Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 Trading X Flower Fragments

A barbecue restaurant not far from the Sky Arena.

Piled on the table were mountains of skewers and several bottles of beer.

Having been thinking all the way about what Kevin wanted from him, Mito couldn't help but feel a bit strained seeing this scene.

Kevin walked over, sat directly on a nearby stool, and gestured with his hand.

"Sit, don't be shy."

"This isn't about being shy, is it?"

Mito walked over, sat down, and complained.

The skewers here were piled up like a mountain of meat.

He never thought his appetite was that big. If it wasn't for him, then all those skewers would definitely end up in the other person's stomach.

Could he eat that much?

Adhering to the logical thinking of 'eat more, refine more, grow more'.

Mito finally felt he had discovered the reason why the other person's physique was so powerful.

If he could really eat and digest it all.

"Before we eat, tell me what you wanted to see me about? Before this arena match, I don't recall ever meeting you."

If he didn't resolve the matter, he wouldn't be in the mood to eat.

Kevin tore at a skewer, swallowing the food in his mouth.

"Don't worry, it's just a very ordinary matter."

Saying that, Kevin didn't hide or conceal anything and directly stated: "During the battle earlier, I noticed something on your body... Hmm, a medicinal ingredient?"

"Medicinal ingredient? On my body?"

Mito had made many guesses about why Kevin would seek him out, but the other's words were something he hadn't expected.

Mito pointed at himself, then shook his head: "When I fought you, I wasn't injured, so naturally, I wouldn't use any medicinal ingredients.

Other than this stick and the clothes I'm wearing, I have nothing else on me."

It was precisely for this reason that Kevin had sought him out.

During battles, there was always a simple pat-down to prevent either party from hiding any weapons outside the rules during the fight.

In non-Nen Ability combat, firearms were extremely dangerous.

"That's what I thought too, so I'll take a guess: perhaps the medicinal ingredient I need is on your clothes?"

Kevin couldn't be sure.

These words confused Mito a bit, but he wasn't pretentious and immediately took off the jacket he was wearing.

The outer garment, with its strong ethnic characteristics, was clearly not a robe but a type of draped attire.

"These are just ordinary clothes. If they can help you."

Kevin took it: "Thank you."

He placed his hand on the surface of the clothing and slowly began to investigate.

When his hand touched the area over the chest, that subtle sensation returned, very faint. If Kevin hadn't been very focused at the time, he would never have felt it.

"It's here."

Hearing this, Mito also looked curiously at his clothes. He himself hadn't found any so-called "medicinal ingredients" on them.

The draped garment was entirely blue, with orange and yellow accents used for the edges and central patterns.

The entire outfit gave off a strong ethnic vibe, though the specific origin of the ethnic style was unknown.

"This button... only this button."

Kevin held the button and turned to look at Mito.

Mito nodded: "No problem, you can take it off. It's not anything valuable."

Although it was handmade, it wasn't worth much.

"Thank you." Kevin thanked him again and took off the button.

After careful examination, he discovered that the button had a special interlayer structure in the middle, making the entire button appear more coordinated and adding a touch of elegance.

If Kevin hadn't felt the material he wanted from it, it would have just been a well-made button.

Prying open the button, what was foldered in the middle was something like dried flower petals.

"So there's this kind of material inside the button." Mito hadn't thought of it until now, looking somewhat surprised.

Kevin looked at the button and suddenly asked: "Do you know anywhere else that has these flower petals? Or do you have any left?"

Every material that could ignite a craving in Kevin was extremely precious.

Mito shook his head: "I don't know about that. This garment was made by a grandmother in our tribe, and the button might have been made by someone else. I don't know.

I'll have to go back and ask to get an answer."

Then he added: "However, you'd best not get your hopes up too high. When this garment was made, the area we were in was no longer on this continent."

"Huh?" Kevin was a bit confused.

Mito explained: "I come from a nomadic tribe. That's not quite right, but we do migrate every so often."

I know about migration, but migrating to another continent, is that right?

"Besides, I'm out traveling. It's not easy to get out, and I don't really want to go back so soon."

"Is that so? That's a pity." Kevin felt some regret, but he wasn't a forceful person.

He thought for a moment and wrote down his phone number.

"This is my number. If you find out any information, please trouble yourself to notify me. It's very important to me.

I will give you a corresponding reward, or if there's anything you need, if I can manage it."

Mito took the slip of paper and looked at the number, appearing somewhat conflicted.

"Is it too much trouble? If it really is a lot of trouble, then forget it."

Mito looked at Kevin. To be honest, Kevin's sincerity was evident.

He bit his lip, came up with a solution, and said: "How about this: I'll notify you to go to a certain town or area then.

You wait at the designated place, and after some time, I'll tell you the information I know. If there are any reserves, I'll personally deliver them."

Though Kevin didn't understand, he nodded without hesitation.

"I'm troubling you. Thank you for your help."

He was already thinking about what reward to give the other party.

"Now that we've talked, let's eat. I ordered such a big table, and eating barbecue alone isn't much fun."

Kevin said, handing a bottle of beer to the other person.

Mito took it, thought for a moment, and also smiled. The two clinked glasses.

The meal lasted until late into the night. With enough money, the boss decided to work all night.

"That's amazing, you actually finished all that! Is your stomach a giant pouch?"

A flushed Mito patted Kevin's shoulder, laughing as he asked.

"Haha, this is nothing."

"Speaking of which, with your strength, why did it take you several months to reach the 160th floor?"

Mito himself only took half a month to reach this point. His goal for himself was to reach the 200th floor.

"This is also a way of cultivation, drink!"

"Good, drink!"

The two chatted and ate and drank.

They didn't leave until the moon hung overhead.

Although he drank a lot, Kevin wasn't drunk, looking at the tiny bit of dried flower petals inside the button in his hand.

"I wonder if this little bit is enough."
