Once Gu Yue had fully recovered…

Fang Yang's squad pushed deeper into the Star Dou Forest, leaving the Wind Baboon territory behind.

For safety, Gu Yue wove pale green wind energy around them, their steps light as feathers, silent as shadows.

Tang Wulin led the vanguard, Blue Silver Grass martial soul active.

Azure vines surged ahead like living serpents, parting dense thickets and thorny undergrowth, carving a clear path through the jungle.

Zhang Yangzi raised his right hand—his soul spirit, a pitch-black shadow raven, took flight instantly.

It circled above the squad, keen eyes scanning every leaf and branch.

Through their spiritual link, it relayed real-time intel to Zhang Yangzi—ensuring the team knew every hidden threat.

As they entered a new zone—

ROOOOAAAAAR!!!

A world-shattering roar exploded—soundwaves crashing like physical force.

Trees trembled violently, leaves shivering in terror, as if the entire forest recoiled in dread.

The squad froze, turning toward the source and gaped in horror.

A colossal beast stood before them.

A ten-meter-tall bear, its dark-gold fur radiating primordial menace.

Broad-shouldered, arms thick as city walls, its claws alone stretched over a meter, gleaming with lethal metallic luster.

Most terrifying—crimson eyes blazing with tangible, slaughterous intent.

"Th-this…!" Xie Xie sucked in a sharp breath, voice trembling.

Fang Yang's pupils contracted violently.

He recognized this legendary horror instantly.

The dark-gold fur.

The soul-crushing aura.

There was no doubt—

"Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear!"

Yes—this apex predator was one of the Ten Great Beasts from ten thousand years ago.

Adult Dark Gold Terror Claw Bears had no natural enemies—even dragons dared not challenge them lightly.

Solitary, peerless in offense and defense, they were undisputed monarchs of the forest.

This one stood ten meters tall—clearly surpassing ten-thousand years in cultivation.

At this level, other ten-thousand-year beasts would flee on sight—such was its absolute dominance!

"Fang Yang—what do we do?" Tang Wulin's voice was taut.

"Do we fight… or run?"

All eyes locked onto Fang Yang—awaiting his command.

Only the bear's heavy breaths and their racing hearts broke the silence.

"Gu Yue, Tang Wulin—everyone fall back. Guard the perimeter," Fang Yang said calmly.

"I'll handle this alone."

"WHAT?!" Xie Xie's voice cracked in panic. "You're challenging a ten-thousand-year Dark Terror Bear?! Are you insane?!"

Zhang Yangzi blurted, "Fang Yang—this isn't the time for pride! We should—"

Fang Yang raised a hand—cutting them off.

His eyes never left the bear.

"Trust me."

Three words—absolute, unshakable.

In the Spirit Pagoda control room, attendants gaped at the screen.

"Is he mad?! That's a TEN-THOUSAND-YEAR Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear!"

"Doesn't he know its power?! Why not just evacuate?!"

Only Wu Zhangkong remained utterly calm, eyes burning with intensity.

"Don't worry. If Fang Yang acts, he has his reasons."

He paused—then a faint smile touched his lips.

"Besides—with his monstrous spiritual power, even if he's critically injured in the Platform, he'll suffer no lasting trauma."

His emerald eyes gleamed with anticipation.

"I'm curious… just how far does Fang Yang's limit stretch?"

In the forest, the Dark Terror Bear bristled at their defiance.

ROOOAR!

It reared back—thunderous roar shaking the heavens.

For a hundred miles, spirit beasts collapsed, trembling—frozen in primal terror.

Without warning—the bear lashed out.

Its massive arm swept forward, dark-gold claws carving a colossal energy blade through the air, ripping reality itself.

Fang Yang vanished—reappearing meters away.

The dark-gold slash obliterated his former position—trees, earth, all vaporized in utter silence.

This was the Dark Gold Terror Claw, rumored to shred dragon scales with ease.

The squad stared in awe.

That strike was apocalyptic!

But the bear wasn't done.

Muscles coiled—its ten-ton frame launched like a meteor, closing the distance in a blink.

Fang Yang's hand ignited with Black Flame—arcane runes swirling, chaotic halos flickering—pressure so suffocating it threatened to devour souls.

His blood surged violently, his second purple soul ring blazed!

"Second Soul Skill: Annihilation Collapse!"

He shot forward, right fist wreathed in black fire, punching straight at the descending claw.

BOOOOOOM!

Heavenly Flame met Dark Gold Terror Claw—a shockwave erupting like a dying star.

Energy tore outward, uprooting ancient trees, flattening the forest.

ROOOOARGH!

The bear howled in agony.

To everyone's shock—its indestructible dark-gold claw was melting under Fang Yang's flame.

The beast staggered backward, crimson eyes wide with terror for the first time—staring at its ruined claw in disbelief.

This tiny human… had wounded the unbreakable!

Fang Yang stood unmoved, Black Flame coiling around him like a living storm.

His eyes—razor-sharp, radiating overwhelming pressure, a true dragon before a false king.
