The boy understood what was going on; Atractivo had buried one year's worth of blood crystals and had already sealed their fate. They lived within the Holy Blood Sect; even if his father placed another bet and won, if the Sheikh lost, they would all lose.
"I understood, but why did it take them this long to pass the third circle?"
