The excitement had peaked; the two orcs were holding their breath and looking at the person who had paused his speech.
"The Essence of The Divine Tree is our protector, our only hope ensuring the lives of thousands of druids; we cannot easily give it into the hands of a stranger!"
Nafız had thought of all possibilities before coming here; she was going to allocate the highest probability among them to what she had just heard. Just as she drew a deep breath into her lungs and was about to speak while looking at Alyon out of the corner of her eye, the druid started speaking again.
"However, due to your offer and your noble purpose in asking for our sacred object, we have decided to hand over the Essence of The Divine Tree to you when the conditions are met!"
The words they heard were enough to relieve both orcs; while Nafız sighed calmly, her friend Alyon was laughing, neighing almost like a horse.
In the moments they received the promise they wanted, Nafız waved her hand and caused dozens of sacks to appear in front of the council members; judging by their astonished states, the five old men seemed to expect an explanation.
"There are elixirs inside these prepared using the Orc Lord Khan's blood; if you pour them onto the borders of the shield, you will no longer need to use the Essence of The Divine Tree!"
The female orc was very sure of herself while speaking; disregarding the looks full of disbelief, she turned her back and started walking to leave the inside of the big tree.
When she stopped while about to exit through the slit with her friend who came next to her, the Five Roots were still watching her; as a result of Nafız turning suddenly, a baseless heaviness would settle on their hearts.
"Lastly, thank you for saving me the trouble of killing all the druids inside the shield!"
Two blood-colored daggers, almost five spans in length, had shot out from the wrists of the weak orc looking at them with her short-cropped hair; this person, tilting her head resting on her slightly hunched back to the side and looking at them, seemed like the embodiment of death.
Nafız hadn't held herself back; she had recklessly released her deadly aura, developed after all that slaughter. This wasn't a situation to be taken lightly; its effects wouldn't be limited only to the blood of the Five Roots freezing.
The inside of The Divine Tree, bathing in sunlight, succumbed to the claws of suddenly descending darkness; the druids inside the shield woke up from their meditations in fear, almost all collapsing to the ground unable to control their breathing.
While the Druid Settlement was in chaos, the situation outside the shield wasn't much different; soldiers with low mental strength had lost their consciousness, and those other than a few people with extraordinary development couldn't prevent an involuntary trembling from taking their bodies captive.
"What is this?"
"What is happening inside that damn shield?"
The invaders carrying out the siege from all four sides were uneasy in the face of the developing event; were the druids, who had been passive all this time, finally starting a counterattack?
"We will leave when we complete our preparations!"
Nafız, withdrawing her weapons, would take her step outside the tree after speaking in a cold tone; she seemed not to care at all about the momentary tension she caused!
"Oh Nafız, at least let me know; you blew my mind on the spot!"
Although he didn't show it, Alyon was also caught in the effect of the massacre-scented aura coming suddenly; unlike the others, he was relatively less affected since he knew what would happen if they received a refusal.
"On this path, people will either be with me or against me!"
Although she didn't reveal it while waiting for the Council's decision, Nafız had started plotting inwardly; her movements just now were not a threat; in a contrary decision, she could kill the entire druid race without batting an eye.
"Okay, we got what we wanted; calm down a bit now. I also have a question on my mind!"
Alyon continued without minding Nafız looking at him as if saying 'what is this now'.
"The Essence of The Divine Tree is necessary to bring Sangre back to life, but where did you learn this?"
The two orcs would stay here until the druids finished using the elixir; perhaps that's why Nafız, who acted reticent before, decided to spare time to talk.
"I told you before that we had two visitors; you know one of them very well!"
Already at the first sentence, Alyon's eyes opened in astonishment; while expecting his friend to beat around the bush again, the answer had come like a slap.
"Before Mora left me, Miloş showed up at our door; although he knew I wouldn't communicate with him, he continued to wait at the same spot until he came to the brink of death!"
Nafız lifted her head toward the sky and started watching the clouds as if thinking of an old memory; just at this moment, an exclamation would ring right next to her ear.
"Soooo!"
As a result of the story being cut short, Alyon had snapped in expectation.
"So, Mora offered that we give him a chance, but I didn't have the face to see anyone; for this reason, I temporarily went into a sleep state and left all control of my body to her!"
"Later, no matter how much I asked, my master didn't tell me what happened; she just said, 'If he has a chance, you will definitely meet in the future!'"
Nafız had thrown the gray-haired orc into the lap of curiosity once; if she stopped telling here, her friend's disappointment would be great.
"The real important person honored us a few days after Khan started spreading his seal; I was going to experience a night I will not be able to forget for the rest of my life!"
When Nafız paused her speech once more, this time Alyon didn't make a sound; judging by the intensity of emotion she experienced, his friend was already ready to tell.
"Khan had given all his attention to the sealing work; while Kitapkurdu was on the eve of awakening his lineage power, Mora and I were working on various blood techniques. For some reason, an uneasiness started to show inside me; I knew something bad would happen, how should I explain it."
"At the same time, something we never expected happened; the leather door of the tent we were in opened rapidly, and someone wearing a wooden mask on his face entered inside along with the falling snow!"
The weak female orc's breathing had accelerated; she wouldn't make a sound when her friend caught her to sit in the shadow of a tree they came to the edge of. When she returned to narrating while staring blankly at a point she fixed her gaze on, it was as if she was reliving those moments.
"Who are you!"
"We were all astonished, but Mora was the most tense; since we shared the same body, I was also experiencing the horror she lived!"
"Little lady, I must congratulate you; there aren't many people in this world who can pass this poison fog. Not to exaggerate, but we can find only as many people as the fingers of one hand, including myself."
"This person was very relaxed; although we understood he was a man from the timbre of his voice, we couldn't sense exactly what he looked like or how strong he was."
"Returning to your question, I am the owner of this world!"
"Come oooon!"
This time it would be her friend interrupting Nafız; although he could endure up to a point in the face of what he heard, the orc warrior had finally let it out.
"Although it sounds very ridiculous when I say it now, our opinion would change a few breaths later!"
"Kids, I have to kill you; there is a game whose outcome I wonder about, and you are doing whatever you can to spoil this!"
Nafız clearly remembered the man with a mask on his face extending his hands toward them after these words; while describing the ice and fire attack flocking toward her, she had now turned her gaze to Alyon.
"So he was that strong; well, how did you escape his hands!"
Her friend was before her in the flesh; if this person was the owner of the world, how did those inside the tent survive that night?
"Do you remember the dungeon we entered while fleeing the Glacial Region that day?"
How could Alyon forget those days; the times he was tamed with hunger were etched in his memory.
"Our luck was that the strange man directed his first attack at me; judging by him taking a step back, he also didn't expect the result at all!"
