Personal Dormitory
Fang Yang sat cross-legged, flames swirling around him like a sea of fire.
Eyes closed, he focused entirely on circulating the Flame Mantra, soul power surging through his meridians like a river.
Suddenly—his brow furrowed.
Deep within, the Heavenly Flame Orb—long dormant—trembled violently.
"What's this…?"
He snapped his eyes open, shock flashing in his pupils.
Without hesitation, Fang Yang stilled his mind and plunged his consciousness into the Heavenly Flame Orb's inner space.
Reality twisted—
and when he opened his eyes again, the Heavenly Flame Plaza stood before him.
Twenty-three towering pillars rose around him, each wreathed in a different Heavenly Flame, radiating soul-chilling power.
Fang Yang scanned the plaza—then strode straight to its center.
But there—a new structure had appeared.
A hexagonal altar, forged from unknown dark-red stone, its surface etched with magma-like runes, exuding an ancient, mysterious aura.
"An altar?" Fang Yang murmured, confusion flickering in his eyes.
He stepped closer—feeling the altar's primordial energy, as if whispering long-buried secrets.
Then—as if answering his unspoken question—the Heavenly Flame Orb within him pulsed.
A torrent of inheritance knowledge flooded his mind.
On the orb's surface, among the 23 flame engravings, the one marking the Myriad Beast Spirit Fire now blazed with crimson light.
Moments later, Fang Yang's eyes snapped open—brilliant light flashing within them.
"So this is what appeared after I devoured the Myriad Beast Spirit Fire—the Inheritance Altar!"
He approached the altar, placing a palm on its surface.
Instantly, flames surged across the stone.
From its center, a luminous fire orb rose—soft, mystical light radiating from it.
Fang Yang reached out, cradling the orb in both hands.
The moment his fingertips touched it—
FLASH!
The orb exploded with blinding radiance.
A vast ocean of information poured into his consciousness.
Fang Yang's vision went black—mind drowning in the flood.
When awareness returned—his eyes burned with unrestrained excitement.
"I never imagined… it's a Ninth-Tier Alchemy Inheritance!"
This legacy contained not only alchemical techniques—but countless rare pill recipes.
With his Heavenly Flame martial soul, Fang Yang could refine any spirit herbs into power-boosting elixirs.
But after the initial thrill—clarity returned.
A harsh reality struck him:
He owned not a single spirit herb.
How could he make pills without ingredients?
"I'll need to gather the base spirit herbs first…" he muttered.
Knock. Knock.
A gentle rapping interrupted his thoughts.
Fang Yang rose and opened the door.
Before him stood Gu Yue, dressed in a pale violet gown, her black hair cascading like a waterfall.
Since Class Zero's housing reassignment, she'd lived right next door.
"Fang Yang… would you… walk with me?" she asked softly, voice tinged with anticipation.
"Of course," he smiled, taking her hand naturally.
Hand in hand, they left the dorm.

Donghai Museum
Located in the city's southern district, the museum was an elegant, ancient-style complex—comprising a main hall and two annexes.
The main hall displayed rare spirit beast specimens, historical relics of Donghai City, and priceless artifacts from eras past.
The left annex housed an auction showroom, while live auctions were held in the main hall's upper floors.
The showroom required no ticket—crowds flowed in constantly.
Though an annex, it spanned four stories, 200 meters wide—a testament to Donghai City's status as the eastern coast's second-largest metropolis.
All four floors were exhibition spaces, categorized by type and rarity.
The most exquisite, expensive items were kept in private viewing rooms—accessible only to the elite.
Upon entering, Fang Yang and Gu Yue saw a massive sign:
First Floor: Soul-Guided Devices Zone & Non-Soul-Guided Devices Zone.
The Soul-Guided Devices Zone was further divided into Rare Metals, Finished Soul-Guided Artifacts, and more.
"What are you looking to buy?" Gu Yue asked quietly.
"The Non-Soul-Guided Zone," Fang Yang replied. "I want to check for spirit herbs."
"Spirit herbs?" Gu Yue's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "What for?"
"Secret," Fang Yang grinned, leading her into the exhibit.
Glass cases lined the halls, filled with exotic treasures.
Soon, they entered a 300-square-meter hall—spiritual fruits and rare plants displayed in orderly rows.
Each had a detailed placard:
Dragon Spirit Grass – 10 years – Rare Flora – Starting Bid: 260,000 Federation Credits – Estimated Sale: 300,000–350,000
Crystal Peach – 20–30 years – Nourishing Spirit Fruit – Starting Bid: 150,000 – Estimated Sale: 180,000–210,000
Fang Yang scanned the displays, seeking suitable alchemy ingredients.
Gu Yue walked beside him, quietly admiring the exhibits.
"What kind of spirit herbs do you want?" she asked.
Fang Yang inwardly sighed.
With his savings, he could only afford thousand-year herbs—nothing rarer.
"Ahem… just browsing for now," he admitted awkwardly.
Gu Yue saw through him instantly.
"Attendant," she called calmly.
A uniformed woman hurried over, bowing. "Honored guest—how may I assist?"
"Can you purchase the entire first-floor spirit herb section for me?" Gu Yue said casually.
The attendant froze, disbelief in her eyes.
"Honored guest… you wish to buy… the entire exhibit?"
"Yes. Is there a problem?" Gu Yue pulled out a black-gold card.
The attendant's pupils shrank to pinpricks.
"T-This is… the Federation Bank's Supreme Black-Gold Card?!"
"Please wait one moment!"
