Irina's POV
I stayed calm and focused, treating the procedure like I was handling a couple of simple needles rather than performing actual surgery.
The medical staff watching me stood there in shock, amazed by my technique.
"Don't be fooled by how young she looks. Those hands work miracles," one of them whispered.
"She's incredible. I'd give anything to have half her talent," another chimed in.
I finished the minor operation quickly and efficiently.
Javion remained groggy from the anesthesia, his head foggy and vision unclear. When he spotted me beside him, he reflexively reached out and grabbed the edge of my shirt without thinking.
My face seemed to blend with his memories of someone else. Through his haze, he appeared to see a sweet, loving girl smiling and pleading with him to buy her some cheesecake.
"Sadie," Javion whispered, but the medication overwhelmed him, and his hand fell away.
