Arlene's POV
Looking back now, suggesting the amusement park rides might not have been my brightest decision. Warner and Nicholson trail behind us while I navigate toward the Galaxy's Edge section. The twins waste no time before insisting we join their games. The scenes unfolding before me feel almost dreamlike to witness. Warner's natural charisma apparently extends to winning over our son as well.
"Everything alright with you?" Isabel inquires as the three of them finally commit to experiencing the attractions together.
"I'm fine," I respond, stealing another glance at the trio before meeting her eyes.
"Look, we're going to be connected for quite some time, Arlene. Don't shut me out now," she gives me a gentle nudge.
"Maybe we should let the guys have some space to—"
"Absolutely not," I cut her off before she can finish.
"Understood," she clears her throat awkwardly.
"I'm simply—"
"I get it," she offers a strained smile. "I just want to make sure you're at ease here."
