"To some, I'm a ghost. To others, I'm Andrey," he replied, his gaze raking over Enega's body with hunger. "But for you, I can be Andryusha, if your cold heart isn't already taken..."

Enega stared at him, bewildered. Seeing her nephew make a pass at her triggered a very confusing mix of emotions.

Meanwhile, inside the mindscape, Clint was rolling on the floor, screaming, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" trying to drown out Andrey's voice.

"You..." Enega stammered, trying to process the audacity.

"Although... No. Actually, you still have to earn my favor. You seem a bit... sloppy..." Andrey continued, ignoring everyone's reactions. His tone shifted, becoming more mocking. "No, seriously?! What kind of pathetic guardian lets a fourteen-year-old idiot invite a spirit into his body! HAH!"

"I... Let me talk to Clint..." Enega asked, composing herself.

"I haven't mastered th…" Suddenly, a cold sensation spread across his chest, followed by blindness. He lost control of the body instantly, even though no one had touched the controls. "Hmm..."

In the mental space, Clint, who had been watching Andrey humiliate him in real-time, saw an exact copy of his own body drop down from the ceiling, clicking its tongue in annoyance.

"It's so dim in here... Although, considering your relationship with your aunt, maybe I should pity you for having such trash around you." Andrey kicked the stunned Clint out of the chair and took his seat. "Alright, get out there. You're up."

Clint looked at Andrey, ready to unleash a hundred insults for what the ghost had just said, but he stopped abruptly when he realized he was standing in the middle of his living room again.

"Sorry-sorry-sorry!" Clint immediately started apologizing the moment he saw Enega. "T-That wasn't me talking!"

"I figured... It doesn't matter. Are you okay?" Enega grabbed Clint by the shoulders and peered into his eyes. "Blue, as usual. At least that's good."

"Blue?" Clint repeated. "What does my eye color have to do with anything?"

"When that... ghost came out, your eyes turned gray," Enega explained, still examining his pupils.

"Bleached out, huh..."

"Can someone please explain to me what is happening?" Gen clicked his tongue irritably. He had just picked himself up off the floor after his unscheduled flight. "I came here to help, and instead of gratitude, I get assaulted and ignored."

"Oh, you're still here?" Enega feigned surprise.

"Sorry! I totally forgot." Clint ran to the kitchen and brought Gen a glass of water. "I'm bad at medicine, so this is the extent of my first aid."

"Better than nothing. But I would like an explanation."

You people are hospitable as fuck, a voice rang out in Clint's head. He jumped, surprised, until he remembered his new roommate.

"Please be quiet," Clint said aloud.

Gen looked surprised, then angry.

"Excuse me?.." Gen stood up, glaring at Clint with irritation.

"S-Sorry! I wasn't talking to you!" Clint stammered, realizing how crazy he looked. "L-Let me tell you everything later, okay? We'll meet up, I'll explain everything, and I'll even figure out how to pay you?.."

"You..." Gen gave Clint a hurt look and walked calmly toward the exit. "Call me. You have my number."

"O-Of course!" As soon as Gen left the apartment, Clint let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"Now, let's figure out what to do with these." Enega kicked one of the corpses in the corner of the room.

"Maybe we shouldn't disturb the dead?" Clint commented, trying not to look at the bodies.

You have one living inside your head, and you're worried about some random stiffs? Moron, the voice in his head noted.

"Oh, they'll be fine. Start thinking about how to dump them without being seen." Enega stood up and headed for the kitchen. "I'll go bring the car around to the entrance."

"Huh?" Clint looked at her departing back with a question in his eyes.

"Come on, come on. A little heavy lifting won't kill you."

She suggested hauling corpses to her car as casually as if she were asking him to take out the recycling. Her calmness frightened Clint far more than the task itself.

"Phew..." Clint squeezed his eyes shut, counted to ten, looked at the two dead bodies again, and then repeated the process until the urge to vomit subsided.

He stepped closer, touched the first body, and jerked his hand back. But looking at them again, he knew he had to do it, no matter how disgusting it was.

Are you seriously just going to drag them down the stairs? the voice in his head asked as Clint grabbed the first body. Have you imagined the neighbors' faces?

He stopped right in front of the door and slapped himself in the face. In the end, packing the "secret cargo" and moving it to the street took about twenty minutes, plenty of time for Clint to reflect on his life choices and ask himself: "How did I get here?"

"Where are we going?" Clint asked after stuffing the bags into the trunk.

"I'm taking them to a good friend of mine... He'll definitely know how to handle them," Enega replied. "You go back inside and figure out the thing inside you before it's too late."

"What?" Clint slammed the trunk and looked at Enega. "I thought I was coming with you."

"Yeah right. You have enough on your plate. Go figure it out." She shut him down firmly and started the engine.

"Sigh. Fine." Clint trudged back toward the apartment building.

Magnificent woman, isn't she? the cheerful voice echoed in his head. I love the type. Taking responsibility for things just because they feel like it, even when they can't even take care of themselves!

"Yeah, yeah..." Clint muttered automatically as he climbed the stairs. "I mean... Ah, whatever... Are you really going to talk to me all the time?"

You think I have anything else to do here? I could sift through your memories, sure, but I doubt I'd find anything interesting besides your little family dramas with Enega, and I've already watched those reruns.

"Can you... go back to your previous state?" Clint asked, desperate for even a moment of privacy.
