll never be truly independent, and I'll always have an emotional attachment to certain places.

But if a new place feels right, my laziness won't let me leave, and I'll only visit once every two months at the most.

I'm a homebody and a lazy person.

Although I'm very diligent in my training—after all, it's my life insurance.

But I do take breaks. As Master Roshi said, "You have to work, you have to learn, you have to eat, you have to rest, and you also have to play."

So I only train 6 days a week, and on Sundays I sleep until noon.

As for finding Mereoleona Vermillion...

Nah, let fate decide. If I don't find her, I'll just disguise myself and attack a Crimson Lion Magic Knight and secretly eat his fire.

It's not that big of a deal.
