Chapter 176 - Yüz Yetmiş Altı

Alyon shuddered involuntarily due to a cold feeling that fell inside him while looking at his friend's back; when he said "you have changed," he was talking purely about her external appearance, but now he was beginning to understand that Nafız was no longer that person he used to know.

While her companion was being swept away in the whirlpool of various thoughts, the female orc's head was clear. While telling Alyon many things he needed to know, she had deliberately not illuminated some points and hadn't given information regarding her guesses whose outcomes she didn't know.

The gray-haired orc knew why they had to visit the remaining five civilizations, but he was unaware of the enemies that would await them in the places they went.

"Take this bag; you will scatter the powder inside it around you, a pinch every ten steps along the way!"

While Nafız threw the small leather bag she took out of her inter-spatial ring to her friend, she was also explaining distinctly what he needed to do.

"What is inside this?"

"Your grandson's labor, blood, tears, and the only hope of salvation for the Wild Swamp continent!"

Alyon had asked a single question, but now he had an armful of answers in his hands; it didn't take long for him to decide that doing what was said without prolonging it much was effortless for him.

They would walk all night long; their surroundings looked lush green and full of life, but a fog of sadness that a person could only feel with their heart's eye, apart from their five senses, had covered everywhere.

"Big Head, we don't have many friends here, and whatever state the orcs were in when we entered Parthenia, they are in the same situation on this continent right now. In short, we will slaughter the attackers and advance ceaselessly until the Sacred Tree of the Druids!"

The giant orc shook his head left and right as if to show he understood; Nafız had previously told him the location of the object they needed to take from these lands.

"As long as Khan exists, the Orc Steppes will not come under anyone's yoke; let alone the demon who defeated us that day, even if ones much stronger than him come, their fate will be absolute death. As for me, I have a debt to pay, a purpose to fulfill; I don't know how long it will take you to shake yourself off and come to your senses, but the shorter you keep this business, the better it will be!"

Nafız had taken only him with her; while there was a long road to go, she wanted someone strong on her right side.

"Mora wanted me to give these to you; she also said you need to work day and night to not be humiliated once again!"

The hulking orc, whose gray hair had been touched by dew, was curious while taking what was extended to him, but since he hesitated to ask, he contented himself with just looking at what was in his palm.

"There are explanations of the techniques you need to study on the parchment, and inside the small tube is something much more interesting!"

His friend's words were becoming increasingly seductive; eventually, Alyon couldn't resist and asked what this liquid was good for.

"Mora was very interested in the lineage powers coming from the blood of orcs; thanks to your grandson, she had the chance to do quite a bit of research."

Nafız remained silent for a long time when the name of the red-haired goddess of the Hell Realm was mentioned; after sighing with sadness, she would continue speaking with traces of deep respect in her eyes.

"She produced the elixir using Khan's blood, enriched with the energy he gathered from the continent, as a component; thanks to this, even the lineage power hidden inside an ordinary orc can awaken!"

The hulking orc, who had pricked up his ears to his friend as if listening to a story, jumped as if boiling water had been poured down his head with the last words he heard.

"What are you saying? How are you so sure?"

Alyon, whose situation caused his friend to laugh out loud, was just waiting for the answer without caring about anything.

"I am as sure as my name; in fact, that son of yours whom you didn't like has now become one of the five strongest people on the Orc Steppes. The only shortcoming of this liquid is that it is found in limited numbers and causes a different effect in every constitution!"

Alyon, who already possessed lineage power, was examining the tube full of liquid in his hand by turning it; perhaps he was thinking that this elixir was the key that would allow him to pass to the second level.

"Is that so? Then there is no need to wait long!"

As soon as his speech ended, he removed the cork stopper of the tube and consumed all the liquid in a single gulp; compared to his state of weariness for two years, he had made this decision almost at lightning speed.

"Here is the man I am destined to be with; if we have gotten down to business, consider this a gift from me too!"

While extending a slightly smaller version of the parchment she just gave to her friend, Nafız was laughing, guessing that some things would fall into place.

"It contains the experiences I had with my own power animal; you need to reach at least the level I was at before the war as soon as possible!"

During the two years she spent in isolation, the female orc had become closer to Alis than they had ever been; she was also very happy due to the change the tiny rabbit underwent after consuming tens of thousands of people.

The duo, who were deep in conversation while walking, didn't realize how time passed until the sunlight started sending its rays unrequitedly onto the living beings again. After a while, the dense forest they were advancing through slowly thinned out, and before long, it disappeared and turned into a large clearing.

"Someone has cut down the trees here; there must be humans camping somewhere nearby!"

In the moments when Alyon was making guesses while looking at the silhouettes appearing in the distance, his friend standing next to him had already drawn her bow. Upon seeing a giant weapon appear in her hand, the giant orc couldn't hold himself back and shouted.

"This is the bow you gifted to him!"

What he said was true; the weapon Nafız was currently using was the Tower of Terror she had once gifted to Sangre.

"It will be best if it stays with me until I give it back; meanwhile, maybe I can ensure it doesn't get rusty!"

When she released the arrow, as thick as an adult human's arm, which she had drawn, a sharp sound rang in the air; a duet to the song of the female orc, who planned to make noise specifically, would come from where the shot arrived.

"Arghhh!"

"Your war hammer is ruined; you can use this for now!"

When Alyon, whose hands were empty, reached out and took the axe extended to him, many memories rushed to his brain; remembering that he hadn't held a weapon for the last two years would happen in this way again.

"A simple orc axe, huh? Maybe this is the best to start over!"

The weapon suited the hand of the majestic orc, who cut the air a few times, very well; although he constantly denied it after his first defeat, it was in his destiny to be a warrior.

"Guests are coming; come on, let's give them a warm welcome!"

Clouds of dust had risen from the ground and were getting closer and closer; when they could clearly see those coming, Nafız was a bit surprised. A group of about fifty people were riding animals that looked like horses in appearance but were much larger; with the enemy seeing them as well, a person standing in front of the team would shout loudly.

"The attackers are there; kill them without mercy!"

After receiving the order, the soldiers, letting out an enthusiastic battle cry, galloped toward the two orcs watching them from the top of a small hill. While protecting themselves with their wide shields, the mounts they rode were also surrounded by chain mail armor.

"Big Head, I will leave a few for you; can you handle it?"

Sensing the sarcasm in the coming question, Alyon grinned mischievously; after this movement that didn't suit his face at all, his expression, which was already scary, would become thoroughly terrifying.
