"Are we early?" Albert looked around the auditorium but didn't see George and the other two. He reached into his pocket, took out his pocket watch, and glanced at the time: 4:10.
Just in time.
"However, that makes sense."
Albert suddenly thought of something and couldn't help but sigh. George and the other two were only eleven years old, so it was impossible to expect them to have much of a sense of time.
What's more, none of the three of them had a pocket watch!
"I hope I don't have to wait too long," he murmured.
With nothing else to do, Albert took out his wand, wiped the fingerprints off it with a handkerchief, and recalled the knowledge about summoning spells from the theory of transfiguration.
"Chrysanthemums are in full bloom," he murmured.
Well, nothing happened.
Albert immediately checked his skill list and suddenly noticed someone sitting down next to him.
They're not twins, I should say. If it were three of them, it wouldn't be so quiet.
Albert glanced at the skills but couldn't find the Summoning spell. He realized he'd have to borrow a fifth-grade book to look it up.
"What's wrong?" Albert asked Shanna.
"Um... could you..." Shanna hesitated for a moment, but before she could finish speaking, she was interrupted.
"Albert, over here…" The twins were waving at him from the entrance of the auditorium.
"I have to go." Albert looked at Shanna and asked, "What were you trying to say?"
"It's nothing." Shanna looked a little disappointed.
"If you want me to teach you Transfiguration, I'm afraid not now. I have an appointment later." Albert reassured him, recalling some problems he encountered when he first started learning magic. "Don't rush it. Getting started is the hardest part. It took me a long time to learn Transfiguration."
"Oh, thank you." Shanna thought for a moment and said, "Could you spare some time tonight...?"
"If there's time, that's not impossible… Well then… see you tonight!" Albert strode towards the auditorium exit.
"See you tonight." Shanna murmured softly, watching Albert's departing figure. "Why is the gap so big?"
"What were you talking about just now?" Fred asked curiously.
"Are you talking about where you're going?" Albert said irritably. "Your appointment with Charlie is almost up."
"You know we don't have pocket watches." All three looked a little embarrassed, knowing they had just been late.
"I'm not blaming you. I knew you'd be late." Albert looked up at the sky; the afternoon air was still a bit muggy.
"Speaking of which, is your brother really going to let us test fly on his broomstick?" Li Qiaodan awkwardly changed the subject.
Speaking of flying on a broomstick, Li Jordan was still a little nervous. After all, he had never actually tried flying on a broomstick before. Although his family had bought him toy broomsticks, those toys could not fly high or fast, and he certainly couldn't fly in front of Muggles.
"Yes, if he's a qualified captain, he won't mind taking some time to see if there are any promising newcomers. Even if they can't make the team in their first year, they can still serve as reserve players for the next semester," Albert casually reassured him.
"Albert is right," George said, patting Lee Jordan on the shoulder in a scare tactic. "I think your biggest worry is not falling off the broom."
"You're the one who'll fall from mid-air." Lee Jordan glared at George, annoyed.
"Albert, have you ever played with a broom before?" Fred suddenly asked.
"I was born into a Muggle family, don't you think?" Albert rolled his eyes at Fred and bent down to pick up a small stone from the ground.
"Why are you picking up that broken rock?" George asked, puzzled.
"You'll find out soon enough," Albert tossed the small stone in his hand, not directly answering George's question.
The four of them jokingly arrived at the Quidditch pitch, but Charlie was indeed not there yet; their agreed time was 4:30 pm.
"I reckon your brother might not show up for a while." Albert arrived at the entrance to the Quidditch Stadium; the door was locked. However, this didn't stop them. Albert easily opened the iron gate using the Araho Hole-Opening Charm.
The Quidditch pitch is covered by a soft grass surface, with a sandy area in the middle to reduce injuries from falls during the game.
Hundreds of chairs were arranged in the surrounding stands, and there were three poles at each end of the field, each fifty feet high, with a large ring on top, shaped somewhat like the small plastic sticks that children use to blow soap bubbles.
"Charlie is definitely late." Fred was a little annoyed.
"What are we doing now? We should have come later." George also regretted arriving so early, and the fact that they didn't have their own brooms was undoubtedly a terrible thing.
"You can practice spells," Albert said kindly, sitting in the shade of the lawn. "Practice the Light Charm. You're just killing time anyway, so give yourselves something to do."
"Okay, you're right." The three of them were a little annoyed, but they had to admit that Albert was right. Since they had nothing to do anyway, they might as well find something to do so that time would pass faster.
Albert also drew his wand and began practicing the Disillusionment Charm with the stone he had just picked up.
"Now I know why you were able to learn spells so quickly." Lee Jordan stared at his blinking wand, a little annoyed.
No matter how hard someone practices, unless they're really stupid, there's no reason why they shouldn't learn it!
Of course, if they knew Albert had some kind of cheat code, they probably wouldn't think that way.
Around five o'clock, Charlie Weasley rushed over, bringing his broom with him... a broom that swept away five stars.
Of course, it was the twins who specifically introduced it to Albert, and that's how he learned the name of this thing. He heard it was a rather old broom.
"How did you get in? I remember there should be a lock here." Charlie looked at the four people walking towards him with a puzzled expression.
"Of course, we use the unlocking charm," the twins said matter-of-factly.
"Ahem, don't use that tone, it's like you guys know how to use a lock-picking spell," Lee Jordan couldn't help but complain.
"Anyway, it wasn't you who drove it." George rolled his eyes at Lee Jordan and said irritably.
"Alright, the test is simple. You just need to ride my broomstick around the Quidditch pitch!" Charlie looked at Albert and Lee Jordan and asked, "Have you ever ridden a flying broomstick before?"
"No," Albert answered decisively.
"I've only ever ridden toy brooms," Lee Jordan muttered under his breath.
"After they've finished flying, you two can try it too!" Charlie wasn't opposed to the friends the twins brought. He turned to the twin brothers, who were fighting over the broom, and warned, "You two, just fly around the Quidditch pitch properly. If I find out you're up to any tricks... hmph!"
