Hi, Author here Just so you know a little about the book before you start reading. First off, yes, I know Rex is a bit meh, but trust me, he is a good guy at heart and was really gifted from a young age, but due to certain reasons that will be explained later on in the book, he will get better and become less lackadaisical.
Also, I understand the plot is going to be a bit boring and cliché, but trust me, it ramps up really fast, and the plot gets much more story-focused. There will not be a lot of answers in the beginning, but if you want spoilers, feel free to ask.
While the harem is focused mainly on dragons, because honestly I have not seen a dragon harem book before and thought it would be a cool idea. If you're not into that, do not worry; he will have other waifus as well from other races.
Understand I did not write this book to be like Solo Leveling; it's not going to be heart-stopping action every moment. This story will be very story-element focused in the beginning in building the characters, their motivations, and why they tick. Also my characters will be very detailed to flesh out what they look like so the reader can understand and get a vivid picture in their mind.
Also, this book will have some DnD references, but don't expect too much; I do not want my work taken down due to plagiarism. I work hard on it, so yeah, I don't really want my work taken down.
Also, as I have just said, it takes me around 5-6 hours just to write all my thoughts in a rough draft and then another 4-5 to write it all down into a chapter. Then take care of grammatical errors and sentence mistakes. I stay up to at least 3 AM most nights to make sure you have at least a chapter to read a day.
UNDERSTAND THIS WORK WILL NOT BE DROPPED FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN PERSONAL LIFE STUFF!!! I cannot stand it when I finally get to the meat of the plot, and I have waited 150+ chapters THAT I PAID FOR 99 PERCENT OF THE TIME NONE THE LESS! To just randomly not get updated for, like, over a year, and they ghost their readers. I know I hate it, and I know you guys hate it, so if there are any delays in chapters. If there is a reason I cannot write any longer, understand it is due to real-life complications, and I will let you, the readers, know if that happens and when to expect me back. It is just rude and discourteous to your readers who supported you.
Finally, rejoice! This work will probably remain free due to it being my first work, and I want to create a loyal audience. If you enjoyed any part of this story, please feel free to let me know; it will keep me going and help me to not burn out.
With that said, enjoy the book. I hope you have a wonderful time meeting Rex and other fellow characters; a lot of thought and love went into making them. Also, every main character will be getting their own volume arc that will better flesh out their background and motivations. With that said I am out
