Backstory:
Yusei Hayashi was, on the surface, an ordinary garbage man. In truth, he was born into wealth in a modern era, the son of powerful parents who never found his efforts sufficient. No matter how well he performed in school or how active he was in extracurriculars, his achievements were always met with higher expectations and colder criticism.
When Yusei finally tasted freedom, he rebelled hard. What began as defiance spiraled into self-destruction—heavy drug use, reckless partying, and constant trouble with the law. Step by step, he burned every bridge behind him until he found himself working as a garbage man, completely cut off from his family. His parents disowned him, leaving Yusei alone with the weight of his choices.
He often wondered what the point of it all had been. If he had endured just a little longer, his father would have eventually passed the company down to him. Yusei imagined taking it over, then tearing it apart from the inside, ruining everything his father had spent a lifetime building. That bitter thought crossed his mind as he stepped into the street.
He never saw the truck.
Driverless and swerving wildly, it struck him before he could react. Yusei died without understanding what was happening, his ignorance costing him his life. Instead of oblivion, however, his soul was torn free and pulled into a space that felt both cold and warm at once—an interdimensional warp. It carried him not only across worlds, but backward through time itself.
Billions of years into the past, within the central world, Yusei was reborn as the 8th primordial daemon: Rose.
As Rose, he took the form of an androgynous young man with pink hair and eyes, capable of freely shifting between male and female. During his transference, his soul crystallized into two unique skills: [Defiant] and [Absurdist], abilities that would heavily shape his growth and existence in this new world.
Rose's defiance ran so deep that even his descendants inherited it. His daemon progeny cared little for hierarchy or authority, frequently ignoring Rose outright and constantly challenging him. The Daemon Realm became a battlefield where Rose was forced into endless combat against those who sought to test or overthrow him.
Over time, the constant fighting awakened something unexpected within him—a genuine love for battle. Fighting became a source of exhilaration and pleasure, and Rose developed an obsession with facing powerful opponents, always searching for someone stronger.
To indulge this desire, Rose regularly manifested physical bodies in the central world by condensing Magicules. He delighted in chaos and manipulation, often tricking mortals into summoning him. Rarely did he grant their wishes outright; instead, he twisted contracts to suit his own amusement, ensuring every encounter ended on his terms.
