Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: A Single Slash—Crippling Arlong

"Hmph, this is what you call Fishman Karate?"

"Too bad. The only Fishman Karate I acknowledge… is Jinbe's!"

"Nine Yang Divine Art!"

Lucky Drake surged his inner power, clenched his fist, and struck straight on.

BOOM!

His terrifying inner force rippled through the sea, blasting Kuroobi so hard he spat blood.

"Damn… so strong!?"

Kuroobi was knocked back more than ten meters, bleeding nonstop.

As an officer of the Arlong Pirates—a cartilaginous fishman—he was extremely confident underwater.

Yet he was crushed in a single blow.

Realizing he stood no chance, Kuroobi fled immediately.

"Hmph, running won't save you."

"Don't joke with me. The Thunder Pirates came specifically for you people."

"We'll be meeting very soon."

Lucky Drake smirked coldly and sped toward the shore with Water-Walking Technique.

The Thunder Pirates' ship had already reached the beach.

"Lucky Drake! Are you alright?"

Nami rushed over anxiously the moment he emerged from the sea.

Right now, Lucky Drake was her only hope.

If even he couldn't defeat the Arlong Pirates, then saving Cocoyasi Village would be nothing but a dream—and she'd have become his woman for nothing.

"I'm fine. A fishman attacked our ship, but I've seriously injured him. He ran."

Lucky Drake spoke casually, releasing inner force as he talked—drying his clothes instantly.

"Alright, I'll take you to Arlong Park!"

Nami said eagerly.

The Arlong Pirates were monsters—every month they extorted "protection money" from the village.

100,000 berries per adult.

50,000 per child.

Can't pay? They kill.

Even the nearby Marine base looked the other way.

Vice Admiral Nezumi was even in league with Arlong.

"Don't worry, Nami. Lead the way—we're going now."

He turned to the captain. "Captain, ready?"

"Of course! We've heard everything about our sister-in-law. As captain of the Thunder Pirates, I'll never forgive the scum that bullied her hometown!"

Captain Red's face twisted in rage—no one bullied his brother's woman and got away with it.

"Hehehe, my iron club's been hungry all morning!" Alvida snorted.

"Good. Let's go raise hell. Fame or money—this time, the Thunder Pirates will take both!"

Lucky Drake grinned.

Under Nami's lead, the Thunder Pirates reached Arlong Park—a luxurious water-themed fortress.

The wealth they'd stolen was obvious.

Arlong really lived like a tyrant king.

"Who goes there!?"

A group of armed fishmen burst from the water.

"I am Captain Captain Red of the Thunder Pirates! I've come to challenge the Arlong Pirates!"

Captain Red stepped forward—towering, imposing—intimidating the fishmen instantly.

"Thunder Pirates?"

"That's the crew with a five-million-berry bounty from the Marine base, right?"

"Tch. You dare trespass on Arlong Park? Our boss has a twenty-million berry bounty!"

"Less nonsense. Tell Arlong to get out here."

Lucky Drake spoke coldly.

"Eh? Nami!?"

A fishman finally noticed her.

"You filthy traitor. So the Thunder Pirates are your reinforcements?"

"Too bad—you've doomed everyone. Yourself, them, and the entire Cocoyasi Village."

"Hahaha! Just wait—I'll report to the boss!"

He vanished beneath the water.

"Captain," Lucky Drake said calmly, "we wait. With Arlong's personality, he'll definitely let us in."

He squeezed Nami's hand gently. "Don't worry. With us here, nothing will go wrong."

"Mm. I'll trust you."

Nami felt warmth spread through her chest—this was the moment she was most easily moved.

The crew muttered among themselves—mostly marveling at how insanely rich Arlong was.

A whole water park?

They were already dreaming of stripping the place clean and finally upgrading their ship.

Buzz…

Soon, the drawbridge connecting the park slowly lowered.

On the far end stood a six-armed octopus fishman—Hachi.

His expression was complicated.

Deep down, he didn't want killing… but Arlong's hatred of humans controlled everything.

"If you've got guts, follow me."

"Captain, let's go!"

"Good! I've been dying to fight a real opponent!"

Captain Red's battle spirit flared.

"Haha, Captain, don't make me laugh. Arlong's nothing special. Once we reach the Grand Line—that's where the real monsters are."

"Grand Line? Hearing you say that… I'm actually getting excited!"

"Same here!" Alvida hefted her iron club.

Thus, dozens of Thunder Pirates crossed the drawbridge and entered Arlong Park.

The bridge was immediately pulled up behind them—sealing off their escape.

Hachi led them to the main hall.

At the far end sat Arlong—the sawshark fishman—chewing on a massive roasted beef leg.

"Sha-ha-ha-ha! Thunder Pirates, is it?"

Arlong glared down at them.

"So—how do you want to die? Should I toss you into the water to feed the carnivorous fish?"

Ding!

"Mission triggered!"

"Defeat Arlong — Reward: Lottery Points!"

The moment Lucky Drake heard this, he knew he wasn't wasting any more time.

"Captain, let me handle long-nose over there."

"Alright. We'll take care of the rest!"

Captain Red nodded immediately—Lucky Drake had shocked them too many times recently. He trusted him completely.
