The result of the battle was declared when the second arrow from Sangre's bow entered bellowing Anton's open mouth and exited the nape of his neck. The remaining soldiers and bandits were fearfully waiting for their inevitable fate, while the orcs in the tribe shouted joyfully.
"Soldiers, throw down your weapons and surrender; your lives will be spared as long as you comply with the orders!" Alyon broke the continuing silence, and the soldiers, whose commander had abandoned them, didn't hesitate for a second to drop their weapons.
Nafız knew very well that the tribe needed these battle-hardened soldiers, but the remaining few bandits had zero value in her eyes. "My warriors, tear to pieces everyone except the armored soldiers!" The blood and hearts of these simple bandits were useless for their purposes. To reward the orcs for their great efforts, Nafız granted her warriors the pleasure of crushing them. With about four hundred bandits fleeing in fear, a spectacle began to unfold on the desolate steppe.
As Sangre carried the treacherous Commander on his back and returned to the tribe, the bandits fleeing around him and the orc warriors pursuing them looked like children playing a joyful chase. The only difference between the unfolding action and a game was the captured bandits turning into puzzle pieces that could not be reassembled. The orcs engaged in a full day of slaughter with all their savagery to shake off their few losses and the fear they had experienced all day.
After the surrendered soldiers were securely bound, Alyon took the merchant with him and went to the abandoned mechanical device. The merchant and his apprentice examined the machine for a while and said, "It's a low-grade model, but it could be very useful for you." This machine was a very pleasant gift for the tribe, which was preparing to migrate. Since they carried their tents on their backs, the tribe's only cargo along the way would be a small amount of goods. When Alyon examined the inside of the machine, he discovered that cargo that would otherwise be difficult to transport could travel easily with this machine.
"Dimitri, my friend, I have one final request for you!" said Alyon. To learn the Chief's request, Dimitri responded respectfully: "If it is a matter within my abilities, you can be sure that I will do my best." "Excellent, please join our small meeting when you return to the tribe. Let's discuss the details there!"
After Sasha took control, the defense machine entered the tribe as boastfully as a wedding carriage. The orc warriors, who had finished the massacre, waited for Chief Alyon at the entrance of the tribe, their chests swelling with pride. When they saw their Chief entering the tribe with a mechanical device, they shouted in unison: "Long live Chief Alyon! Long live Chief Alyon!"
While the orcs were full of joy, only one person was completely displeased with the situation. She swung her whips over the warriors while shouting furiously. "Shut up, damn it! Quickly collect the arrows we shot and the equipment of the dead enemies!" Nafız's outburst didn't bother Alyon at all; someone who possessed the power to destroy all incoming enemies single-handedly could afford to be capricious. Because orcs are a race due to their racial tendency towards complacency, they needed to constantly feel the whip on their backs so as not to lose discipline.
Shortly after, Sangre arrived next to Nafız with Anton on his back, threw his enemy's corpse to the ground, and began to speak. "Master, what should we do with this person's equipment and corpse?" Anton was a soldier who had served in the city guards for many years and, in this remote place, was one of the few people who received proper maintenance. When Nafız examined the corpse, she gave the boots that had caught her eye earlier to Blood Warrior Sangre.
An archer's greatest weakness was revealed when the enemy got close. With this equipment, he would get the chance to quickly retreat and continue the attack. Nafız, who chopped up Anton, who had no useful item besides the armor on his body, to take his blood essence, also had his heart removed and sent to Alyon.
Meanwhile, the soldiers quietly awaiting their fate inside a tent grew excited when they saw Domuzkuyruk approaching them. Most of these survivors had seen the orc before them giving orders on the battlefield. "To live or to die is in your own hands! You can guess what will happen to you if you return to Nikonya City because of the secret you were forced to learn."
As Domuzkuyruk began presenting their options to the soldiers looking into his eyes, the captives, realizing they had a chance to live, began listening intently. "You either migrate with us and become one of the tribe, or you will never see the sun again." As he finished his words, one person among the soldiers raised his voice. "Who do you think we are? How can you think we would want to live among savages like you?"
Domuzkuyruk told the guards beside him, "This friend doesn't want to live with us; do what's necessary." The guard swung the large battle axe in his hand with all his might at the head of the soldier who was acting tough. The soldier, whose head was split in two by the blow, wanted to say something at the last moment but didn't have enough time. "Yes, is there anyone else who doesn't want to live among savages like us?" When Domuzkuyruk asked his question, the captives in the tent shouted in unison that they wanted to live in the tribe. Domuzkuyruk, not wanting any more people to die since these trained soldiers would be very useful to him when he became the Chief of the tribe, had the human food that was served today sent to the soldiers.
After finishing his task, Domuzkuyruk took a long-serving soldier from among the captives and set off toward the meeting tent. Dimitri, Alyon, Nafız, and Sangre were present in the meeting tent. The merchant had sent his apprentice to the trench to dismantle usable parts from the two damaged machines.
When Domuzkuyruk entered the tent, Chief Alyon scanned the soldier he brought from head to toe. "Welcome to our tribe! We reward people based on the benefit they provide, and you have a great opportunity to prove your worth. I want to learn everything you know about Nikonya." The soldier, who found an opportunity to distinguish himself in this new group, relayed all the details he knew. Although Godfrey's erratic nature and Gulag's insane experiments were striking details, the city's defense systems and the organization of military units were the most important pieces of information.
"Now return to your tent and explain the new order to the soldiers." Before gesturing with his hand for the soldier to leave, he had explained the new arrangement he made for them. This soldier would be the leader of the other captured soldiers and would be treated according to the success they achieved in their assigned tasks.
Nafız said, "Dimitri, it is time to reveal the map I asked you for." The merchant took a large parchment from his bag and spread it on the ground. As a map of the entire orc steppes was unrolled before them, Domuzkuyruk and his son excitedly began searching for the location of their tribe. Alyon, sensing the excitement of the father and son, marked the tribe's current location with the small knife in his hand. Seeing their location, the pair experienced disappointment. Their tribe was in a strange spot, at the very edge of the map showing the great orc geography.
Dimitri, taking a hint from the Chief's action, immediately spoke up. "Our current location is in the North region of the West part of the main orc geography. This region consists of steppes with sparse vegetation. Near the orc tribe that rules the region, there are rich mineral deposits." Nafız interjected while Dimitri continued his speech. "You don't need to go into too much detail; stating the directions and climates is sufficient." After the female orc warned him, Dimitri continued his explanations cautiously.
"The South region of the West part is separated from our region by a gigantic rift. Due to the sea being the coast, it has a mild climate. The largest trade city on the continent is located here." Feeling a cold sensation on the back of his neck after his last words, the merchant hurriedly continued. "The North region of the East part consists of glaciers due to the mountain ranges surrounding it, while the South region is covered with dense forests."
Domuzkuyruk, listening to the explanations, turned to the Chief and asked, "Where will our tribe's new living place be?" Alyon began to speak, pointing to the intersection of the great rift, the mountains, and the sea on the map.
"There is a region I discovered a long time ago, hidden deep within the mountains here. You will settle and grow strong in this place, which has rivers, forests, and plenty of wild creatures. Should you have any needs, Dimitri the merchant will procure whatever you ask for."
"Merchant! I hope you're not considering betraying us; you know I can find you even if you run to the ends of the earth, right?" Nafızwas openly threateningDimitri, who was listening intently to the conversation. Dimitri, unlike his previous fearful behavior, turned to Nafız adopting a noble demeanor this time.
"Lady Nafız, the trust established between me and my client as a merchant is always my highest priority. My apprentice Sasha will personally deliver the incoming orders; if there is ever a situation that concerns you, you can always find me in Golden City." Nafız was greatly astonished by the merchant's changed demeanor.
"Look at me, you quickly forgot the past; you've gained some courage and confidence!" Alyon intervened, seeing that Nafızwas starting to get aggressive with someone again.
"The meeting is over; let the preparations be completed; we will set off at dawn!"
