Chapter 51 - Chapter 47– Not Alone in the Dark

Jay-Jay POV

My heart was pounding so hard I was sure they could hear it.

The store room was dark—no windows, just shelves stacked with extra supplies and old boxes. The door clicked shut behind me, and for half a second, I thought I was about to panic.

Then the grip on my arm loosened.

"Relax," a familiar voice whispered. "It's us."

"…Us?" I hissed.

Another head leaned closer, just enough for moonlight from the hallway crack to catch a face.

"Hi," Ciel whispered. "Please don't scream."

I stared.

Then another voice, calm but low: "You were about to walk straight into Sienna."

"Yuri?" My voice came out shaky. "Are you serious right now?"

"Yes," Yuri said. "Very."

I folded my arms, trying to slow my breathing. "So your solution was kidnapping me into a store room?"

Ciel winced. "When you say it like that, it sounds bad."

"You… what are you doing here?" I hissed.

Ciel shrugged. "We were curious. And you looked like you were about to walk straight into… Sienna."

Yuri muttered something under his breath. I caught it. "…stupid."

I glared. "Stupid enough to almost get caught by Sienna, thanks for the tip."

They exchanged looks, then Ciel whispered, "Wait… she took your phone?"

My eyes widened. "Yes! That means she was watching me this whole time! And she knew where I was locked… She probably looked me up too."

Yuri blinked, jealousy clear in his tone. "Looked you up?"

"Oh, please," I rolled my eyes. "Social media, posts, everything. I had no choice. I had to tell you."

I explained everything—the locked room, the missing phone, the call outside. They listened silently.

Then Ciel tilted his head. "So… this Eli guy—was he handsome?"

Yuri coughed, obviously flustered.

I smirked. "Was he, huh?"

Yuri crossed his arms, cheeks pink.

Ciel noticed and, in a very innocent voice, said, "Sorryyy."

Yuri muttered, "Don't use that cute face on me again."

I shouted. "Again?"

Both of them hissed "Shhhhh!"

I laughed softly. "Sorry, but what do you mean again?"

Ciel waved his hands. "Why are you even concerned about our life? Focus on yours."

Finally. Yuri peeked through the crack in the door. "Sienna's gone."

Relief washed over me.

"Good," I muttered.

They opened the door carefully, and we slipped out like nothing had happened.

"Midnight snacks?" Ciel asked.

I nodded immediately. "Absolutely."

We grabbed snacks, whispered jokes, and acted normal—like my world hadn't just tilted slightly off its axis.

When we finally went upstairs, I headed to my room.

Yuri and Ciel stayed behind in the living room, starting a movie.

Only God knew why they were still awake.
