Ryan opened the door for her and waited until she sat down properly in the front passenger seat. "Not even five hundred pounds."
Mary's eyes widened in surprise. "That cheap? Next time, let's buy more."
So much meat, plus all that fresh blood. When they got home, she could even make blood curd. It was a real bargain.
Ryan started the car and smiled. "I already made an agreement with him. In twenty days, we'll buy another batch. I told him to prepare more in advance. Sit tight, wife. We're heading out."
Mary glanced at the time. It was already afternoon. "Later, let's stop by Thomas's place. We need to talk to him about renovating the shop."
Ryan nodded, the car smoothly heading in that direction.
"By the way," Mary added, "I've already taught Olivia how to cook. She's almost mastered it. Running the restaurant shouldn't be a problem. The only issue is that she doesn't have a legal identity."
