Chapter 51 - THE SUMMONER’S WRATH

A powerful blow — the kind that would have sent anyone else spinning across the floor.

But Sienna only turned her head slightly, spat blood…

And smiled. Now she's evolved into a winged skank.

"Was that serious, or did you trip before you hit me?"

Vaelira stared at her in disbelief.

Sienna cracked her neck.

"My turn."

She lunged forward and landed a clean punch to the succubus's face. When she went for the second, Vaelira had already flown backward.

The circle beneath Sienna's feet glowed a deep purple.

"Igneous Falcons!"

From the seal emerged three birds of fire — wide wings, incandescent feathers, sharp beaks glowing like living embers.

The falcons shot into the sky, chasing Vaelira mid-flight.

The succubus tried to evade, but the creatures dove at absurd speed, exploding against her in three consecutive impacts of fire and shock.

"AAAAAARGH!!"

Vaelira crashed into the marble floor, opening a crater. Her skin, however, began to regenerate almost immediately.

Sienna walked to the edge of the crater, looking down.

"That's it?" she lifted her chin. "I expected more from someone who controls an entire city with cheap perfume."

Vaelira snarled.

"Insolent…"

She spread her wings and took flight again, spinning her body in the air. Her palm ignited in purple.

"Let's see if you mock this!"

A cutting spiral blast tore downward, ripping through the floor as it came straight at Sienna.

The summoner didn't counterattack.

She simply stepped to the right — light, almost lazy.

The blade passed exactly where she had been a second earlier.

Sienna sighed.

"See? You make a lot of noise for very little result."

Vaelira snarled louder, her expression wavering between fury and humiliation.

"I'LL FLAY YOU ALIVE!"

Three wind slashes followed in quick, unpredictable succession.

Sienna stepped back, twisted her torso, dipped her shoulder.

The attacks skimmed past, slicing the air — but not her.

Ayumi whispered, incredulous:

"She… she's playing?"

"No," Elenya replied. "She's angry. This is angry Sienna."

Vaelira tried to gain altitude again, but a spectral wolf latched onto her leg at the exact moment of takeoff.

"HELL WOLF!" Vaelira screamed.

Sienna wagged her finger.

"You don't give orders to my pets, dear."

The succubus opened her mouth to conjure another spell—

But Sienna was already in front of her, fast as a spark determined to become a wildfire.

Before Vaelira realized her mistake, Sienna's foot slammed into her face with a dry crack that echoed through the hall.

The summoner tilted her head, wearing the crooked smile of someone who had just gained a bonus point simply for existing.

"Hey. Focus on me."

Vaelira fell onto her back, stunned.

Sienna stepped on her chest, pinning her effortlessly.

"You dominate men? Cute.

But I dominate monsters. And honestly… you're nothing special."

Vaelira tried her last card.

She raised her hand, channeling purple energy into the shape of a spear.

"Finish it," Sienna said calmly.

The wolf leapt.

Its jaws clamped onto the succubus's head.

The energy dispersed before a full scream could even form.

Vaelira turned into glowing dust.

Gone.

Sienna cracked her neck to the side.

"Done. One less skank controlling a city."

Emanueru swallowed hard.

Elenya let out a deep breath.

"Remind me to never make you angry… ever."

Sienna shrugged.

"You can. If irritation killed, Marcus would've been gone a long time ago."

"True," Elenya agreed.

The remaining purple light faded slowly.

The enchantments began to break — first over the dominated players, then over the city's inhabitants.

The perfume lost its strength.

Sounds returned to normal.

People blinked in confusion, like waking from a strange dream.

Ethan, Jay, and Marcus came to.

Marcus was the first to stand, dazed.

"W-what just happened? Why am I shirtless?"

Sienna crossed her arms.

"Oh, you don't remember? Two women on your shoulders, one hanging off your neck. Beautiful show, really. The stud of the party."

Marcus turned red instantly.

"S-Sienna… I… I didn't mean to—"

"Uh-huh." She raised a hand. "Save it."

Jay tried to help:

"Calm down, Sienna. We were under domination. There was no way to resist—"

She slowly turned her face toward him.

"And you, I suggest you shut up right now. Want me to tell Taiga what you were doing while you 'couldn't resist'?"

Jay lost all color.

"…I'll stay quiet."

"Excellent choice."

Elenya laughed, holding Ethan's hand.

"Thank God it's over."

Ayumi and Rina thanked them quickly and went off to look for their companions.

That was when Ethan noticed something on the ground.

A fragment of an ancient parchment, its edges burned.

He picked it up and read.

Fragment obtained: 1/7

Sienna raised an eyebrow.

"One of seven… great."

Jay sighed.

"Each city must have one."

Marcus crossed his arms.

"So we'll have to go through all of them."

Ethan stored the fragment.

"Exactly. Vaelira was guarding this one."

Elenya added:

"The other cities must be protecting the rest."

Sienna turned her back.

"And this time, nobody falls for any woman's sweet talk. Especially you."

Marcus chose not to reply.

Ethan raised a hand.

"Focus. We rest today. Tomorrow, we move on."

Sienna cracked her neck.

"Great. Well-earned rest… despite three useless idiots."

And so, with the first fragment in hand and a clear new objective, the group left Líria —

Unaware that they were about to face the next of the seven evils hidden on the Third Floor.
