Running **
"Hey stop " they shouted in a loud voice but I told myself I won't stop Running for my life cause nobody will understand the creature inside me but all I know is that my grandparents owe me a huge explanation since I didn't know about this till today. Before I ended in this situation I was at home with my grandparents and trying to clean and also go to sell some veggies since they are both too old to go around while the sun is too hot here. Mpumalanga has always had the hottest weather and I'd always go out wearing a bra only even though my grandma wants me to wear clothes that cover me since I have a strange mark at my back that is like a tattoo but grandma always says it's a birth mark but I'm sure that there's more to the story than it being a birthmark. I was passing by a forest while selling then this other man came to me and immediately when he saw my scar he opened his eyes wild open and asked me where I live and I told him that it's near the famous store and so asked me " where is your mother child and you're not suppose to be here you're coming with me " he said as he pulled me closer to him I thought maybe he wants me but I was clearly wrong since he was trying to force me into his car and I saw that he was trying to abduct me and I wasn't gonna allow it I kicked his balls and took some potatoes and threw them on his face and then the biggest challenge started I ran and as I was running I noticed that I was being chased by 4 men and yerr I was pissed of and he shouted to his thugs " kanti nimeleni mulandeni lomuntu ( what are you waiting for catch her) " they chased me until they lost me and walked away and immediately i decided to call grandma with my mini phone
" grandma there are people who saw my birthmark and started to chase me I don't know what's going on but you and grand dad owe me some explanation cause I don't get it" I said breathing heavily from the long run " breathe sihle where are you right now" she said in a worried tone and just to not give her a heart attack I just told myself that I should try to speak to her calmly " I'm at kumkanis store but I'm hidding at the back of the house since there is a hole on the gate" I said breathing heavily and running out of breath and me and grandma spoke and we decided we'll meet at night at home since there was a secret place there that I didn't even know of.
I went back home and luckily those people didn't see me and so I spoke to grandma and inside the house was a secret door and we both went inside and boy I was shocked of what I saw , there was high tech stuff that I couldn't describe and couldn't understand how my broke grandparents could own fancy stuff. " grandma what is this place and how come we eat like we Don't have money yet what I'm seeing with my own 2 eyes states that we must be rich and even I should've even gone to school but I didn't I just don't get everything here and now I'm chased by thugs for a birthmark I just don't understand grandma" I shouted and tears begin to come out and the rage inside me of everything happening so quickly today just made me to feel uneasy and as grandma tried to explain I ended up passing out.
Hours later I woke up to see grandma in tears and grandpa trying to comfort her and immediately they saw that I'm awake they both hugged me and said "we're soo sorry for everything that has been happening but this ,all this is because of your mother thembekile she's the cause of this and she left you with us hoping that you'll be safe since she is always on the run because of her identity" I looked at them and just told myself to not say anything but instead listen to them explain everything to me " your mother isn't human she is a creature that no human kind has come across before and she has always hid herself in human form but the real story here is that she is not human but she can transform into any creature she desires to be and including into any type of human being she wants to be but the moment she uses her powers some lives are taken since anyone who's around her is always at a risk to die which is why to protect you she had to let you go and which is why we had to lie to you and say both your parents are dead even though they are alive" they said looking at me with their eyes full of tears and their facial expressions full of sadness. "Each of your body marks represent the powers you have like your mom she is full of marks all over her body and each time she transforms the one of the marks glows into a light color and most of the things are known by your mother and if your kind are few or more that's the information your mother knows more than us so that's about it" I was so shocked and kinda happy at the same time and so I decided that the next day I'll be going to joburg since that's where mom is and at least she'll be the one to give me more answers regarding my powers and explain this whole epic situation that had been going on and before I'd ask questions we all heard footsteps and grandpa went up the stairs and those thugs caught him and he shouted " run sihle run" and I ran like never before and when I got out of the house I heard gunshots and inside me I felt soo much rage that I started transforming and before you know it I had a huge body and had super strength and super speed and immediately I ran faster and handled those thugs and locked them inside without them realizing and then took my grandparents to safety then I kissed them goodbye and the only thing that was in my mind was my grandpa's words "run sihle run".
