Chapter 40 - I hate you, Zain!”

The mansion was silent. After Zain had left, Anya's patience finally snapped as she sat among the broken candles. She picked up Zain's expensive wine bottle from the table and, in a surge of anger, took two or three large gulps. The intoxication quickly rose to her head. On the TV, a drama played, where the heroine was escaping the balcony using a makeshift rope made of bedsheets.

"Huh… so it's that easy?" Anya slurred, her words unsteady. "If that girl on TV can do it, then why can't I… 'Drama Lover' Anya Lu?"

She pulled out all the sheets from the wardrobe and began tying knots. Her mind was now entirely consumed by wine-induced intoxication and the frenzy of drama.

Part 2: The Balcony Spectacle and the Guards' Misfortune

Anya stepped onto the balcony and let the sheet rope dangle below. The guards stationed beneath were stunned when they saw her swaying in the air!

They immediately called Kiyan. "Sir! Hurry! Madam is trying to jump from the balcony using a sheet! If the boss finds out, not just our jobs, even our lives could be at risk!"

Part 3: Kiyan's Interrupted Date

Meanwhile, Kiyan was at a restaurant on his first 'official' date with Huan Jing. He was about to hold her hand when his phone rang. Hearing the news, his face drained of color.

"Huan… I have to go! It's an emergency!" Kiyan said, dashing off.

"What happened? Your grumpy boss again?" Huan Jing asked, irritated.

"No, this time your 'drama queen' friend has caused a scandal!" Kiyan ran toward the car.

Part 4: Kiyan and Anya's Confrontation

When Kiyan reached the mansion, Anya was standing on the balcony railing.

"Anya, what madness is this! This isn't a movie—you'll fall!" Kiyan shouted from below.

Anya waved him off. "Stay back, Kiyan! I've watched plenty of movies; I know how to land. If you come up here, I really will jump!"

Part 5: Zain's Call and Anya's Final Blow

Kiyan, trembling, called Zain and told him everything. He knew only Zain could make Anya understand her danger. Hearing this, Zain spun his car around and raced home like a man possessed. Kiyan put the phone on speaker so Zain could hear.

Hearing Zain's voice, Anya screamed, her words a mix of wine-induced fury and years of pent-up pain:

"Zain Yan! Are you listening? I'm tired of being your prisoner! Yesterday you left me in that dark room to die, didn't you? You're a stone!" Her sobs echoed through the air. "I pray that you never know anyone's love. May you spend your life craving love and receive only loneliness! I… I hate you, Zain!"

On the other end, Zain gripped the steering wheel so tightly that his nails turned white. Anya's words hit the part of his heart already riddled with deep wounds.

Anya's foot slipped from the railing. Flailing in mid-air, she cried out, "Oh God! Save me! I have only one wish… that in my next life I'm born in South Korea! I'll be Jungkook's wife—but not this stone-hearted wolf's!"

As she was about to fall, Zain moved with the speed of a cheetah and caught her firmly in his arms. Anya opened one eye slowly, seeing Zain's face twisted in fury, and muttered, "Damn you! Looks like my Korean visa got rejected… and the gates of hell have opened for me. Yama himself has come to fetch me!"

Though Zain caught her mid-air, the impact caused both to fall to the ground. Anya's fate was perhaps not in the beautiful mountains of Korea, but in Zain Yan's lavish hell. The fear of falling and Zain's strong grip sobered her instantly.

Chapter: Korean Drama and Zain's Headache

Part 1: Gates of Hell and Jungkook's Army

As Zain caught Anya and landed on the ground, the fresh hospital scars on his back reopened, sending a sharp wave of pain through his body, fueling his already violent rage.

He yanked Anya upright. Her drunken state had turned into fear, yet the wine's effect still made her stagger. Zain twisted her wrist with such force that a scream escaped her lips.

"What did you think? This is a game?" Zain's voice roared like a wounded lion. He began dragging her toward the stairs, her feet scraping the floor. "Look into my eyes, Anya! Do you think you can escape me by dying like this? Not even death can touch you unless I allow it!"

Part 2: 'Jungkook' and the Room Scene

Zain brought Anya into her room and slammed her onto the bed with such force that the springs groaned. Turning on the light, his gaze swept across the room. Every corner was plastered with Korean drama posters and smiling pictures of Jungkook.

Zain's anger reached the sky. He felt he was fighting a girl who didn't even live in reality. "So this is your world? These dramas and pictures have ruined your mind. Starting tomorrow, no TV or internet for you!"

Part 3: Begging for Jungkook

Hearing about the TV ban, Anya's intoxication surged further. Staggering, she clung to Zain's legs. "No! Don't do such a terrible thing, Boss! Kill me, lock me in that dungeon again, but don't take my Jungkook away! He must be waiting for me!"

The scene was so absurd that Kiyan and the guards outside couldn't suppress their laughter. Kiyan immediately took out his phone to record. "Sir! She's already four steps ahead of Huan Jing! The world begs Zain Yan for mercy, and here she is, crying for her dramas!"

Part 4: Zain's Helplessness

Zain noticed even the guards of his terrifying mansion laughing at the scene. He barked sharply, "Everyone out! Now!"

Kiyan, saving the video, smiled. "Huan Jing will have to see how big her friend's 'Drama Queen' really is."

Zain slammed Anya onto the bed. She still muttered Jungkook's name while crying. He wanted to glare at her with hatred, but her condition was so comical that his anger slowly turned into irritation. He exhaled coldly and walked toward his room without a word, unable to decide whether to hate the girl or pity her madness.
