Chapter 8 - 8: The Ninth, the So-Called Strongest Man in the World!

"Let's see just how powerful Magic Sword Demon Blade Thousand Edge really is!"

Hawk-Eye didn't channel Haki into the blade. The magic sword he was focusing on should inherently possess incredible power.

Snap!

The sword shattered in the hands of the giant gorilla, and the broken pieces clattered to the ground. Both Hawk-Eye and the gorilla froze.

"Ah-woo! Ah-woo! Ah-wooo…"

The gorilla panicked, tossing aside the forty-meter-long great cleaver, flailing its arms in a gesture that seemed to say: "It's not my fault! You made me swing! Even if the sword breaks, don't blame me!"

Hawk-Eye gave a cold, piercing look. The gorilla immediately fell silent, bent down, and retrieved the broken sword.

From its construction, Hawk-Eye couldn't deny: this was the worst sword he had ever seen.

He thought this because Magic Sword Demon Blade Thousand Edge was composed of a thousand fragments, whereas the Black Blade earned its reputation as the world's strongest due to unmatched hardness. Compared to Demon Blade Thousand Edge, they were entirely different types of blades.

Yet, this didn't diminish Demon Blade Thousand Edge's position in his mind. There had to be something unique about it.

Why, in the video uploaded by Blaine, could the top assassin use this sword in such a bizarre manner? Hawk-Eye pondered, but no conclusion came.

"Forget it. I'll think about it on the way to Wano," he muttered.

Hawk-Eye wrapped the broken sword in white cloth and made his way to a dark underground storage room. After descending three spiral staircases, torch in hand, he inserted a palm-sized golden key into the dusty lock.

Creak~

As the wooden door opened, blinding white light shot into the dark cellar. Hawk-Eye shielded his eyes in advance.

"After all these years, you're still so dazzling, White Blade, Sun."

The light burned like the sun. It took him some time to adjust, but he approached the White Blade, Sun, which he had treasured for years, and smiled.

Like the Black Blade, Night, the White Blade, Sun is also one of the Twelve Supreme Great Blades!

This was a previously unrevealed supreme blade in the anime world, obtained alongside the Black Blade years ago. When Hawk-Eye had forged his title as the world's top swordsman with the Black Blade, it had earned the name the world's strongest Black Blade.

He neither denied nor acknowledged it, only he knew the truth.

The Black Blade, Night always had a fatal weakness: the White Blade, Sun he had kept hidden for years. Legend said that if the Black and White Blades collided, both would be destroyed.

Moreover, Hawk-Eye speculated that the assassin Qi in Blaine's video might not even belong to this world (the art style was too different). The video creator's identity was far more mysterious than even the origins of the Celestial Dragons or any lost historical record.

The Black Blade was now in someone else's hands. Only the White Blade, Sun remained, truly deserving the title of the world's strongest White Blade. Perhaps this title would only exist for a limited time.

Hawk-Eye subconsciously touched the broken Magic Sword Demon Blade Thousand Edge and put it aside. He slung the White Blade, Sun across his back, tidied his gear, and packed some rations.

He called a few small monkeys to row the boat with him.

"Head toward Wano. This voyage's goal is to find Tengu Mountain Hidetoshi of Wano's Komagasa Village!"

Standing tall at the bow, Hawk-Eye's gaze was sharp. Waves dozens of meters high roared, threatening to engulf them. The small monkeys panicked, clawing at their heads.

"Keep rowing. Don't let anything distract you. Reach Wano as fast as possible."

With that, Hawk-Eye drew the White Blade, Sun and, with a casual swing, unleashed a radiant white slash that cut through the towering waves.

The colossal waves, moving at hundreds of kilometers per hour, froze in place as the blade passed. For thousands of meters along the sea surface, water hung suspended, only returning to the ocean after the boat passed, raining down like a torrential storm.

Would the greatest swordsmith, Tengu Mountain Hidetoshi, be able to discern the secrets of Magic Sword Demon Blade Thousand Edge?

Meanwhile, Blaine's apartment had become a complete mess. The power of the Navy Six Techniques was beyond expectation, rivaling a full physical awakening! One word: exhilarating!

"I'm tired of this broken apartment. Let's see how many Manbi I still have."

Suppressing his excitement, Blaine opened the exchange screen: over seven hundred Manbi remained. People were still tipping his videos, occasionally increasing his total.

Seven hundred Manbi, converted to Soft Girl Coins, meant over 700,000 coins. He had never seen so much money in his life. Without thinking, he exchanged it for 700,000 Soft Girl Coins.

"Let's set a small goal for tonight: get Wayne and a few hot girls, and spend this money before sunrise!"

Just as he was about to leave, he remembered: he hadn't uploaded the completed video to the Anime Projection App.

Blaine sat at his computer, located the file in his Study Materials folder, and uploaded it:

"After the dimensional wall was broken, who can truly be called the pinnacle of power? This episode ranks anime characters by their combat abilities, order not considered.

This time, we reveal the ninth: the so-called strongest man in the world!"

He clicked upload, excitement coursing through him.
