As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows along the crowded landscape a young girl sprinted towards a secluded smal house, her breath coming in loud gasps, her cute face was flushed from exertion and her vibrant purple and silver hair was disheveled from the wind. She flunged open the door her silvery blue eyes shined with excitement and mischievous as she rushed towards a woman who was sitting in the living room holding a book.
"Aunt!" The girl exclaimed barely containing her enthusiasm.
Her aunt Elara stood tall her dark brown hair neatly tied back revealing her striking features slightly pale face and green piercing eyes that seemed to bore into anyone who looked at them .
"What is it Rin." Her aunt asked lazily.
Rin pouted at her aunt's lack of enthusiasm before being possessed by excitement again.
"I met him aunt ,the most handsome boy I have ever seen!" Her voice tumbled out in a rush. As Rin said those words, Elara's expression turned grave her eyes narrowing as she grasped Rins hand tightly.
"Describe him." She ordered, her voice low and intense.
Rin's winced in pain and Elara hurriedly let go.
"I am sorry Rin tell me... what does he look like."
Rin rubbed her sore arm, her eyes were dreamy and her cheeks were flushed.
"He has a slightly pale skin cute fangs a chiseled jawline well built muscles and-"
Did he ask you to come with him, where you leave how to contact you or wait... does he have some dark mark on the skin of his neck. Elara cut Rin off as her face paled further.
Rin nodded and Elara's eyes flashed with fear.
"We have to go... Now."
"Aunt but-"
"Its final." Elara declared her voice urgent having made up her mind.
Just then there was a loud bang on the door followed by the sound of splintering wood as a hand burst out of the wooden door that through it like paper another hand followed, then another until the door was completely ripped apart.
Three pale faced humans wearing cloaks loomed at the entrance their eyes blood red, abnormally long sharp fangs, their lips curled to reveal a blood curdling grin that king fiends will envy. Rin's eyes widened in terror completely devoid of the ability to scream. Elara pulled her close to shield her from the ominous figures.
"I won't let them touch you Rin you will be fine I promise listen to me go to your room grab all your stuff and don't come out till I tell you to and if you are in trouble don't hesitate to scream okay?"
"But aunt I-" Rin sobbed, before she could finish Elara grabbed her and pushed her slightly, Rin staggered backwards almost losing her balance.
"Just go! I will be fine." She whispered no longer acknowledging the figures who stood behind her. "Please make this easy for me. "She said with a hint of sorrow etched in her voice.
Rin nodded without being told twice she rushed off towards the room.
Elara turned to look at the three figure's her eyes narrowed. "Who sent you here." She said in a calm yet irritated voice. The three silhouettes kept silent until one of them , the tallest of them shot her a fiery look before suddenly appearing in front of her causing her cheeks to move slightly and her neatly tied hair to be loose but not disheveled. He grabbed her arm, his eyes now glowing blood red. His curled into an eerie smile as he looked at Elara's terrified face with a hint of amusement and satisfaction.
"Where is your confidence now huh! "He growled angrily as he grabbed her neck with lightening speed his eyes glowed more crimson as Elara froze her eyes hung wide.. "You will hand over the girl and come with us wont you?" Elara stood frozen seemingly in an entranced state. Then suddenly her lips curled to reveal a mocking smile revealing her long fangs which instantly alarmed the three her eye colour changed from dark green to blood, her face became paler. Sensing danger the man kicked his feet of the ground while swinging his claws to deflect her hand which reached out to grab him but to his horror his nails shattered causing pain to surge through him but her hand didn't stop it latched until the fabric of his collar with such brute force he was yanked down sending him crashing to the ground with a loud bang that shook the entire
room sending dust and debris everywhere. The man body could be seen in the air frozen his entire body trembled as blood tricked down his lips the two other figures eyes widened as their bodies trembled slightly as they saw a their comrade being impaled in such a gruesome way. Elara, unperturbed yanked her hand free from the man's stomach creating a squelching sound as blood rained down. In her hand was a conical shaped bloody structure, his heart. She let go of his collar allowing his lifeless body to fall to the ground.
"You bitch!" One of them who was slightly shorter and bulkier roared. "You killed him so easily aren't you like us?you shouldn't be against us."
"I don't talk with worthless newborns ." She replied coldly without looking at them." I know your leader is hiding somewhere do me a favor before your death and bring him to me perhaps he might be worth killing than you inferior goods."
"Damn you!" The bulky pale shouted as they both charged at her with inhuman speed. As the two figures blurred towards her moving incredibly fast Elara's eyes narrowed her focus sharpening. The first attacker who was the bulky figure lunged with a wild swing, but Elara sidestepped effortlessly, her heels connecting effortlessly with his stomach sending him crashing through the wall behind him with a loud crash leaving trails of blood that created a bloody path to the large hole in the wall, the second attacker followed his dagger slicing through the air with deadly precision that seemed to defy human limits. Elara's response was almost instinctual. She caught his wrist midsrike, the second attacker struggled but Elara's grip didn't budge, with a swift twist the attackers wrist snapped with a sickening crunch blood poured onto the ground with some even splattering on her face as his broken wrist bone potruded out of his flesh. But Elara's grip didn't waver instead she spun him around and wrapped her other arm in a sleeper hold the man thrashed violently while swinging his claws aimlessly drawing blood, with a swift jerk, the man's body went limp. With a sigh Elara released him letting his lifeless form fall to the ground . She sighed again as she placed her foot on his forehead applying pressure, and like that crunching sounds filled the air as his skull shattered beneath her foot splattering blood all over.
Unperturbed she looked over at the opening in the bloodstained wall as if expecting someone.
"You should have sent a high ranked member or official at least if you wanted to deal with me. Sending a bunch of failed products is annoying and insulting." She sneered unimpressed while staring at the empty space in the wall.
"Indeed if only we knew we would be be dealing with someone like you Lady Evlin." An eerie voice echoed from the hole in the wall.

Rin held unto the door panting heavily quickly she rummaged through her large belongings removing several clothes and some smaller items and stuffing them inside a smaller bag. No matter what she had to be strong for her aunt she took out a dagger then placed it inside the small bag from the bigger bag something caught her attention a small box adorned with purple carvings of a winged creature. Slowly she lifted the box then gently proceeded to open it. Inside was a jade colored crystal pendant inside seemed to contain some glowing particles which swirled back and forth inside the crystal holding the pendant, it seemed to bring to her a sense of nostalgia she wore it around her neck she slipped a needle like object inside her hair suddenly the image of the pale faced handsome figure came into her mind again she sighed. If only her aunt can trust this guy but her mind instantly snapped back to reality the people who attacked them had almost the same features as the man she met at this point she had already written off the man from her love life all she wanted to do was to escape with her aunt. Just then she had a faint bang sound from the door she quickly turned. To her dismay a large muscular man stood in front of her blocking the entrance. He stared at her intently with his blood red eyes a smirk played on his lips.
"Leaving so soon little cutie. "

Elara rushed forward as he swung his glaive horizontally the blade was instantly released from the handle as it moved to cut her belly Elara quickly got down got on her knees with her arms spread across the the ground she slid barely avoiding herself from being split into two halves he thrust his glaive and the chain and blade shot forward she quickly sidestepped avoiding it. swiftly she grabbed unto the chains connecting the blade but abruptly released it in shock examining her hand while the blade returned. It turned out that when she grabbed the chains spikes suddenly popped out piercing her but that wasn't all, the injured spot had turned purple. She stared at him, her eyes narrowed but still retained the unusual calmness, his face revealed a cocky smile.
_Its laced with poison._ She thought plundged his glaive into the ground then slowly golden patterns started to form surrounding where she currently stood suddenly the patterned floor began to radiate and pulsate with unusual energy.
"Soul tentacle bind." He roared.
Suddenly large long and spikey tentacles made of light sprouted from the patterned grounds all reach out to grab her she leapt into the air instinctively avoiding the tentacles while mid she drew a dagger which was hidden behind the fabric in her thigh and tossed it at him he immediately swung his glaive to deflect it obliterating it in an instant . Before he could react further Elara appeared in front of him her fist connecting with his jaw sending hising backwards. He crashed intoll with a loud thud quickly getting k to his feet, he raised his glaive at Elara who was now midair ready to deliver another hit.
"Blood cannon!" He roared at the top of his lungs even though it was dripping blood. A large ball of golden energy headed towards Elara with unprecedented force.
Her fists glowed bright crimson as she clashed with the ball of energy head on.
"Die Royal trash. " she yelled.
The two force clashed brutally creating a devastating shockwave that shook the entire house.
