Honestly, I'm not sure how it'll perform. I've never published on Kakuyomu before, so I can only hope the results are decent enough to make everyone's time worthwhile.
As for the story's direction — the tone will stay true to what I promised: fast-paced action, sharp humor, and pure reader satisfaction.
Within that, I'll keep the plot logic tight, but I'll also make sure things stay lively and unpredictable — I think you've probably noticed that already.
The anime-based cases will only borrow the backgrounds from the source material; the actual developments will be completely rewritten. Otherwise, what's the point? If it just followed the original, neither you nor I would have any fun with it!
Now, about Ren Kuroda's moral standpoint:He won't be joining the "red side" or the "black side." He stands entirely on his own — his side only.
Letting the Black Organization take all the hits gets boring fast. So this time, expect some balance. Once in a while, even the so-called "good guys" are going to stumble.Because what I want most in this story… is fairness.
And for those of you wondering about Akemi Miyano still being alive, and whether that affects Shiho's transformation into Ai Haibara — don't worry. That'll happen, at the right time and in the right way… just not immediately.
