Electric Shock: Fulen truly had no way to measure this, as there were no wires or accumulators in this world. However, Fulen bravely experimented on himself, and then, Fulen was shocked so badly that he fell down, only managing to shake off the numbing effect after a long while.
The only certainty was that this spell was indeed one of the most destructive. If one didn't count fire-element spells, which usually couldn't kill people, then this Trick was undoubtedly the strongest spell.
As for other research on this spell, Fulen only knew that the voltage of Electric Shock was greater than what the human body could withstand. How much greater was hard to say. Fulen also didn't dare to try what would happen to this spell if he increased his Spirituality, after all, the Trickmaster was not a Beyonder Sequence that improved physical fitness.
The Trip, this one truly lived up to its reputation as the Trickmaster's most bizarre skill in Fulen's eyes.
The Trip doesn't act on reality; it doesn't manifest as fire or other elemental forms. However, this spell is most closely linked to the Spirit World.
Fulen tried casting the Trip on himself. The Trip doesn't move your feet to make you fall. Fulen roughly researched the true principle and then felt that this spell was the most potent.
When this spell acts on the human body, the person's mind becomes unable to distinguish front, back, left, right, up, and down. This means the spell directly acts on the target's Mind Body, and most Beyonder Pathways involving the Mind Body are not simple.
Although the Spectator Pathway is a frequent visitor to the Mind Body, it doesn't mean that the Spectator understands all the mysteries of the Mind Body. The Spectator excels at inducement. As for forcibly entering another person's Mind Body, although it can be done at higher Sequences, it cannot be done at lower Sequences, and the effect will not be as good when facing Beyonders of equally high Sequences.
Besides the Spectator, the Reader, Student of Ratiocination, and Detective of the White Tower Pathway are highly likely to improve the Mind Body, and the Savant is also highly likely to improve the Mind Body. The Conspirer and Demon also have Mind Body enhancement effects that increase intelligence, and the Apprentice simply enhances memory, which also involves the Mind Body.
The Judge's 'Mental Pierce' acts on the 'Spiritual Body' but has little to do with the 'Mind Body,' while the Trickmaster's Trip acts on the 'Mind Body.' Fulen felt that if he developed the Trip further, he might be able to overcome the period of weakness in combat ability at the Astrologer stage.
After researching late into the night, Fulen checked his schedule and found that there was an Extraordinary Gathering at the Flame-Axe Bar tomorrow. Fulen felt that he was no longer the person he used to be, so he decided to attend tomorrow.
The next afternoon, outside the Flame-Axe Bar, Fulen had just finished Wilson's training, but his stamina was not completely exhausted.
Currently, Wilson's training only had combat techniques left. As for physical fitness, according to Wilson, this level of physical fitness was enough to support you through a fight. As for further improvements in physical fitness, the returns would decline sharply, and he didn't have that much time to waste with you; you could just train yourself.
Fulen also didn't want to spend all his time on things like running and lifting weights. Quickly absorbing the combat techniques Wilson mastered was the right path. Of course, after Wilson's class, he didn't object to Fulen running and lifting weights at his home, but Fulen canceled this extra activity today.
Attending an Extraordinary Gathering with an exhausted body truly meant not even knowing how to write the word 'death.' Fulen had always held this understanding.
...
Inside the Flame-Axe Bar.
Fulen sat at the main bar counter, looking at Sam, who was chatting with those around him. Just as he was about to speak, Sam unexpectedly looked at Fulen first and, with a strange, inexplicable smile, said, "Hey, kid, you're finally here."
In an instant, a wave of unease surged in Fulen's heart, as he certainly didn't have the ability to make a bar owner remember him so clearly. But seeing that the other party showed no hostility, Fulen calmed down. Of course, the most crucial factor was that Fulen was confident he could escape from the other party.
"Yes," Fulen replied with a smile as well.
"Good kid, you've got guts. The days ahead will be exciting. I hope you can handle it," Sam still looked at Fulen with that inscrutable smile, which seemed both malicious and not malicious, then casually handed Fulen a beer. "This one's on me!"
Then Sam no longer paid attention to Fulen, only continuing to chat with his drinking buddies beside him.
Fulen ignored him, only leaving with a strong sense of unease and suppressed emotions, as the danger had not yet arrived, and his spiritual premonition was not particularly strong.
The entrance to this Extraordinary Gathering was quite grand. In an obscure corner with no discernible path, Fulen looked left and right and found a short corridor in the shadows that ended in a wall.
At the end of the corridor was an inconspicuous small recess. Fulen didn't rush to place the iron cross badge into the tightly fitting recess. Instead, he first put on his mask and black cloak, and only after being fully prepared did he press down the iron cross badge.
Silently, the floor Fulen was standing on rapidly descended. Fulen used a Flash and saw the surrounding walls were tiled. To be honest, this 'elevator' was much more comfortable than any elevator Fulen had ever ridden; he couldn't feel any movement at all.
With a soft sound, a Door appeared before Fulen. The Door's handle was coated with a fluorescent substance. Fulen extinguished the Flash, gripped the handle, and after a slight turn, he saw a small room. On the room's table was the iron cross badge Fulen had just used.
At the other end of the room was a Door. Fulen did not leave immediately but tried to open the 'elevator' Door. As expected, it wouldn't open. Fulen didn't want to force it open; after all, even if he did, he probably wouldn't understand it. So, he proceeded through the opposite Door to the true Extraordinary Gathering place.
The basement before him was brightly lit, and Fulen, as expected, saw many rooms. Beyond these many rooms was a large, plaza-like area, where several people were selling genuine or fake Beyonder materials.
As Fulen observed, a person dressed in cloth armor approached Fulen and said, "Sir, please hand me your cross badge."
Fulen complied. The guard, discerning something, returned the cross badge to Fulen and said, "Sir, please follow me."
Assuming this person was the silent, serious type of guard, Fulen didn't try to strike up a conversation with him and just walked on silently.
