Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Glutton Yangyan Menghuo, air battle!

"Wohoo!"

Aemond happily waved his hands, and Aegon tightened his seatbelt for him.

"Be careful, don't get too excited. You'll have your own Dragon in the future, I promise!"

"But what if I can't tame the female Dragon you mentioned?" Aemond asked worriedly.

"Silverwing is very gentle and basically won't refuse any Targaryen blood.

Of course, even if you don't tame it, it doesn't matter. It just means you have a fated Dragon."

Aemond pursed his lips and didn't speak. Aegon also fell silent. Only the whistling wind echoed in their ears.

"Hiss!"

Just then, Sunfyre suddenly let out an uneasy roar.

Aegon frowned.

Although Sunfyre was only eleven years old, its body length was a full twenty-two meters, twice that of Dragons of the same period. Why was it so anxious and restless?

Just as Aegon was about to have Sunfyre descend, the sky suddenly turned dark!

To be precise, the sky didn't turn dark, but a shadow enveloped him!

"What the hell, don't tell me I'm this unlucky?"

Aegon had a look of utter disbelief on his face and looked up. As expected, he saw a huge Dragon shadow above the clouds!

At this moment, Aemond's face was pale with fright. He tightly gripped the Dragon saddle and shrank hard into Aegon's arms.

"Don't be afraid, hold on tight!"

Aegon comforted him and, without hesitation, steered Sunfyre to dive down towards the sea below.

And just as Sunfyre was diving, a colossal creature tore through the clouds like thunder, with immense force!

"Roar!"

A terrifying, thunderous Dragon roar suddenly erupted in the sky, and a huge Dragon with a completely black body and eerie green eyes appeared!

"The Cannibal!" Aegon's face turned ugly. "What the f*ck!"

Aegon never expected to encounter The Cannibal. For a moment, even his native language from his previous life came out of anger!

Sunfyre quickly folded its wings and dived downwards, avoiding The Cannibal's attack.

As it neared the sea surface, Sunfyre spread its wings, leaving trails of water on the surface.

"Calm down, Sunfyre, pay attention and cooperate with me!"

Aegon soothed Sunfyre and focused all his attention on guiding Sunfyre's flight.

A black Dragon and a gold dragon began a life-and-death chase!

The Cannibal followed closely behind Sunfyre, seemingly in no hurry at all.

Seeing this, Aegon also had Sunfyre slow down a bit.

The Cannibal was in its prime and full of stamina. Hanging back unhurriedly like this was very likely an attempt to exhaust Sunfyre's stamina.

As expected, as soon as Sunfyre slowed down, The Cannibal would immediately accelerate to catch up.

King's Landing was not far from Dragonstone. As long as they reached Dragonstone and entered the Dragonpit inside Dragonmount, they could escape The Cannibal.

After understanding The Cannibal's hunting strategy, Sunfyre began to fly at a constant speed under Aegon's command.

As soon as The Cannibal accelerated, Sunfyre would immediately increase speed, then glide to recover stamina.

The Cannibal chased like this, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, several times, and quickly realized something was wrong.

When a normal young Dragon encountered it, it would usually panic and accelerate away without regard for its own stamina.

As long as it followed unhurriedly, it would wait until the other party's stamina was exhausted, then suddenly accelerate and kill with one blow!

But now, this gold dragon in front of it seemed not panicked at all, always maintaining a distance.

As soon as it accelerated, the other party accelerated; as it slowed down, the other party started gliding to recover stamina, which was truly annoying.

However, The Cannibal was not angry, just a little disappointed.

This gold dragon didn't look small, and it wouldn't be easy to hunt. It wanted to try its luck.

If it caught an opportunity due to this gold dragon's panic, it wouldn't mind having a full meal.

Unfortunately, this gold dragon, except for the initial restlessness, remained very calm afterwards.

After a brief thought, The Cannibal gave up on hunting the gold dragon. Young Dragon hatchlings and Dragon eggs were easier to catch.

Having decided to abandon hunting the gold dragon, The Cannibal quickly pulled up, preparing to dive above the clouds to search for prey on Dragonstone.

However, just as The Cannibal was about to break through the clouds, a roar filled with endless rage suddenly came from above the clouds!

"Hiss!"

Immediately after, a pale blue giant Dragon broke through the clouds and collided with The Cannibal. The two colossal creatures began fighting in close combat in the air!

Pale blue Dragon fire and eerie green Dragon fire intertwined, dazzling even in broad daylight!

"Dreamfyre?"

Not far away, Aegon, who was focused on escaping, felt his scalp explode the moment he saw Dreamfyre.

"That's sister's Dragon, sister came to save us!"

Aemond, who hadn't realized the seriousness of the situation, shouted excitedly.

"Brother, let's go help sister and kill that black Dragon!"

Aegon, with a dark expression, secured Aemond, then pulled his own seatbelt as tight as possible and entered the Dragon Spirit state.

After merging consciousness with Sunfyre, Sunfyre roared, began to climb, and turned its direction to charge towards The Cannibal.

"Roar!"

The distance of less than two hundred meters was covered in an instant.

Sunfyre flew sideways, seized the opportunity to bite The Cannibal's back of the neck. Its sharp teeth bit through the Dragon scales and plunged fiercely into the muscle.

After biting The Cannibal, Sunfyre used its muzzle as a pivot point, and the bone spurs at the ends of its forelimbs and its hind claws instantly plunged into The Cannibal's body with force.

With its body fixed, Sunfyre began shaking its head wildly, tearing at The Cannibal's back of the neck!

The Cannibal forced Dreamfyre back with a burst of Dragon fire, then immediately turned its head and sprayed a burst of Dragon fire.

Sunfyre, controlled by Aegon, reacted extremely quickly. Almost the moment The Cannibal forced Dreamfyre back, he released The Cannibal.

The Cannibal's Dragon fire was anticipated and caused no harm to Aegon.

But even so, Aegon still dared not relax in the slightest!

In the brief moment Dreamfyre and The Cannibal exchanged blows just now, they each left several deep claw marks on the other's abdomen.

And although the wounds caused by Sunfyre looked bloody and gruesome, they were all superficial injuries, not affecting the bones or tendons.

The Cannibal had not lost its combat ability, and like Dreamfyre, was only lightly injured.

However, The Cannibal didn't survive in the wild alone for so long by being reckless, but by being cunning!

After creating distance from Dreamfyre and Sunfyre, The Cannibal gave a resentful and vicious look before turning directly to escape.

Seeing The Cannibal escape, Aegon breathed a sigh of relief.

Although Dreamfyre's size was similar to The Cannibal's, if The Cannibal was truly determined to fight to the end, Sunfyre and Dreamfyre might not necessarily be able to defeat it!
