Down on the ground below, a pterosaur several meters long appeared, its long, pointed beak gleaming with a cold light.

Looking at these stats—although not impressive, even weaker than the initial Raptorex—that didn't matter. What mattered was that Jiang Qize could turn it into a god.
His eyes burned with excitement.
It wouldn't be long before he could soar through the skies.
He opened the Quetzalcoatlus's enhancement interface.
He tapped all the basic enhancements, except for the tail—because the Wind Quetzalcoatlus didn't have one.
Nineteen million Beli deducted.
The creature below began to change.
But he didn't stop.
He immediately activated all the intermediate enhancements.
One hundred ninety million Beli deducted.

A terrifying shockwave burst from the pterosaur below.
Boom!
The house was instantly blown apart by the shockwave. Everything inside was blasted outward, debris flying everywhere, stones and wooden shards raining down.
"Ahhh—"
"Help!"
Panicked screams rang through the air.
"Yaa~!" The Quetzalcoatlus let out a raspy cry, then twisted its body and beat its powerful wings.
Buzz!!
A fierce gust of wind and sand exploded outward. The massive creature shot up into the sky.
Jiang Qize stepped out from the ruin that had once been a house. Looking at the pterosaur, now little more than a faint speck barely visible in the sky, he couldn't help but smile.

Ten thousand meters above ground.
The Quetzalcoatlus spread its wings and hovered in the air.
Its body continued to grow.
The wingspan that had been barely over ten meters began to expand rapidly.
Twenty meters, thirty meters, fifty meters…
Only when it reached a full wingspan of one hundred meters did it finally stop.
Even discounting its massive wings, the pterosaur's body alone had grown to over twenty meters—a true giant beast.
Powerful waves of pressure coiled around it, and an invisible wind held it aloft.

A flash of light moved through its eyes, and black-gold Armament Haki swept over its entire head, then its body, wings, and legs.
The massive Quetzalcoatlus transformed into a black-gold statue, radiating a chilling aura. Thin layers of frost crawled over its body, only to melt and reform again and again in an endless cycle.
One minute later.
The Armament Haki faded, and it returned to its gray-gold color.
It beat its enormous wings, and its massive form blurred into a streak of gray as it dove downward at incredible speed.

A voice echoed in Jiang Qize's mind.
At the same time, a surge of terrifying energy rushed into his body.
Crack—crack—crack—
His bones snapped and shifted, his cells undergoing furious transformation, becoming tougher and stronger, while threads of black impurities were forced out of his body.
